When I visited in early April they had a selection of flavored snacking almonds, bulk Jordan almonds, bulk almonds, some olive oil, balsamic vinegars, gift items, and some drinks. The stock will highly depend on what they're working on selling and how much has already been purchased since they're closing on after April 24, 2026. The items are heavily discounted 40-50% off (when I visited) and if you're an almond fan it's a great time to stock up. The staff was friendly, though you can tell it's sad for everyone that this location is closing. Discovered the Blue Diamond retail store while I was listening to looking for out hotel. My family and I are big fans of Blue Diamond nuts as they offer numerous flavors and we purchase Blue Diamond nuts weekly from our local Target store. Visiting the retail store/gift shop where this all comes together was very cool. The exterior of the old, large, red-brick building is very nice. Once inside, the retail store is very modern looking and inviting. Every flavor, every product Blue Diamond offers is sold at this store. There are also other types of nicknacks sold here. I heard that they are closing the plant and store so I made a trip to check it out before they close. Luckily they do not except to close until around December 2025 according to the nice young lady working today. She was so helpful and offered me a taste of a blueberry flavor that was on special today. The blueberry flavor was delicious, crunchy and purple sugar covered almonds. The store was clean and well laid out. There was a large selection of flavors to choose from. I am happy I stopped by. Just remember they are closed on weekends. Visited the retail store to experience it before it closes down. The store is surprisingly big for a company that is shuttering its processing plant, with lots of options and things to look at. It contains both almonds and related goods and things that are more California-centric, like plastic cutouts of the state and tea towels. The employees do not hover over you and they give you ample time to look at everything the store has to offer. Though it is an industrial building, the store feels very homey and comfortable. This is a great place with lots to offer for everyone and I'm sorry to see it go! Parking is a little confusing due to poor signage, but it's a minor issue. read more

Super Surprised How Awesome This Store Is! It doesn't look like much from the outside but once you walk in... you're like WOW! Look at all this stuff! Not all of it is Blue Diamond Almonds. They have all kinds of gifts, condiments, etc.... from honey to jams to oils to spreads to dry mixes to serving dishes and cutting boards, etc. I love almonds and it's one of my favorite snacks. I'm particularly fond of the wasabi Blue Diamond almonds. They also have seasonal flavors too like Snickerdoodle and Peppermint Cocoa almonds! And I found that they do single serve almond flour brownies in a cup. I naturally had to buy one. I have not yet tried it, so I need to do that soon. We ended up buying all sorts of random things. Plus, mom needed a gift for a friend, so we had one of the many gift baskets shipped home. This may be our Go-To Gift Basket present for when we send presents to fiends/family. We normally do Harry and David but that gets old after a while. You can order online too! If we lived in the area, we'd be here at least once a month to stock up on goodies. I have to say, I am an almond fanatic. Whenever I'm needing to fuel myself up with a quick snack to help curb the appetite, eating almonds has always been a clean and healthy way to get me through the day. And living in Sacramento, we are very fortunate to have a well-known local company in "Blue Diamond". Amazingly, this company has been in Sacramento for over a century (founded in 1910) and has been the leader almond distributor throughout North America. The headquarters is located in downtown Sacramento at 17th and C St's. Usually when I ride my bike alongside the nearby American River Bike Trail, I can smell the almonds roasting from the factory much like warm pancakes. The scent is absolutely heavenly. Hours of operation are Mon-Fri from 9:30am to 5pm and Saturday from 9:30am to 4pm. Parking here is easily accessible as there is an abundant amount of parking spots on any given day that lead directly into the spacious nut and gift shop area. Once entering, there is a seating area to the right when they provide tours at certain times of the day. And if you go to the left, you are then taken to almond heaven as the gift shop has an absolutely endless amount of choices to pick from. All of the almond samplings here are FREE and what I like about it, the employees here encourage you to try as many different almonds as you like! Some of my personal favorite flavors are the "Smokehouse", "Dark Chocolate", and "Honey Dijon". However, they offer more than 25 different flavors that I'm sure would cater to anyone and everyone. They also offer an assortment of different packaging that ranges from the small cans to the large 1-lb bags. Additionally, they offer many different gift sets as well. And if eating almonds is not your thing, "Blue Diamond" also offers many different alternatives to choose from. They offer a variety of their popular "Almond Breeze" almond milk (in vanilla, chocolate, and other flavors) as well as their "Nut-Thins" snack crackers that come in many different flavors. I usually always pick up a box of these since they're harder to find at my local supermarket. One major reason why I come here is that their prices are at least a few dollars less than buying it at the grocery store. I usually come here on an average of at least once a month to stock up on my beloved almonds. And at times, they offer "damaged packaging" and "products nearing expiration" specials for only $1.00! All of these products might have a minor dent or rip in the box but anywhere from 50-75% off the regular price! Also, the customer service has been top-notch as I wanted to give a shout-out a employee Keren for recommending several products that I have not tried before, primarily the Elote-flavored almonds. Overall, I will continue to support "Blue Diamond Growers" as my go-to place for smart and healthy eating. It has been a frequent business that I have come to for years and will be for many years to come. For those of you who may not live close to this particular factory, "Blue Diamond" also has a nut and gift shop located in Chico and Modesto. We have known and loved buying Blue Almond items from the grocery store, but it was awesome to see it all in one place and with such a wide selection! En route home on 16th St from a luncheon, I thought, "I wonder if the Blue Diamond store is still open?" To my delight, I saw the sign saying, "Blue Diamond Gift Shop" and I turned up C Street to the still, very immaculate facility. I was impressed then, as I am still, of how, after all these decades, the Blue Diamond facility is still immaculante! It gives me reassurance to know that Blue Diamond products are still made under continued stringent quality. When we relocated to Sacramento in 1982 there were free factory and production tours led by very informative tour guides. The tours were excellent and something we always brought visitors to. Now, there is a seating area as you enter the building with a TV used to play the video of almond production for interested patrons. A busload of Chinese tourists came while I was here and in fact, sat in that area to watch the English language video (they should have it in languages for the tourists as I believe if they understood the process, more sales would be generated!) They were all given a sample bag of Smokehouse Almonds and if you ask in the store, as I did, the store personnel will give you one too! Samples of the various flavors of almonds in special bottles are still available in the shop but then, there were perhaps 3-4 flavors and now, there's so many!! The 6 oz Habanero BBQ was on special for just $2.29 and all other flavors were ONLY $2.89 a can! The price for a 6 oz can vary from $3.49 at Rite Aid to $4.79 at Smart n Final this week! There are many gift boxes and beautiful baskets available also, but "..you're paying for the packaging" and can save lots more if you purchase the products individually. Almond Milk in 4 varieties are available for $1.99 (I got the coconut one YUM!!), a 6 pack of snack size almonds for $3.29, and best of all, a POUND of chocolate covered almonds for $5.69!! Many other related gift items are available too-it is well worth a visit to stock up on all your almond needs as well as browse the store for many one of a kind items! read more

I've visited the Blue Diamond gift shop in downtown sacramento several times in the past few months because I like the prices overall. But I do not pay for bad customer service. The few young ladies working there were not helpful, didn't offer help and when I asked for help, they took a very nonchalant unhelpful disposition. I did get a few names but I'll save those for corporate to address. I noticed a difference in the service based on the ethnicity of a few folks upon arrival, which is Unfortunate since I've had several relatives who've worked for & retired from Blue Diamond and were treated well. Unfortunately, No more visits into the store unless the customer service improves...perhaps new workers who are happy to help all customers. read more

When you walk into the lobby, there is seating and an ongoing video that describes the growing and canning process. Most everything they carry is the Blue Diamond brand, packaged next door in the factory. They carry a few dressings and sauces that are a nice addition to anything you may want to pick up. You'll find almond milk in a variety of flavors, almond meal, and almonds... an amazing amount of almonds! There are different package sizes to even choose from. When was the last time you were able to sample something before buying it? Here you can help yourself to samples of any of the amazing flavors of almonds; from regular roasted & salted, seasonal flavors, sweet & savory, to some amazing spicy flavors. The salted caramel and honey roasted chipotle are rockin flavors. Try my personal favorite, the wasabi & soy sauce. You'll swear that you're eating sushi. Just YUM!!! This review is for the visitor center and gift shop at the Blue Diamond facility in downtown Sacramento. The large Blue Diamond complex processes a lot of almonds and other nuts to create various raw, processed, and nut products. Many of these items are for sale at the visitor center and gift shop near C & 16th Streets in Sacramento. The visitor center is fairly basic and does not include a tour. You can see a few historic items and photos, and staff will run a video upon request about the facility and the history of farming almonds in California. The main draw is for the large gift shop which has a huge variety of almonds including many specialty flavors. They also stock some bulk items and a custom gift packing and wrapping service. This is primarily a place to go nuts, but there is not much else than a great store. Access is a little difficult tucked into an industrial part of town with limited parking. Those that venture to Blue Diamond will be rewarded with a huge selection at reasonable prices. read more
