Blue Goat Roofing, specifically Nick H. was referred to us by the outfit that was doing our solar project. We are first time home owners and when we purchased our older home, we knew that there was only around 4 years left on the roof. We also knew from the inspection by a roofer during purchase that the next time the roof was done it was going to have to be a complete removal of all shingles, inspection of structure and installation of new materials. We had received a couple of quotes and had a ballpark idea of what we were looking at cost wise, what we didn't know was the breadth of materials that were out there as options. To be honest we were a little overwhelmed. Nick has been in the roofing business for quite a while and is very knowledgeable on the various products. We didn't expect, but greatly appreciated the openness, honesty and integrity Blue Goat showed in trying to get the best product and warranty for our budget/money. Nick was fantastic this way. He answered all our many questions and what ifs, provided us part numbers, samples and material background information so we could do our research and he was upfront, honest and straightforward with the process and potential issues he saw. He was always available and in communication at each step going above and beyond professionalism and care. The Blue Goat crew was prompt, courteous, thoughtful and thorough. I was impressed that the same care we had known Nick to provide (both my husband and I) was also what was provided by the tare-off crew and installation crew. I used Blue Goat Roofing to install a new replacement rood that was ~24 years old. I had some leaking in an area of the roof several years ago and Nick of Blue Goat roofing came out and knowing I didn't have the funds at the time to replace the roof, he went ahead and went "above and beyond" to make the necessary repairs without charging me (~$500 repair cost). Nick did as I remember him when we were ready for a new roof. That first impression and interaction was what sold me to use Blue Goat roofing. Words cannot express my appreciation to Nick!
