I hired powerhouse to inspect my roof after a major remodel. The plumbers and hvac guys installed some vents but we had a leak after that. Powerhouse did a good job fixing the hvac and plumbers work. They were on time and cost effective. They also fixed a few other areas that were of concern. Next rain.. No leak! I highly recommend powerhouse for all things roof. read more

Justin Cate, the owner/manager, is a personable guy who patiently worked with me to determine our roofing needs. His price was fair and he fulfilled his commitment to schedule. His crew was outstanding, very thorough and diligent. They were careful not to damage shrubs and patio furniture. Cleanup afterwards was as thorough as I've ever seen; they left the property in better shape than before they started the job. Actually used a magnet to detect and pickup any roof nails that may be hidden on the ground or in the gravel. Clever. Justin installed gutter covers for us and repaired a minor issue he discovered on the chimney. If only all contractors were as professional as Power House Exteriors! First a little background. Three days before Christmas we noticed a leak coming through the fan vent above our cook top. I first called the roofing company that initially installed our roof in our 2 and a half year old "custom" home and nobody answered. I phoned Powerhouse and spoke with Justin. He told me he would try and get out to our house in the afternoon that day. Justin ultimately was unable to get out that day but because of his attempt, I decided to give him the job and set it up for Tuesday the following week. The young man showed up on time, quickly found the problem, improper sealing around the vent. A reasonable price was given to make the repair. The young man checked all the other vents and discovered two additional vents with the same issue. All three vents were repaired at the price quoted. I'll use this company for all further roofing needs and will refer to neighbors should they have issues. read more

The pricing was up front and the work was done on time. The crew did a fantastic job cleaning up after the work and didn't damage anything. Justin also installed a solar fan in my attic and added some heat stripping to handle an area that consistently freezes and leaves ice on my garage. we contacted Justin after a windstorm damaged our roof. Justin not only came by that evening to check on damage but also made a special trip to our house the day the insurance adjuster arrive. He spent an hour with our adjuster and us and in the end I know it helped .. we got full replacement. thank you, Justin! Justin is a great communicator and if he doesn't know the answer to something, he has several contacts he can call on to answer our questions. While inspecting our roof and walking our property, Justin pointed out a few safety and maintenance items we should take care of, told us how he would do it and offered to help if needed. I had my enclosed patio re roofed in 2015 after my ex fell through it. Had solar installed about 2 years ago. Developed a leak when we had all the snow, which was under the solar panel. Trying to get someone out to look at it and repair the leak was a total bitch--tried calling several places and no one called me back, except this guy. After coordinating with the solar people he came out and located this tiny hole and fixed it for the service fee of $125. Boom! Fixed! Took a big load off my mind.
