I was aware of $89.00 to come out to do job + additional fees for work involved. NOT an Emergency Job. I forgot to ask for quote up front BEFORE he began work. He used crow bar to slide very heavy grate over, poked slush of leaves & murky water, and determined how to proceed. He used Shop Vac to suck up water while poking leaf debris away from vacuum, shoveled out leaves (about 5 vacuums full) dumped where I asked him to nearest to grate. Put cover back on. All in less than 45 minutes. Received this bill: Plumbing Diagnostic $218. + Difficult to Access fee $73. + Trip fee $89. + $380. + Taxes 31.16 = $411.16. *****WAY OVER-PRICED FOR THIS JOB***** Difficult to Access fee was for having to get on his knees & manually shovel out the debris as explained to me by Eric. I finally got up on my roof to see what had been done because I am quite old 71 to be exact and found that he had smashed my air vent across the top of the roof as I have a metal roof . He tried to use a standard ladder to get to the top which he could not reach so he laid it down and stood on to ​ the edge in able to get a few inches so he could stretch on his tipping toes to reach the top which he never saw the top . I also witnessed with my own eyes and tried to put up that slid down my chimney which smashed ​ on my roof with him on top of it . Now if you would have bought the correct ladders like a step ladder he would not have done such a poor job . Extremely unhappy with this contractor I would not use him again or recommend him . This time Drew picked up the phone and was yelling obscenities into the phone now claiming he broke his plow and is stranded in Clifton Park. Yelling Dakota probably went to lunch? I in turn started raising my voice at him stating, I hired you not someone named Dakota. I told him I want my money back. Enough. Long story short Dakota was at my neighbors house plowing. I lost it started yelling his name and screaming where were you? blah blah blah. He came and plowed the driveway fairly well. I provided hot chocolate, water bottles, protein bars. ETC. I gave him a $55.00 tip. Thats right..only for him to proceed to tell me he couldn't do it again for free? I said what? He claims that he did not receive any monies for the work from Drew.
