This is a long overdue review. I used their services back in spring of 2023. This was after I had…read morecalled several other companies which didn't call me back and one sent someone but they just looked at it and never contacted us again, and another never showed up. I read lots of amazing reviews on Mundae and requested a service. They were so responsive and talked me through the process. It wasn't long before someone came out to take several tests that consist of an air sample outside and inside and an actual sample of the mold, and a walk around to see if they spot more mold anywhere else. The report came back quick and scheduling of the mold remediation was quick. 3 workers were sent and it took half a day total since it was just our upstairs that needed it. Everyone we encountered was friendly, kind, and informative. Responsive whether it was text, phone call, or email. Appreciate the speediness in which the issue was resolved and felt very pleased with the service. Also I can report back that since then no more mold has appeared. I highly recommend them and have their info saved in case I need them in the future but honestly I hope I really don't.

I called a plumber who was excellent--thorough, professional, and informative. After about 1.5 hours, he determined it was likely a "sweating" air duct and suggested I contact a specialist. I called Air Quality Express, and a technician named David arrived on 8-21-26. He was here for a total of five minutes, no joke. He went into the attic, I heard some movement, and two minutes later he came back. When I asked if he found anything, he said, "No, can't see anything, have to cut the wall (sheetrock)." I asked about the air ducts in that area, and he replied, "I can't see behind the walls." He used a moisture detector, which left two holes in my wall. He was very quiet, hard to understand, explained nothing to me and gone in minutes. Worst service experience I've ever had--they really live up to the "Express" part of their name. Five minutes, no answers, no solutions, and gone. Won't be calling them again. Why do I feel like he might have sabotaged something in the attic?

I turned again to YELP to locate a company to remediate the results and find the cause or source of the problem. Alan's Restoration had the highest number of 5-star reviews so I took a chance and contacted them - now wary of the highly rated YELP reviews. Turns out this outfit is worth their 5-stars - and then some. EXCELLENT customer service including accurate and frequent communication, fast response, quick turnaround, friendly people and most important - when a substantial problem (that they did not create) developed during the project - they came back after completion and corrected it the next day. And I'm sure it was probably at their expense. Not many companies like this around anymore. I know that for sure from nearly 70 years of experience with 50 in project management. It's a real crap shoot these days when contracting with anyone on YELP or pretty much anywhere else, as I unfortunately found out with that cable company that caused this entire problem. So, I could not rate this company any higher and I recommend them more than any other I've dealt with in many decades. They yanked my bacon outa' the frying pan on this one.

Paul Davis not only called but they were out within hours of the initial call. The dry out service was immediate and well done. Due to the freeze, adjusters were backed up and it it took longer for them to put my house back in order and understandably so, as the whole state of Texas was affected by the freeze. The second time was for my AC that backed up and damaged my walls and floors. Once again Paul Davis came through for me, drying everything out and getting my house back the way it was. Evironmental hazard, cross-contamination, 3 no shows, floor damage during demolition(not compensated for), license RCO01356 was expired at the time of service (still is) TLDR, used 8 fans and 3 humidifiers for a 10-day job. 35 days later, walls still wet; moisture readings @ 70-99%, resulting in microbial growth (mold). I never signed a letter of completion/satisfaction. Does anyone know a 3rd party attorney that can handle the complexities of this loss? If not, I will have one within the next 60 days.
