Of course I had to try it and it was wonderful. I did a 90 minute massage with about 1 hour Swedish and 30 minutes barefoot. The barefoot massage felt like a deep tissue massage but better, no not better but deeper and the coverage was more all at once. It's the only way I can describe it. When Erin hit my shoulders it was like the sweet spot, I made sure to let her know too, got some extra footsie up there I believe. I can't describe how good the barefoot massage was! It's not a massage I would have regularly but it will be a specialty I'll do ever so often. Love going to Massage Theory and having Erin as my massage therapist!

I now go to smaller places like these because I find they usually do a better job. I was on Amelia Island accompanying my husband who attended a conference at the Ritz. I wanted a massage without the $300 price tag from the hotel, so I came here because of the reviews I had read and was not disappointed! I wanted a deep tissue massage to work out my knots. Danielle was wonderful and found tight knots in spots I didn't even know I had them! Whenever she found a trouble area, she spent time on it rather than just continuing the routine. That's what made it excellent! I felt so good afterwards because the tightness had dissipated. I wish I would have had time to come back to continue working on those knots and it made me realize I need to find a therapist local to me so that I can continue the treatments and get rid of those knots once and for all.
