I now go to smaller places like these because I find they usually do a better job. I was on Amelia Island accompanying my husband who attended a conference at the Ritz. I wanted a massage without the $300 price tag from the hotel, so I came here because of the reviews I had read and was not disappointed! I wanted a deep tissue massage to work out my knots. Danielle was wonderful and found tight knots in spots I didn't even know I had them! Whenever she found a trouble area, she spent time on it rather than just continuing the routine. That's what made it excellent! I felt so good afterwards because the tightness had dissipated. I wish I would have had time to come back to continue working on those knots and it made me realize I need to find a therapist local to me so that I can continue the treatments and get rid of those knots once and for all. Thank you Danielle, what a great massage! If I ever come back to Amelia Island, I will be sure to book another session with you.

I was so tired of going places to have a deep tissue therapeutic massage and instead being given a glorified Swedish (relaxation) massage for barely 50 minutes out of a hour appointment. Luba offers Ashiatsu massages where she can deliver greater pressure to the muscle groups, and she does so for the full appointment time and at fair prices. One thing I really like about Luba's technique and professionalism is that if she comes across a real sore spot will she do some extra focus time on that area so you can have some therapeutic gain. At my last massage she mentioned we were in a different room because she was doing a barefoot massage and the poles were best for her in that particular room. Of course I had to try it and it was wonderful. I did a 90 minute massage with about 1 hour Swedish and 30 minutes barefoot. The barefoot massage felt like a deep tissue massage but better, no not better but deeper and the coverage was more all at once. It's the only way I can describe it. When Erin hit my shoulders it was like the sweet spot, I made sure to let her know too, got some extra footsie up there I believe. I can't describe how good the barefoot massage was!
