*Temperature taken at arrival* Masks in the pool and during therapy which is odd because proper breathing is essential for exercising Everyone seems really kind and always helpful I would suggest water shoes for the pool and just for general safety if your balance isn't great. I love that they play music It doesn't really lend itself for guests but if the massage area in the pool area isn't being used, you can sit there. ( I do) *TAKING PHOTOS INSIDE IS NOT ALLOWED*Please respect people's privacy. My dad is really happy and enjoys coming VERY much which says a lot because he NEVER wants to go, or do anything! I'm excited to see my dad's progress! I hope that whosoever comes, is greatly improved physically and emotionally lifted knowing you are in good hands. 4 1/2 stars, if it were available. The facility is very nice and the therapy really alleviated my back pain with just 4 weeks of therapy. Actually, I got pain relief on my first visit. Also, the facility management is very open to and responsive to feedback. Facility: The pool is very large with different depths and a comfortable temperature. I haven't found a water-therapy facility with a larger pool. The pool has some seating ledges for certain stretches and handholds for deep-water therapy and traction.They have a variety of equipment - floats, weights, balls, noodles, etc. - that they use for the exercises. They also have a hot-water whirlpool which they have you use at the end of your session. There are women's and men's locker rooms with lockers, private changing cubbies and bathroom facilities. They provide towels and also ask that you bring your own. They are vigilant about pool safety as well. There's also a standard land-therapy section if that's what you need. And they have therapy tables next to the pool as well for times that they want to work on something specific there. Therapy: The first time you go, you'll have a very thorough assessment with a physical therapist. Mine was more thorough than any I've had from a doctor - including the orthopedist. The results of the assessment goes into targeted therapy for your problem areas and your therapy goals, and I was quite impressed with how well they assessed and matched needs to therapy plans. Most of the actual therapy is done by physical therapy assistants - but that's common practice. Each therapist is often scheduled for multiple clients at once, and they enter notes on your performance and progress during the session. Because of this, I sometimes felt like the therapists didn't wait around to confirm that I was doing the exercises properly before moving off to instruct the next client, but I gave feedback on that and they did their very best to address it. I will definitely go back when I need more therapy. read more

This is an awesome place to get your physical therapy. You can do it in the large swimming pool ( I love) or land based therapy. It does not appear that a lot of Doctors know about this location. i've improved over time. And look forward to my customized sessions. The Therapists are experts in their field, encourage you and keep you on track to resume daily life. The facility is very clean and they look out for your health. Was referred to this facility by my doctor for post operative treatment after a total hip replacement. I thought "Blue Lagoon", spa, can't be serious but I was wrong. This a modern, clean physical therapy facility where you are brought back to normalcy through the efforts of a professional staff of physical therapists using water therapy. Let's you do things that would be much harder out of the water. The atmosphere is friendly and helpful. If your assigned therapist happens, temporarily, to not be there, there is another one to help. Everyone is on the same sheet of music so there is no confusion. I recommend this treatment center. read more

I had a lumbar fusion on my spine. I had serious issues with my vertebrae lower back pain and paralysis in my right hip and leg post surgery.
