I went to Joyce Long for colonics but after she reviewed my medical history she realized I could not do colonics at this time. To Quote the Everyone Poops book, poop should be celebrated....Everyone does it. Or to quote Ms. Joyce," there is always more." LOL I had been thinking of getting a colonic for years, and after starting this BluPrint cleanse, it was highly recommended to get one. I googled, and researched, and had remembered for YEARS seeing Ms. Joyce's ads in health and fitness, and wellness magazines across Houston for at least 20 years. In addition, I had heard her on a radio show, and her zest for life, and no none sense attitude made it an easy choice for me. Obviously, this isn't a glamorous process, and not for the faint of heart (if you can survive a Brazilian you can survive this!) but after doing my research and speaking to my doctor, it is a necessary process. The office is a cute little place off Yorktown in the Galleria, and I called and made an appointment for the same day, if you have a doctors prescription, its less expensive, but if not they can provide one for you in house based on your health background. I was instantly greeted my Ms. Joey, told to take off my shoes, and went over my goals, and health background. I was then shown what the next 45 minutes would entail, (I will spare you the deets) but if its your first time there is a bit of being uncomfortableness, but nothing too horrible. In the end, I felt a TON lighter, and less toxic. I spoke to Ms.Joyce on the way out, and she gave me TONS of information on health, lifestyle choices, skin treatment, and things I never even thought of to help my body. Her wellness clinic does a WEALTH of holistic treatments including hydrocolonics, Chinese cupping, massage, ear candling, and on and on. I kicked off 2106 with Joyce Long! Her colonic hydrotherapy and lymphatic massage services are the best way to cleanse your body and start down the road to health and wellness this year. I have been a client of Joyce's for 4 years and she is AMAZING! She has been in the business for decades and is incredibly knowledgeable. Joyce Long has an amazing history of helping others, while battling her own cancer she still gives back to others in the same war. She is one of the most loving amazing people we have had a chance to work with. While working with in the same philanthropy social crowds it had always been easy to notice who Dr. Joyce Long was, she is more then the life of the party she is the party. Fun, happy, always making introductions, and posing for pictures you would think she has it all! It was over our love for music and her life long involvement in the charity world that we sat down one event and talked for hours. In that conversation I found out she was not anyone I had ever met. She was battling cancer and instead of giving up and saying well Its my time everyone feel sorry for me now, she decided to give back. Not writing a check and ignoring the problems of the world but becoming involved and getting as up close and personal as she could. She is a huge advocate for cancer education and prevention and an all around amazing person to whom I am blessed to have in my life. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone. I'd never had any sort of colonic procedure done before. but this was was by far a much better experience than I thought it would be. Was really nervous about it when I got there, but the staff was so friendly and comforting that I felt right at home. The facility was very clean and sanitary. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The colonic hydrotherapy procedure was nothing like I thought it would be (in a good way), and I felt wonderful afterwards. They were also very informal about the benifits on having a colonic and the before and after care. I will definately be making another appointment very soon.
