I found Blue Line Stucco and Vince from his excellent Yelp reviews. I had had a single new front door installed where a double door had been before. The door installer did a great job but not the finish work. Vince put on a large patch of stucco on three sides of the door as well as painting the inside wood frame and patching in new grout along the threshold inside which matched very well. The outside patch didn't quite dry to the color of the surrounding area which was 36 years old, so he and Jose returned to fog that. Jose also patched a small place on the back yard stucco wall that had been damaged by a power washer (different project a few weeks ago). It was not their problem, but Vince didn't charge me additional for that. I am very happy with his work. The front door stucco repair he did looks perfect as does the back wall. He and Jose were meticulous in covering the door with plastic as well as the concrete area in front. Everything was cleaned up completely when they left. I had a relatively small stucco job done: replace bad wood covering a chimney with stucco at the back of my house. Positives: When tearing down the old covering, they replaced bad studs quickly and at a reasonable price. The underlying cement they installed seemed good quality. Neutral: The stucco top coat seems OK, but has developed a few small cracks after 3 months. The overall appearance is also OK, but nothing great. The guy who did it seemed more interested in speed than doing a good job. Negatives: Stucco got splattered everywhere within ten feet of the part of the house that was supposed to be covered, including fruit trees. Parts of the house and a nearby storage shed that were not supposed to be stuccoed had to be repainted. Clean up was minimal and left over material was hidden under bushes rather than carted away. So make sure cleanup and haul away of all trash is in the contract and supervise what is going on. Check everywhere before making the final payment. read more

More than happy with their service & quality of work. Vince' assistant communicated well their scheduled plan for the demo and stucco. They were very responsive to all our queries/requests and replied in a timely manner. A week or two we had to move the start date coz the entry door didn't arrived as scheduled (stucco and electricals pushed back) Blue Line stucco understood the situation and right away tentatively moved the start date pending the arrival & install of our entry door. Likewise, on the first day of the job (demo & putting of wires/black paper) they adjusted their working hours ( came in before 7am) to accommodate the electrician who will do rewiring. They work fast without compromising quality of work. They explained the process very well. Pricing wise -- very reasonable (actually the lowest bid). Likewise, Vince was honest. We were also thinking of a re-stucco for the east side of the house due to some cracks. Apparently these were minor cracks only and assured us that the stucco is still in good condition. Vince warned me not to go too smooth and I probably went smoother than recommended but he and his team still did a fantastic job smoothing out what was there and finishing with a great smooth texture.
