Superior Stucco and Stone did an excellent job on our exterior retaining wall, and I would happily recommend them. The wall had a long-running moisture issue that caused bubbling in the painted finish, so we wanted to cover it with stone veneer while still allowing the wall to breathe and drain properly. Hugo helped think through the right system, including creating an air gap behind the new veneer, and the installation was done beautifully. Once the prep work was complete, Christian applied the stone veneer, and his attention to detail was outstanding. The wall is an irregular shape with slopes, steps, angles, and awkward transitions, but he cut each stone carefully so the finished wall looks seamless and intentional. That level of patience and perfectionism is rare to see. Both Hugo and Christian were courteous, professional, and easy to have around the house. They kept the job site clean, tidied everything up at the end, and even hauled away the empty brick pallets, which was not part of the original scope, at no extra charge. DO NOT HIRE!! Select any other contractor. Very, very bad service. Did part of job, disappeared. Arrived 10 days later with giant ladders for a ground floor job, pounded on roof (likely damaged, i cant see up there), left mess for 3 days then finally took it away. No bill came, piles of trash bags were left. Then a company rep came to the door demanding money! I asked for porch beam to be replaced and patio furniture to be put back and trash to be hauled away. THEY REFUSED. The owner came pounding on the back window threatening legal action after i had to bill just 4 days. EXTREMELY UNPROFRESSIONAL. Way overpriced. read more

We contracted with Superior Stucco to fog coat our 6000 sq. ft. multi level home. it hadn't been painted in 20 years and the stucco color was cracked and faded. The workers meticulously repaired the cracks and applied the fog coating after. They were professional, good communicators and cleaned up upon completion. The home now looks great! Luke did a fantastic job. The side of my garage was cracking, Luke showed up for a quote when he said he would and explained the problem is words that I could understand. These 2 stars for the foreman and they did great work. The owner Shanna is a hot mess. You need to send deposit check via mail, which I followed up for over a week because they do NOT put you on schedule until they recieve deposit of $500 for $2500 minimim. Remind you they do not have paypal, quick books, or venmo. Just snail mail which Shanna stated in a text that their mail man often misses their mail box and they do not always get the mail in a timely manner. However when I sent my final check she stalked me saying I refused to respond (i was out of town and her messages are ALWAYS rude) I finally called her after numerous threats to file a lien on my house when I stated the check was sent. She continued to refuse to resolve the issue.. I kept offering to send her another check if she would promise to send my original check back. She did not want to resolve, just argue. I have tons of vendors I work with for other projects. This was by far....Super unprofessional. I have paragraphs upon paragraphs of her texts to me. She is clearly unstable or took whatever she is going through, out on me. Stay away! I feel sorry for her crew who do good work. UPDATE: Her response to me is evidence of the numerous looooong texts and threats, yelling at me on the phone and doesn't act rationally to resolve the issue. She also texted me as well with 2 more long paragraphs, and is now threatening to sue me for my open and honest review. I deal with many contractors for years and never had any issues. Btw...my check was recieved the next day when she actually went and checked her office mail box. read more

I would never hire this Co. for stucco repair. We had a guy come out and give us an estimate to do some Stucco repair on our house, he was very nice on the phone, and he showed up early for our appt . My husband said he was courteous, and seemed knowledgeable, and said he would email the estimate later that day. The estimate came in that evening and it was so outrageously high, I nearly fainted of shock, especially because I had a stucco repair guy give me an estimate about a year ago, and it was less than 1/3 of what superior stucco wanted to charge. Also, he said he wouldn't be able to start the work for at least 6 weeks!. Needless to say, I called another Co. called Precision Stucco, and the owner Jerry came and gave me A VERY REASONABLE ESTIMATE. Got it done 3 days later and it looks amazing! We had removed our brick planter bed because it was leaking to the house. We got quotes from construction companies and the price was just ridiculously high. So our landscaper demo-ed the wall and transplanted the bushes and I looked to get quotes from vendors who just worked on rebuilding stucco. We had damage wood and compromised underlayment too. We decided to go with Superior Stucco and they were quick and very responsive. I was impress by their crew as well as the owner (Pavel) who came by every day to see the status on the work. I realized with yelp, going with the most reviews is not the greatest idea. I got burned by two contractors by doing so. You get lost and put in the back burner since they get so much business from yelp inquires. I'm glad that I chose Superior Stucco who had great reviews but didn't have as many reviews as the other companies. We just needed two sides of the house restuccoed. They did a wonderful job and left all in great shape. We were a bit concerned about how it would look with only part restuccoed. They took a flake from the wall, got the color analyzed for a great match, and were careful to accurately reproduce the finished look (the way it was applied) So, aside from the fact these walls are absolutely clean there is no way to tell they weren't all done at the same time.
