Amazing find! Was visiting from the east coast and was pleasently surprised to find such a great place to purchase gifts for friends and family back home. I spent over an hour browsing before I finally made up my mind on my purchases. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable - it was like talking with an old friend. I left with several pieces of jewelry, 2 photographs (those are for me!), as well as three scarves for my girlfriends. Great place!! We are planning on doing some skiing in Steamboat in February - I will make a special stop to Blue Moose on my way back to the airport!! read more

I just finished an acrylic art painting class taught by Patti Stickler, and just had a blast. Not only was the class fun and affordable, but amazingly instructional as well. Patti is a gifted and wonderful teacher; free with her tips, advice and thought processes. My finished painting may be a little short of a masterpiece, but it is destined for the wall, not behind the furnace in the basement. The class definitely expanded my creative horizons. read more

Best gallery and gift shop in Fort Collins! I used to fight the traffic and shop for art and gifts in Old Town, but now do all my artsy gift shopping at the Blue Moose. Such a great variety of art, colors, styles and prices. They have cards, gift-wrapping, will ship and even do lay-away. What a welcoming, fun place! Such a happy place! Vibrant colors, interesting sculptures, beautiful scarves, amazing landscape art, unique jewelry, and breath-taking photographs. I can stop in for 5 minutes or 60min and still not see everything. Gift-giving was made easy for me as I found $5 items as easily as $20 and $50 ...even a porcelain sink and sculptures for over $1k.
