A throwback to the early 1980s est., Blue Mountain Inn is a welcoming stay with many inclusions to make up for the dated decor. Definately serviceable, friendly staff who smile when they take a 100 a night deposit (for what Im really uncertain) but it was refunded roght after. The room itself had a locked window with a view of the parking lot, blinking lights in the elevator and of course, crazy smashing doors. Lets fix those guys! i stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is about a short 5 minute walk to Blue Mountain village. It is also pet friendly. There's an indoor pool and hot tub along with 4 outdoor hot tubs. The pools are open from 7am to 11pm. The outdoor hot tubs were the best, and the temperature was hot enough even in colder weather. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel such as the Pottery and Jozo's bar. The Pottery serves brunch and breakfast. Jozo's bar serves bar food. There is a resort fee of $38 plus taxes, which includes some amenities like free parking, wifi in room, gondola ride, and hiking trails. etc. I was lucky to book the hotel prior to the mandatory resort fee, so I was able to opt out. If you are looking for an affordable stay, then stay here. read more

This review is for Historic Snowbridge stay that we had last year. We stayed here for two days in one bedroom home. The place was really good. Although it is a little far from the village, the shuttle service of the resort is a very convenient option. The home was very good. We had a ground floor home. The living area was quite large and spacious. They have a fireplace but we had a bit of trouble in getting it started - the reception wasn't really clear on how to go about it and we received very little help on that. While the overall cleanliness of the house was good, the sink had two uncleaned mugs which weren't expected. The working of the kitchen was good. The staff was fine. It is to be noted that the check-in happens at Blue Mountain Inn on Chateau Ridge. Our check-in was pretty much smooth. No issues there. Overall, a great stay. read more

Stayed during ski season, and compared to other properties in the village, I'd say its comparable and cheaper. The room itself is about same size as others in the village. The flat screen tv is nice, there is a usb and hdmi plug in the wall, it makes me think I could plug something in, but didnt try. The beds, also decent and slept well. The bathroom, only a shower which is fine. Often times I find in hotels like this the tub feels a bit grimey, so the shower didnt have that feeling. The vent though needs to be cleaned, a lot of dust build up. The fascia of the counter was also broken, but not noticeable unless sitting down. The pool and hot tubs are great for winter. I love the outdoor hot tubs during winter. Staff were friendly and helpful, a decent amount of trolleys to carry luggage, and I dont have to navigate the hard to turn underground parking, all parking is above ground. read more

Budget hotel not far from Blue Mountain village. If it wasn't for how cheap the room was ($80 for the night. We stayed for Rememberance Day weekend), I'm sure my review would be bumped to 3 stars. There nothing spectacular or memorable about this hotel. ROOMS: The appearance of the rooms looked okay and were fairly clean. Some minor things that I noticed: - the toilets flush SUPER loud. Like I would be startled every time. - walls are paper thin. You can hear conversation from the hallways and from next door. - rooms are carpeted. I know it's supposed to make it warmer but it feels really unhygienic when it's at blue mountain and you know people bring their wet boots and gear into their rooms. AMENITIES: There's an indoor pool on the first floor, a gym in the basement, and outdoor hot tubs that were closed during our stay. There's also two restaurants attached to the inn but we didn't try either of them. There's a free shuttle service to the hills and to blue mountain village. We never needed to use it because there was free parking everywhere but it sounded pretty convenient. Apparently you just text them and they'll come pick you up (like a free taxi service??). read more

Five stars for one reason: it promotes middle class stability, and makes luxury available to all with a modest income who don't need to over do it. No wobbly, creaky motels in the area that are charming enough to stay at. Along with overpriced village counterparts, this is the reasonably priced ($159 weekend / $109 offseason) option. Full service spa. Outdoor hot tubs. Indoor hot tubs. Saunas. An indoor spacious pool (with diving depth!). Spacious, woodsy rooms. High thread count. Room service. Full bar delivered to room. As a stand alone hotel in the middle of nowhere, on a completely dead weekend -- "the dead weekend of the year between ski & summer season" -- coming here was a complete respite. Like what they wanted in The Shining, but... you know... better. I'd imagine that during peak season, the price is higher, but the way this place rests as the moderate choice in the ski village, it's the right choice no matter what you need. I would recommend figuring out a way to eat on your own rather than in the village or room service. Like a pack a microwave? I'm not sure. The $20 fish & chips down the street cancels out the money you'll save on your May Two Four weekender. Also, don't go to Wasaga. read more

The cut backs continue shorter hours and less staff. Lead to a diminished customer experience this year. That is bad enough but today they tell me they do not have and butter to go with dinner roll .... Really out of butter at a resort with this kind of volume. Expect less this year or you will be dissapointed. Some speculate that it is the higher minimum wage ? I don't know but the cut backs are being felt by the paying customer. They have closed the south chair and runs. Chair broke down at peak season cut backs in maintance ? Could be ? People trapped on chair lift for upto 2.5 hours this wee. Skiing the north chair opened at 8:30 but they did not open all tge runs they show open until 9:30. More cut backs. read more

Mediocre for the package $$ my hubby purchased. I believe he bought the romance package which was over 400$/ per night. It was actually a bit odd the room we were given since it had 2 double beds for a romance package lol. It was nice that it came with champagne upon arrival tho. It was also low season so the blue mountain hills were not yet opened so not sure why it was that pricey. The village was completely dead. I am surprised all the stores are still open tho! We also stayed with our dog. They were very welcoming to dog owners. Possibly the reason why we were given that specific room. It was on the 2nd floor and the balcony had stairs down to the main floor so that you could walk your pup in/out without going through the hallways of the hotel. I believe it was only $50 a night extra to have a dog. It was part of a dog hotel package which was suppose to include dog bed, treats, food, baggies and bowls. We had only received the dog bed and a huge treat once we called in twice for them. This hotel also has indoor pool and hot tubs. Also 3 hot tubs outside! It would be nice to go during the winter. We did not opt to go swimming tho since it was a bit packed during night. But during day there was no one there. They have 2 billiard tables inside in lobby. $2 per play. As well they have free wifi but only in the lobby which was a very inconvenient inside the room. The room does come with the essentials. However the tv was smaller than expected probably 32". We also tried out their restaurant for breakfast. They do breakfast buffet for $16 eggs, sausage, cereal, French toast etc. I opted for the eggs Florentine. read more

I happened upon this place between ski season and cottage season at 2am on a Saturday night and my driver and I* decided this would be a funny place to stop. We started the day off looking for fun places to eat and see and stay in northern Ontario, and we certainly succeeded. We swore we'd be cheap, we'd stay in a motel, we wouldn't break the bank. Now this place wasn't cheap, but it wasn't over-the-top expensive so we went for it. Nice rooms, flat screen TVs, mountain views (which we wouldn't discover until morning) and a free shuttle to the Blue Mountain Ski Village... think tiny and cheaper Tremblant. The next day we headed to Collingwood, Wasaga and Meaford. Collingwood and Meaford had nothing we were looking for (maybe we really aren't cut out for crappy motels?) and Wasaga was terrifying. Like rural Florida, only worse. Just quite ridiculous and the only place I've ever seen someone walk into a restaurant, sit down and get service while wearing no shirt or no shoes. What? That's right. No Shirt. No Shoes. No Problem in Wasaga. As the day progressed we decided to return to our faithful ski resort inn. Why not? The pull of the heated pool and the outdoor hot tubs was too much to resist. We checked out only to check right back in. PEPPER'S PISSED: I really dislike it when nice hotel rooms only have showers. Room service brought breakfast in a timely manner, but food was not hot, toast was soggy. Server forgot coffee and tea. Honestly so disappointed and would never ever come again. Booked a nice night out for my Grandmothers birthday. We got the spa and stay package and was told that our vouchers would cover the relaxation massages ... all of a sudden after the very very strange massages there were additional charges. We than went to the village for dinner at a restaurant, was super expensive. But that was expected. Came back to inn, went in the pool for a bit. Than went down to Jozo's bar to have a couple drinks. We got there at 10:15 and the bartender made it very clear he was disappointed we showed up. He stated they closed at 10 but the sign clearly said 11. He still offered to make us drinks but we could tell he wanted to close early or something so we left. We than went to get into our beds and there were hairs in the bedsheets. Was honestly not worth the money at all! Was the same experience as a knights inn or something but at least that would of saved me $500 ‍ The most disappointing moment wasn't at the inn but the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory: I ordered 2 chocolates and the one had a hair melted right into it! We stayed in the Historic Snowbridge Suites, which are actually offsite from the Inn in a small area of townhomes. Our suite was GREAT with lots of room to stretch out, with a big dining room table, breakfast bar and cozy fireplace! It looked onto a golf course where we saw wild turkey running in the morning. It was so convenient to have a kitchen and washer and dryer. The Village was maybe a ten minute drive away, and the Scandinavian Spa about the same distance. Lastly the staff was very helpful, texting to see if we needed anything. I'd love to come back to see what it's like in winter. read more

Horrible custome service. Room kept getting delayed and delayed past the check in time at 4:00pm and when i asked why, they were unable to provide any 5:30pm reasoning. Waited until almost 5:30pm to check into my room that was reserved for 4:00pm. Ridiculous. read more
