I've been a loyal Glenmar customer for 8 years, and during that time have received from them the most sound and sage advice on amending soil, deterring pests, and ensuring success with recommended varieties of perennials, shrubs, and trees they sell. The most hardy and long-lived plants in my yard were purchased from Glenmar: healthy hostas, gorgeous and unique selections of false spiraea, and my favorite coreopsis which has endured and improved throughout 7 years. They've also helped me diagnose and resolve problems with spruce and cherry trees. The grounds of the nursery are beautiful and peaceful. They have a lovely selection of roses in the front, shrubs as you enter, trees around the perimeter, vines and perennials near the greenhouse, and shade perennials beneath a large tree. The greenhouse displays their annuals as well as their ponds, which are populated with numerous little frogs. Each year they offer a good variety of recently-introduced perennials, which I had previously only found on mail-order gardening websites. I've also purchased good quality landscaping materials, soil amendments, and all manner of gardening supplies here.

New trees are planted yearly and they have a variety of trees from Blue Spruce, Concolor Fir, Scotch Pine and more. There are trees of all shapes and sizes too. The experience is fun, you are provided a saw and then you start the tree hunt. Once you select the tree the nursery will drive the tree back to your car and secure on your vehicle. There are also pre-cut trees if the tree hunt is not your thing. Inside the nursery there are a variety of wreaths available for purchase too. Great family owned nursery - highly recommend.

I called my credit card to start the chargeback process, found another company to deliver. Ordered on a Monday, delivered on Thursday. But guess what, now suddenly Floods deivered their order. No calls, no communications. Again, something has changed. Please be aware and get everything in writing and be prepared for legal path if contract is not fullfilled. The problem we found is that some places we contacted didn't have what we wanted in stock, or they only had different types of decorative river rocks which are double if not triple the price per ton more than what I was looking for. I found Hilltop's website, saw what the pricing per ton for the product is and what the delivery charge would be. Made the drive up just to see the stone in person. They had plenty of it and it was very easy to pay and schedule a delivery date.
