Blue Mountain Mist Spa was a wonderful highlight of our Mother's Day weekend! We made three separate massage appointments -- for me, my sister, and my mom. They have a soothing waiting area where we could relax between sessions, complete with comfortable lounge chairs, delicious chocolates, and a lovely tea selection. Our massage therapist, Jillene, was absolutely amazing! She made us feel comfortable and gave some of the best massages we've ever experienced. Her demeanor was calm, personable, and knowledgeable -- she pointed out where I was holding tension and offered helpful tips on posture and other habits that could be contributing to it. Had a Swedish Massage and it was amazing! The Spa is located behind the beautiful Blue Mountain Mist Inn. They have sitting rooms upstairs and downstairs with refreshments. There is a massage room downstairs and the rest are on the second level. The full service Spa offers massages, wraps, facials, manicures, pedicures and more. I even had a private bathroom in my massage room. They do not have a steam room or sauna. I had the Mountain Mist Signature Massage with hot stones, steamed towels and essential oils. I added a foot paraffin wax which was done in the salon. They have great services and amenities. Will be back for sure. read more

Had a couples massage today during our stay at the Bed & Breakfast. The staff was attentive & worked hard to make our time here wonderful.

My husband and I came here for massages during our trip to the Smokie Mountains. The spa is in a cute refurbished house. It was very clean and professional. Karen and Kelsey were great!! We did a one hour Swedish massage but easily could have spent another hour in their care. I would definitely recommend Blue Mountain Mist to anyone while vacationing in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. read more

Do not use Groupon to book your appointment with this facility. Unfortunately the 33% gratuity is not added in and they ask for your credit card at the time of the booking which I find completely inappropriate because you've already paid for the services. Me being a massage therapist you wait typically after the services to get a tip so I don't know how things go here but for me this completely just wiped out my business with this company read more

I didn't get to visit this Spa but I did get to stay at the Bed and Breakfast that is near here and has the same name - - Blue Mountain Mist Bed and Breakfast. I did a Trip Advisor Review but it only allowed so many words. **I stayed in the Chimney Tops Room. It was so lovely! The bed was SO COMFORTABLE! I did have a bit of trouble with the lush pillows so they did get me a thinner one to sleep on. They even were kind enough to get me a step stool to get up into the GIANT BED. Everything in the room was SO CLEAN! The Breakfasts were DIVINE! The Desserts in the evening were also DIVINE! I felt as though I had gone back in time to my Grandma's Home. It was so comforting and Peaceful. The employees here are VERY KIND and VERY HELPFUL! I can't wait to return to this LOVELY Place! Thank you to EVERYONE at Blue Mountain Mist Bed and Breakfast! I will be honest, we initially felt that it was a little sketchy getting a couples massage in a house that was secluded, but the staff eased our worries very quickly. I never write bad reviews .. never ! I just don't post if I don't like something but my BFF convinced me to write an honest one, for other Yelpers . The property was very pretty and the Mountain View was fantastic I have been all over the country and had many different types of massage treatments. I love spas and all of the stuff that goes with them. This place was okay .. no sauna , no whirlpool , no other amenities other than water and trail mix and it didn't advertise any that stuff so .. but when that stuff isn't available the massage better be awesome and it was not. We all got the sea salt scrub mud treatment and it was just okay . It advertised a 20 minute scalp massage while you are wrapped and that never happened. To put the scrub and mud on your back you were made to sit up and that was very uncomfortable.... At the end the two girls couldn't figure out how to split the tip between them and two different credit cards . Not my problem, just let me pay and you figure that out with the owner. We were held hostage at the counter while they were trying to spilt the tips .. again not my problem and it made the whole experience stressful , not what I wanted for my BFF's 50th birthday gift. read more

I Heard much positive news about this spa. Unfortunately my experience was not like the reviews! I am a local GATLINBURG resident. I have been an athlete all of my life and have had more massages, therapies etc than I can remember. But well over 400; calculated by the number of years in professional sports and then post training. The spa is within a bed and breakfast. It is in the mountains and is an older home that has been refurbished. Very cute and quiet. The three stars is strictly related to a massage experience. This is not to represent any additional experiences that this spa has to offer. Although we were fine with being in the same room I really would have preferred being in a private room. Again, we are experienced and like to interact with our therapist throughout to give helpful feedback. In a couples scenario one does not feel comfortable giving feedback to the masseuse. The massage was not only cut short by 17 minutes (it was to be an hour - infuriating) but the young lady who worked with my daughter was not experienced. She did not address my daughter's back issues either; which were her chief complaint. I was very disappointed as we booked the massage so that we could both gain some relief. We left feeling like; first, the ladies wanted to get home as we were the last clients and it was obvious; and secondly, we left more tense at a muscular level than when we arrived. Various muscle groups that were simply left out entirely. I explained exactly what I wanted to accomplish in the hour. I left frustrated at a muscular level as my back was my major issue and was addressed for ~5% of the 43 mins. ( remember they shortened the one hour massage by almost 20 minutes.) My back was all that I cared about as this is the area in which I bare the brunt of tension that leads to muscular spasms that lead to pain. Thus the appointment in the first place. I am a GATLINBURG fire survivor and have been under incredible stress. I really needed help. read more

I found this place thru Groupon and after reading a few reviews I decided to buy myself the Groupon and booked my massage. Getting to the spa was a little tricky, don't go to the first driveway but go to the second one. I walked up to the door and knocked and about 5 minutes later a lady came to the door. Her name was Lucinda and she was my massage therapist. She was VERY friendly and made me feel very welcome. The spa itself was a former home turned into a spa and had a very homey feel. I went upstairs for my massage and the room was warm, and welcoming. Lucinda did a great job and I got the mountain mist with the hot stones, aroma scent of my choice and warm towels. The massage itself was perfect and I am contemplating whether or not to book myself another one before my vacation is over!! Got my husband and myself a couples massage and we were not disappointed. The location of the spa was just a tad bit confusing as they have a bed and breakfast right next door at the first drive way and the spa is at the second drive way. They have a little sign telling you this but didnt see it until we already turned into bed/breakfast. No biggie, just a quick turn around and we were next door. Place is clean and staff were friendly and inviting. After completing a little bit of paperwork about our history, allergies, likes, etc they led us upstairs to a room with two tables. Smelled good, good temperature, good relaxing lighting. One of the ladies gave us instructions before she stepped out, told us to undress and lay on the tables. She also told us which masseuse would work on which table, basically letting us choose which person that was going to be working on us. I loved that! My massage was the best one Ive ever had. The use of the hot towels and compresses they used throughout the massage was amazing. We will definitely be back, wished I lived closer so I could come more often. read more

My friend and I went to the spa during a bachelorette weekend. We each had an aromatherapy massage and a mani/pedi. The massage was so RELAXING! I fell asleep shortly into the massage and loved every minute of it. We each got to choose the aromatherapy scent for the massages. Heather took amazing care of both of us on our mani-pedis and paid special attention to any problem areas we had. She took time to help pick out polish colors that went well with our skin tones and she was fun to visit with and even gave us pointers on local places to eat. My review is based on just calling to inquire about setting an appointment. When someone answered the phone the talked so fast I couldn't understand what they said. I thought they said can you please hold, so I said sure. Apparently that isn't what she said because she then said Hello? I then began to try and speak that I was still on the line. I assume they couldn't hear because I was hung up on. So I tried to call back to which they answered the phone with just a brash hello. I asked if this was the massage place and she said yes. So I asked if they had any openings the next day, her answers were always very short and rude. She replied she was back to back the next and day and when I asked about the current day I got a quick no. I could tell my she was not interested in helping me find a day or time that worked with me. I was extremely disappointed in how they handled themselves on the phone. I was excited to call because they looked like such a great place and had high reviews. If a time and day wasn't available I understand and that is fine but you should never treat a potential customer with so much rudeness and disrespect. After the call I immediately called Fox Place. They missed my call but immediately called back and was extremely nice and very proper and precise with booking me a time.
