Blue One Transportation did our transportation for our guests to and from our reception. They were quick, attentive, friendly, and patient. The administrative side was amazing at answering any and all questions we had about the shuttle itself. Our driver was a dream! At the waterside Marriott, Blue One is providing all of the cab like services. We had a Blue One Van take us from the hotel to the Hyatt and the Oystercatcher restaurant. The driver gave us his card and said call dispatch and we will come back to get you. We called dispatch and they said they would only serve downtown. This is otherwise known as, "you are on your own sucker". I was dumbfounded. Why would the Marriott work with a company that will not come get it's customers after they took them to a restaurant. read more

Wish I could choose zero stars because they completely wasted my time and theirs. Rather than fill out the online quote, I specifically called to ask if they would help me with 2 short trips. The 1st was from Channelside, 2 more stops at local hotels then drop off at tiki boats 2.4 miles. Return trip was pick-up and drop off, no in between stops, less than 2 miles. Quote $360 - ridiculous. They should have explained they have a minimum hours requirement. Wasted my time and theirs. read more

I am so disappointed. The shuttle was almost 20 minutes late. The driver laughed at me for crying and being nervous. You cannot run a business that late when people need service. Please take in to account that 6:00 am is not 6:19. The van was clean and if it hasn't been late would have gotten a better rating. read more

Avoid the drama and take a cab. The office manager/dispatcher was unorganized. I called Blue One Transportation ahead of time to find out the price for roundtrip fare for 1-person from hilton downtown to the international mall and was quoted $20. I thought $20 for roundtrip fee was reasonable being that the mall was approx 5 miles from the hotel. Surprise, when I got into the van the driver told me it would be $20 each way. The driver called the office manager and had me speak to him on the phone. We finally agreed for me to pay $20 for roundtrip fare. A different driver drove me back from the mall to the hotel. Unbelievable, that driver tried to prompt a conversation about the earlier mix up. In disbelief, I was irritated and did not discuss it with him. I will never use this transportation service again. Was a bit nervous after reading reviews but my experience in Tampa with Blue One was just fine. I called them upon arrival at baggage claim and the gentleman who answered was perfectly professional and even texted photos of the door to use to exit and where to wait for pickup - nice touch. The van arrived promptly and I got a professional, hassle-free ride right to the door of my hotel for 15 bucks (before tip). Can't argue with that. read more

They picked us up at the airport to our hotel then to the ship and back to our hotel after the cruise. Very friendly and helpful. Could not have asked for better service especially on our return! I think the driver on our first trip from the airport was new. From the hotel to the terminal and then back to the hotel were excellent! Our last driver Randy was a pleasure to ride with. The Hyatt Regency recommended Blue One as their airport shuttle. I made a reservation & they were waiting as I made my way out of the terminal. $13 for a single passenger, but only $11 each way for groups of two or larger, so buddy up when you're leaving the hotel! read more

If I could give 0 I would. I should have read the reviews before hiring this company. I was referred to them by my wedding venue because supposedly Blue One has a Bus that fits 56-57 people and so I hired their services vs others because of the Bus fleet. I specifically requested this fleet to pick up my guests from hotel and take them to the wedding venue. I told them from the beginning I knew I was going to have a min of 50 for one pick up and a min of 60 for the second pick-up at night and I contracted in October for these numbers and my wedding was not until January so I did it with many months in advance. I also advised them from the beginning that I would have more people on the return so we contracted for the same bus + a small shuttle for the return at night. When I was getting closer to my date, I called Manuel who took care of me and told him I I had about 55 people for the pick up in the afternoon and about 68 people for my return and wanted to check if these will fit on what I originally ordered and he said yes that the max for the bus was 57 and the max for the shuttle was 12 so I was right there. I also emailed them that my final count of 55 for afternoon pick-up and 65 for night pick-up and I asked them to please for the night pickup at 10pm to leave as soon as Bus was full and then the extra small shuttle can stay until the last person leaves. My bridesmaids and mom were staying a few min late to pickup everything from venue. We all know how tired people are after a wedding. I actually emailed him one wrong pick-up # the first time and then I immediately corrected myself via email but since I didn't heard back, I called him 3 times until I got a hold of him and so I confirmed #s via both email and phone. Let me mention that I was the one who confirmed, they never did. The other transportation company I hired for the limo confirmed with me 3 days before. So what did I get? I got NO bus, I got 2 shuttles that fits 25 people each so totals 50 both ways. I got 2 shuttles for the afternoon pick up and the same 2 shuttles for the night pick up and both didn't leave the venue until everyone was in. So all of my requests went out of the window. I bothered my guests to confirm transportation usage for NOTHING. They were uncomfortable sitting in each other's lap for the 30 minutes ride because they didn't fit in what I got. Then when I called to complaint the next day, the manager Michele I think did apologize but said I will just not charge for the 3rd shuttle. I was like "I never ordered a 3rd shuttle! I ordered a bus and a shuttle." So I asked for a discount for the inconvenience and they refused to give me one, claiming that they were only charging me for what I got which as I mentioned is NOT what I ordered and contracted for. Now if you are reading this, you know as a Bride we want our day to go smooth, especially you want to make sure your guests have a good time after traveling from far and making it happen to be with you on your most important day. The fact that they didn't give a $h!t for making them sit in each other's lap and didn't give me some type of discount for the truly bad inconvenience tells me that they are only in this business for the money, they have 0 care for their customers and I really hope they don't get your business. These people have 0 customer service skills. I wished I've never hired them. I will make sure this review gets copied everywhere! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE. DO NOT HIRE! read more

Be careful. Driver tried to over charge us. Our hotel in downtown Tampa did not have a shuttle so they recommended BlueOne. According to the hotel website, and I confirmed with the front desk, our fare was to be $11pp if 2+ people. When my friend and I we arrived at our hotel the driver told us it would be $50, which we obviously refused. Also advertised to be nonstop service from Tampa Int and we made stops to two other hotels. Ultimately got us to where we needed but next time I'd take a cab. read more

We used the "Blue One" van shuttle at the Hyatt Regency in Tampa and started calling it the "Screw You One" shuttle after being charged $15 for what would have been a $5 cab ride (that's what the cab fare was on our return trip). Go out to the main entrance of the Hyatt and catch a cab instead. Their fare from the Hyatt to the airport is comparable to a cab though. read more

Upon the suggestion of the Downtown Hilton Tampa staff, we used Blue One to go from the hotel to Vertical Ventures (by the way...Vertical Ventures is AWESOME!!!) According to him, they are cheaper than a taxi. We paid $25 to go about 11 miles...it also took 20 minutes. We figured that was what the locals paid. Once we were done team building, we called blue one for a pick up. We were told "The other driver charged you too low for that ride. I will charge you $30." My colleague agreed but then I decided to check out the price of an Uber back to the hotel.. $12. We called blue one and told him that we are not going to use their overpriced service. The driver got upset and said "I'm pulling in now. You're gonna just leave me like that?" We said uber costs $12. He responded by saying "Ok Ok. I can charge you the same as what you paid coming here. $25 but nothing less" We told him no and we would take an uber. He was upset and hung up on us. So I guess we can't change our minds and we can't choose to pay less. I would not recommend this company for anything. This company only gets 1 star because I couldn't give it nothing. read more

I thought they would be a bit more reliable then other shuttle services but I was wrong. I made a reservation online and received an email notification which confirmed my pick up time along with the cost. The email also touted that they pick up every hour on the hour between 5:00am and 12:00am. I was waiting for my pickup 10 minutes before the scheduled time. At 10 minutes after the hour, I contacted their office, just be given another phone number to call to find out a status. I called that phone number, just to be told, that they have already been there. I guess I am the idiot to think they would own up to not showing up. One of their shuttle buses eventually arrived and I asked the phone representative was this the shuttle for me, considering it is now 15 minutes after the hour. I was told no, but he can try and locate the shuttle for me. I asked the driver if I could ride to the airport also and he reluctantly agreed, while the gentleman on the phone ended our call without confirming that I indeed had a ride to the airport. The driver drove one block and made a U-turn to go back to the hotel to pick another passenger, confusing everyone on the bus. The driver laughed off our comments about returning back to the hotel and proceeded to the airport, it is now 23 minutes after the hour. I will never utilize their services again. Stick with what's tried and true, Uber, Lyft, or a regular taxi. I am sure it will be cheaper and more reliable. Consider yourself warned. read more

Service was horrible. Called for a ride at airport. When we arrived the driver said we arrived the driver said we would have to wait on the next shuttle. This was at 1140pm. After waiting for another 10 min and no driver we called again for a ride. They asked us where the pickup was and asked us to hold on, then we were hung up on. I attempted to call back multiple times and no one answered. POOR customer service!!! We called an Uber and had wonderful service. I Will never use blue transportation. read more

I used Blue One for transportation from the Crowne Plaza West-shore to the Tampa Carnival Cruise Port. The driver was waiting professionally dressed in a suit at 10AM (on time), stored my luggage in the trunk of a clean Chevy Tahoe and was very professional, courteous and friendly on the way to the port. Once we arrived to the port low and behold the owner of Blue One (Carlos) was there to greet me and ask how my ride & vacation was going while assisting in unloading my bags and leading me to the cruise port since I was not familiar with the Tampa area. He then gave me his card and told me to let him know once I returned. On return, my cell battery was dead so I told the cruise porter that I wanted to shuttle with Blue One to the airport, so he ported my bags to the transportation area. At that time I saw Carlos and he approached me telling me he remembered me and asked where I was travelling to. I told him Tampa Airport but I did not have a reservation, he assured he would take care of me and 10minutes later I was boarding a Blue One shuttle to the airport. This was one of the more personal experiences I have dealt with when dealing with private shuttle services and it felt good to help a small business out. Cost was $10 from Crowne Plaza Westshore to cruise port....Then $10 from the Cruise Port to the airport. Highly recommend. read more

Price gouged on Christmas Day (December 25, 2017). Mistakenly took this shuttle at 10:00 a.m. It was located outside of the Marriott Hotel Waterside in Tampa. First mistake -- I did not inquire as to what the cost would be. I assumed it would be $12 as is stated on Marriott's website. It was more than double the price. Second mistake -- I did not ask for a receipt from the driver. No further mistakes will be made in using Blue One Transportation for any of my transportation in the future. read more

I'd give it zero stars if I could. They were late to pick up a group from our hotel them the driver whined because it wasn't a full bus. Then, already running late he makes an extra stop to fill up the bus. He tried to get us to pay for the round trip but would not guarantee that he would be the one to pick us up. After the concert we attended we go to the pick up area and the little runt in charge of directing their fleet said none of their shuttles would take us back to our hotel. Blue one has taken over what used to be an amazing complimentary service offered by Hampton inn rocky point. I found the drivers alot less friendly and less service oriented or accommodating. While the cruise port and airport transfers are fine. I would rely on google and independent research for any other shopping trips. No one seemed to know or had conflicting information on shopping areas. We asked to be shuttled to a certain shopping area on our return cruise and were told this could be accommodated for a fee. On our return this story changed and we were told the shopping area we wanted was too far away. We were given two options International or westshore, we googled our destination from both malls and the location we wanted was only 5 min away. We were charged 10.00 a piece there and back! Would not recommend for outside use of a cruise port or airport package. read more

We knew that traveling on Christmas would be hard so we talked to the company the day before. They said we will be at your hotel right at 6. At 605 a van came but it was for a pilot. We said where was ours and they said it was on its way. It came 20 min late. Can't run a business like this. People need to feel comfortable when traveling. I was staying at the Embassy Suites Tampa - Downtown Convention Center and they recommended this shuttle service. The nice thing was I could call the night before (they only leave every hour though...) and for $13 I figured it was good enough. The only frustrating part was they didn't tell me they would be picking me up in the back entrance, so when they were 15 minutes late I finally called and they told me he was out back. I should have read the reviews first. BEWARE. Horrible driver (Michael Castellano) and it appears, by reading the reviews, the rude treatment is customary. We did as we were instructed -- texted when we got to the airport. We were told a driver was on the way--van number 18. We see the van on the side of the airport building (not where there are signs for transport) and when we approach the vehicle, the driver says he's not there to pick us up, that we'll have to catch another van. We show him the text that gives his vehicle number and he still says he waiting for someone else I said "so what are we suppose to do - it's his van number that is on the text". He relents and does take us but I tell you his "I don't give a da__ attitude" was so blatant I can't believe this company would keep him employed. We took a cruise and we decided we certainly weren't going to call Blue One again. When we left the cruise terminal, there was a transport company that would take you from the cruise terminal to the airport for $8. I wish I had written down their name and number as now I can't find it on the internet. They were great - and cheap. read more

I was recently in Tampa for 24 hours and contemplated transportation options. The Hilton downtown recommended Mike and Blue One so I rolled the dice. From the start at Tampa International I had a great experience. I think Mike works 24/7 as every time I needed a ride he answered the phone. They carried my mother and I from Airport to hotel to concert back to hotel to airport within 24 hrs. The drivers were on time, very pleasant, accommodated my mother who was in 2 knee braces and always on time. $11/adult to/from the airport, $3/adult between hotel and Straz each way so prices were very reasonable. I will use this service anytime I am in Tampa. I cannot stress the clean, comfortable atmosphere and pleasantness of the drivers. Better service than any cab company I have ever used in Florida. read more

I just took Blue One from a Downtown Hotel to the Airport. Driver was nice but experience was poor. When I got in the van I said needed to charge my $13 by charge. He challenged me and asked me if I have cash. I said unfortunately I didn't. He seemed annoyed and asked me again if I had cash. Then he borrowed a charge card processor. Unfortunately he did not know how to use it. He tried several times then talked on phone with colleague who slowly walked him through. In the interim he suggested again that I use the ATM to get out cash. (ATM at hotel charges $3+) Unfortunately this all took time (almost 15 minutes.) Driver was nice but I am really shocked that Blue One can run an airport shuttle transfer service and the drivers do not know how to accept charge cards. Most travelers are business travelers and use charge cards to process payment. read more

Reliable and friendly staff. We even used them for my son's wedding. They were punctual and very professional. The vehicles were spotless and the driver was very kind to the bride and groom. We were sold a round trip ticket $10 each, for six passengers upon arrival at the cruise port. When we returned the shuttle was there however they wouldn't take us with our prepaid voucher. Instead they loaded paying passengers at $8 each. See, they already had our money but left us standing in the rain. Abdel, (bus 22)who sold us the original tickets said "there is a special shuttle coming just for the six of you." So Ed shows up with the van half full saying he was directed to pick us up but didn't have room for all of us so two were left to get a ride. Two other shuttles came and went refusing to take them to the airport with the voucher. Only after complaining did they finally get a ride. Meanwhile, our driver Ed who was courteous, complained that he probably wouldn't get paid for the four of us on his shuttle. I told him to thank his friend Abdel who lied not once, but twice to us. If I could give this no stars, I would. We used Blue One as part of a hotel package - they were to pick up/drop off at the airport and the cruise terminal. We were the first drop off (there were another 10 or so people on the bus) at the cruise terminals. Instead of unloading the bags and taking ours out, the driver yanked our (brand new) suitcase from the bottom of the pile, breaking the handle. He did not apologize - he just shrugged and shut the doors to the van. We were incredibly frustrated, so called Holiday Inn Rocky Point. They stated they contracted the work out to Blue One, and gave me Frank's (the owner) phone number. When I called Frank and explained what happened, he stated that he talked to the driver and did not believe me because "the driver's are taught to handle luggage differently". I said that it makes sense that they are not supposed to yank bags from the bottom, but this driver did. Frank proceeded to tell me I was wrong, our suitcase was old, and that there was nothing for him to do. I asked if there was anyone else to speak to regarding our issue, and he laughed saying he was the only one. He then said that he would "talk to me later" and hung up. Frank was incredibly rude, and had the worst customer service I had ever experienced. Never have I, as a customer, been treated with that much disrespect. Next time we are in Tampa, we will use a taxi. read more

The service was supposed to accept credit cards, however upon arrival to the hotel I was informed that "this van doesn't have a credit card machine". BEWARE!!! The price they quote you over the phone when you make your reservation changes when you arrive at your destination. This has happened on 2 separate occasions! This last time the price doubled when we arrives at the restaurant. When I objected to the dispatcher, he lowered the "new" price, stating he was giving us a 40% discount. After being bumped from our room at the Embassy Suites Downtown Tampa Convention Center to the Westshore Embassy Suites at the airport, we were extremely upset. We were given vouchers for Blue One Transportation. We wondered how we would get to our Amalie Arena destination on time to see the Andre Rieu Concert (our dream concert). We put our faith in Blue One Transportation. They came on time, delivered us on time, picked us up after the concert on time, and delivered us back to the Embassy Suites Downtown to pick up our car, which was valeted here. Not only did we use them four times for on time transportation, but also they we the friendliest, most professional people we met in Tampa. Two of the drivers were Tim and Mindy. They we outstanding--customer service is obviously their motto! Tim is fun and so customer oriented--he loves his job and loves people. Mindy, a manager loves her company and does whatever needs to be done! Randy, the dispatcher, made sure we had on time transportation! They made our trip to Tampa so enjoyable! Thank you! read more

Not very impressed with this company. They were recommended by the hotel concierge. We wanted a private shuttle to the cruise port from the hotel and then to pick us up from the cruise port to go to the airport. The drivers were nice. Whoever answered the phone and did the scheduling did a very poor job. We prepaid with a credit card over the phone and was supposed to receive an email confirmation and voucher. Never did get that. We had no issues getting picked up from the hotel and delivered to the cruise port. Being picked up from the cruise port was another issue all together. We called when we got off the ship to make sure they were there. We were told the white van was there to get us. Well, we paid extra for private transportation. Our driver was summoned by the van driver and he came shortly. I do not blame the drivers. They were very nice. The owner was the one who didn't seem to care. read more

We requested pickup with Blue one Transportation from a local hotel to the cruiseport in Tampa the day we were to depart on our voyage. They arrived roughly on time and we were underway. We had looked on a map and seen it would probably take 10-20 minutes to complete the shuttle if they picked up a few others. after driving to multiple hotels the driver announced that we would have to switch busses to a larger one. The other bus shortly arrived and we switched. that's when it all went downhill, not only did they not have working a.c while we were waiting but we were stuck in some random hotel for atleast 30minutes. the driver of the other bus was courtious enough to offer to switch our luggage to the larger bus. after another 15 minute ride (making our shuttle service from local hotel to cruiseport atleast an hour) we got off and went to get our luggage. It turned out that the thoughtful bus driver somehow FORGOT OUR LUGGAGE. We immidiatly called the customer service line and explained. they contacted the original driver and got back to us that he had made a mistake and was very very sorry. "Ok no problem we said, mistakes happen. please deliver it as we are about to go on a cruise". they replied that we had to wait at the bus stop in the cruiseport until he could get around to dropping it off. I asked for a time frame and they told me about 3-5 hours!!!. this is where the customer service got really nasty with me and refused to find a way to get it to us sooner. I ended up sitting on a parking lot sidewalk for hours as a half dozen blue one transport buses came through until they showed up with some bus we had never seen before (the original driver never even came). While the driver was nice and said the original driver was "very very very sorry" the words seemed a bit empty after a 4 hour ordeal to get from one side of the city to the other.... Worse that taking a very long time to shuttle a couple people around, worse than making a mistake of not switching luggage to the proper bus, and worse than having to sit on a hot sidewalk and wait until someone felt like bringing our luggage over, was the APPALLING customer service who were outright rude and refused to help, almost going to the point of blaming me. When I mentioned we would be providing a negative review they said that I was "JUST ONE PERSON, SO IT WONT REALLY MATTER". moral of the story. dont go with blueonetransportation period. just take a taxi. read more
