Blue Ox Games is a good one stop shop for, trading cards (MTG, Pokémon, new TCG's that come out such as One Piece and others), comics, board games and more! They offer weakly events, and days to play different TCG's and Warhammer every week. Never felt more welcomed as a customer and have met plenty of friendly staff, the value of the products are always fair and to market. Here for the first time on Friday. So glad I finally made it in! The staff is very friendly and helpful with game recommendations. The selection of board games and other items (comics, miniatures, dice, TC&Gs, and table-top gaming paraphernalia) is pretty large, and there's even a sizable gaming area within the store! It is evident Blue Ox supports the local community: game nights on Tuesday's at Pitt Street Brewing, support for the local Whirligig Stage play, events at the store, and more! My son and I stopped in while visiting friends in Greenville. What a great spot! The staff was very friendly, but let us do our browsing. And there was lots to browse! They have a good variety of comics, cards, tabletop games, RPGs, miniatures, POP figures, and more. There is certainly something for everyone. There's a massive gaming space in the back. I imagine they must have a very active gaming community. I'm jealous! If you're a gamer or you just want to be, this is the spot for you. read more

A great card game store with anything you would need from magic the gathering to FunKo. Big area to play games with your friends, and many tournaments are held during the week. Definitely would recommend to anyone that either wants a comfortable space to chill in, or just wants to buy some booster packs. Also a good assortment of comics to choose from. read more

I used to go all the time (not so much now that I've got kids). I really miss it. The owner is a real nice guy. This is a great store. It carries all my favorite hobbies; magic the gathering, warhammer 40k, and dungeons and dragons. If they don't have it, the store will order it for you. The staff was very informative and courteous. The store also plays the games there also, and had a nice group of gamers playing when I was there last. read more
