The splotchy finish on the front facade of my house (which Derrick said I wouldn't notice after a couple months but is still glaring a year and a half later) is probably the thing that annoys me the most. That's a tough call to make though since my house is covered in gouge marks from their inept power washer. I'll say this - Derrick s a nice guy and their bid was the most competitive, but you definitely get what you pay for and I'm kicking myself for going with Painting Plus. Long story short - their power washer gouged every side of my house. He also washed a recessed doorway without thinking about where the water would drain and flooded my basement, ruining the ceiling. Painting Plus patched the hole in the ceiling but were unable to match the finish and unwilling to repaint the entire ceiling so I'm also left with that to enjoy (and fix with someone better in the future) In the end, I tried to work with Derrick. I told him to come out and see what I was left with and if he felt it was representative of their quality then I'd pay the full price he was asking. The finished product is great and I believe that they learned something about a crew that they may not have known. Despite the original issues, they made an incredible effort and for that I am thankful - a lesser company would have walked away and not taken the time to make things right. If it wasn't for the original issues or if it was solely based on my experience with the owners and KR, I would have left 5 stars. After all was said and done, I am happy with the job that they did. *Original Review* Everything started out great - KR was on time for the appointment for a quote and was very responsive when it came to questions about their services and about pricing. What did not go well was the actual job. When it came to protecting the home and floors from over spray. Paint on the wood floors, paint on the gas fireplace, paint in the grout of the tile, paint on the shower glass, paint on door hinges and plates. They even lost some of the hinges and just hung the doors up without them. They attempted to come to the house and correct some of the issues and literally made it worse by getting espresso paint on our new carpet - we had to have the carpet in that area replaced. They also were supposed to fix a crack in the ceiling and the caulk they put in there lasted for about a week.

As a Colorado resident, our homes need protection from the especially harsh UV sunlight we experience. My wife and I were several years past due in painting our home resulting in a number of issues. We had sun damaged paint, nails falling out of our siding, deep door scratches from our dog, and exposed and cracked wood trim in the soffits and around the windows. Therefore we called 13 painting companies and received 7 bids. Our criteria was simple. We wanted an established company, with local ownership, willing to take the time necessary to repair and paint our home, using quality craftsmanship and materials. We also insisted that all painting quotes include Sherwin William "Emerald Rain Refresh Exterior Acrylic Latex Paint", which as we discovered is the best exterior paint Sherwin Williams makes. Sergio and Juan Francia took the time to explain how they would complete the repairs and stated their preparation work would take their team 2-3 days before they could begin to paint. They also stated they would only use Sherwin Williams Paint, Sherwin Williams 850A (45 year) caulk and Sherwin Williams primer. They fixed our siding, repair damaged wood, caulked all the seams and sealed everything prior to applying paint. True to their word, Sergio, Juan and Jose, transformed our home. They took their time, they wisely recommended that we apply a third coat of paint to get the best end results on the most sun exposed surfaces. They treated our house like it was their own. I am both humbled and appreciative for all they have done for us. I end this with the following advise. Your home is your biggest asset and investment. DO NOT cut corners trying to get it painted or you will end up repainting it time and time again. Please hire professionals who take the time, care and craftsmanship to do it right the first time. My experience with Francia's Painting was top notch in all aspects. Communication was very consistent, pricing was competitive, and their attention to detail was something I've never seen before. My house was certainly not an easy job, because I had damaged and peeling siding which required a ton of prep work but Sergio assured me that him and his team can get the job done with ease and they delivered on their promise. Like any other project there were some complications that occurred but they always went above and beyond to provide the best customer experience. We had him fix two small holes (2 inch diameter) in our wall that occurred during our move. Jonathan was easy to communicate with and came over to give us an estimate. Since we were not paying for it, I wasn't too concerned on the price. That being said, his estimate to repair those two holes and paint was over $600. We ended up going with him out of convenience, but another quote, just to compare, was $250. The work he did is just OK. Scheduling him was another issue. He wanted us to be flexible with him on when he could come do the job, which he defined as small. When I pushed back and told him I am happy to go with someone else, he miraculously had time to do it early the following week. Amazing how that works. We also had him quote us to paint rooms in our home. He quoted around $600, which was a non-starter. We ended up going with someone that could do it for almost half the price, who we know does quality work from neighbor testimonials. All in all, he's a nice guy. But, for the cost of his work, I would encourage you to look elsewhere.

Him and his guys did incredible work and I couldn't be happier with how the home looks now. Dilen is patient, communicative, has fair pricing and is extremely talented. He painted the entire exterior of our home and garage including the trim and some doors and also painted every interior wall. He also helped me by recaulking many of the windows and making sure the lines around the house were clean and polished. This job was not easy- I had him getting different sheens, extremely dark colors, different paint brands and custom mixing paints. We also have a home with a metal beam, three story tall walls and vaulted ceilings. He completed the job exactly how I asked, finished in a timely manner and I couldn't be happier. I cannot recommend Dilen and his company enough. He is now my go-to painter and I will be referring him to all of my friends.

Right when we closed on the home, Ken came in and did prep work that same day. The team spent 4 days covering the entire house in a color of our selection, designed to brighten up the home and make it feel bigger. While Ken made several trips to grab more paint and supplies, we were never charged more than our quoted price. Near the end of the job, Ken offered us painters tape to mark any spots that we wanted him to take another look at. We could tell he took pride in his work and loved what he did. Each time I stopped in to check on them, they were always hard at brush work (listening to quite the selection of music).
