Karen and her crew did such an amazing job! Karen herself came in to do the estimate and was very accurate and gave us the best quote we could find. She was able to fit us into a gap a couple days later and our dream home was transformed from this ugly yellow color to the bright white we always wanted! Her team was very accurate and clean, no spilling, or drops. They were extremely precise and finished our house within a day and a half. My fiancee and I couldn't have been more happy. These people sent a van out to paint my neighbor's house, and parked in front of my house. Children, including mine, play in this area a lot, so large parked vehicles are always a concern...they block kids' visibility to traffic. I asked the painters how long they'd need to be staying, after their ladders showed little regard for the tree providing the van's shade, and responses from the dreadlocked white guy in charge were rude and hostile. "I'll stay as long as I like." OK, legally your right, buddy. I like my neighbor, and I hope he does a good job painting her house, but I won't be using or recommending this company anytime soon. Seriously, I love supporting local business, but it's not that tough to accommodate the neighborhood you're working in. read more

As new transplants to Colorado, we relied upon our realtor's suggested provider list to find a company to help us do some interior painting in our new home. We got estimates from two companies, one of which was Karen's Company. Jeff, Karen's husband and business partner, was great to work with through the estimate process. They gave us quotes for multiple rooms, giving us flexibility on what we would paint on a DIY basis vs what they would paint. This helped immensely when budgeting for the project. Their painters, including Paul and Danielle, were courteous, prompt, trustworthy and engaging. Their work was fantastic and there were no surprises on timing or cost. We couldn't be happier with Karen and her entire team. We will certainly use them the next time we need any painting done. read more

Decent painting job, but Karen wanted an hour of extra pay to remove some tile grout that took my buddy 10 minutes to do. Given my past experience with painting companies, I thought scraping caulk for a bit is just part of any painter's prep work. Also, I wasn't impressed with their sales technique of bidding really high; and when I didn't call back for a few days, they called and lowered the estimate by almost 30%! read more

I didn't actually hire Karen's company - my neighbors did. Karen's painters saw that the company I had hired to paint my home's exterior had missed a big patch above the garage. They also offered to paint that part themselves free of charge, which they did. It was just a really nice thing to do and I'm grateful for it. read more

Karen's Company did an awesome job with our deck staining! It's so beautiful now. The staff were all very helpful and attentive, and most importantly, very skilled and knowledgeable. I did not have a very good experience with Jillian and Karen, as far as customer service was concerned. So I was a little uneasy with the decision I made to hire them. However, Amy and her crew changed my whole experience. She was wonderful! Kind and knowledgeable. They went above the call of duty and helped me with some painting that I couldn't do myself. They also were awesome enough to finish the job in one day. They did bend my brand new light fixture and they were supposed to come look at it. So far they have rescheduled on me 3 times to come out and look. read more

We've had Karen's Company do several jobs for us, both inside and outside our home. First job was inside a few years ago - essentially our entire first floor including living room, dining room, kitchen and family room. We had a pretty good idea of colors, but Karen helped us match them in her recommended paint brand and offered some great ideas for a faux finish in the dining room. She also took one look at our front door and recommended restaining! The contract was very specific about standards for quality and finishing. Once started, the work was of excellent quality and the team was very conscientious about the punch list. Just recently we had Karen's Company back to restaining our fence, border timbers and deck stairs. Again the stain was of good quality and the work was excellent. The team was even cheerful as they worked! Not sure Karen's will be your cheapest price but you get what you pay for and the value is definitely there. We highly recommend Karen's Company! read more

Karen's Company charges way too much. She charges $48/hour for inexperienced "trainee" painters whom she pays only $12.50/hour. You are better off hiring an experienced professional painter. I was quite unhappy with the poor, sloppy job her "trainees" did. Never Again would I call Karen's Company. I spread the word throughout my HOA and invited people to see for themselves the poor quality work. read more

Only average painting, but way overpriced painting and majorly flawed. True, they were able to paint my second floor in one day, but there they left blue specks of paint on my white walls (think Jackson pollock) and blue paint on my light fixtures (which they reinstalled upside down, which I had to fix myself). The worst part was that the 'professionals' listened to very very graphic violent rap the whole time. I love hip hop and I listen to rap and this was the grosest stuff I've ever heard. They talked loudly about all the drugs they did at some party the night before. No consideration for the person's house they were at. I hired this company because it is supposedly owned by a woman and yet the workers (probably weren't paid as employees) did not reflect any sort of respect toward women based on their graphic music and graphic party stories they didn't hesistate to brag about in front of the female owner of the house. In the future I would find another company. read more

Fantastic experience from start to finish! Karen is incredibly detailed and thorough. She was very patient, as our project hit some delays, but she was accommodating to our changing schedule. Her crew is top-notch! So professional and just enjoyable people to have in your home. I wouldn't use anyone else for my house painting now that I've found Karen's. They were on time every day, got the job done in the time they said, cleaned up at the end of every day, and did a walk through upon completion. We have used them in the past and were pleased with the results. So when we moved into our new home we called them again for an estimate. Karen usually does the estimates but this time her husband was the one we dealt with. He said he'd email us within a week to let us know what the price would be but after a week and a half I had to call him. He apologized and said to expect his email within a couple hours...that was two weeks ago. Very unfortunate too because customer service was always excellent when we were dealing with Karen. read more
