I am hopeful that my experience is an anomaly, but the way this company treats their customers is not ideal. To even get ahold of anyone here, you need to call an "answering center" that only takes your info and says the "office will call you back". The office ignored most of my calls after I became a customer. After waiting a couple days (although I made it clear the item was urgent), the exterminator comes out and does a shady job. They were late, never called when on the way (as promised), and they did not exterminate properly and thoroughly. The exterminator seemed to be a novice that was unable to answer any questions. Following this, they said the issue will be mostly resolved in a few days. A week later, the issue was not resolved... it was back to square one. After multiple non returned calls, and repeated false information, I am finally told they'll come back (8 days later). During that trip, the exterminator failed to call day of and de-prioritized the work. He ended up being hours late, then 45 mins to the last promised time... and then NEVER showed up. This is after multiple false statements made via phone. I would not recommend this company. They've caused costly construction delays, stress, and treated myself and my partners with complete disrespect.

They then suggested a retreatment date nearly 60 days lafter initial treatment- not a satisfactory resolution for my situation. I believe clear communication and timely follow-through are essential when dealing with pest problems, and unfortunately, that was not my experience.

They were not able to find the source of the problem. Then, I reached out to the Optimum. They sent a technician within 5 days for a free-of-charge inspection. He was very knowledgeable and could find the source of the problem within 10 minutes. He also confirmed it was limited to one room. I needed help moving the furniture around, and the technician took care of it. The treatment provided by Optimum got rid of the bed bugs. I had a problem with spiderwebs everywhere and other outdoor bugs. I signed up for the outdoor treatment twice a year. The first one was done late fall, and so far, I don't see any bugs or spiderwebs.

When we called to try to reach some sort of resolution, the owner, Don, was completely unprofessional. He began swearing, completely unprovoked, and said a series of things (including that our house was 'sh*tty'). What was interesting was that he said these things without ever having seen our house or any pictures/descriptions of the damage that was done to it. Our house is actually very upscale, so it was very telling on character to have the owner not only swearing at me, but also insulting my home, when I'd called over a repair that probably would have taken 15 minutes. To add insult to injury, the spray itself didn't work. We still have wasp nests and carpenter bees. Don (again, the owner) ended up having his lawyer send me a really nasty note that was laughable- I went to Law school, and the idea that the company that damaged my home was going to somehow take action against me truly made me laugh. I am sure it was one of Don's friends acting as a lawyer, and underestimating the intelligence of whom he was talking to. We ended up being stuck paying for the damage out of pocket, and the bee repellent that did the damage never worked. We never received an apology for the vile words that he said to me; it was an experience I can only describe as gross. I would stay far, far away from this company. What's interesting is that it's now 2026, and I still see complaints about them going up on Facebook within the community. It surprises me that they are still in business.

I was talked into the enhanced program which included "everything ". After numerous call backs in fact as early as this week I am sitting in my cabana swatting bees and stink bugs. The guy that came out had no idea of my service agreement and asked where the issue was. I told him the entire house, deck and cabana. He sprayed everywhere including spraying all my windows which are now all spotted. I had painters at my house yesterday doing exterior work and one of the guys got stung by a bee. I would be careful going with this company. Also I understand they were bought by a Binghamton company which is another red flag. They claim senior and military discount which I got neither. Not a good company.
