I called Scott because I had yellow jackets that had made a home in the ducting for my cooktop vent in the kitchen. It turns out that the old flap that is supposed to seal shut when the vent is not being used is no longer closing all of the way and that is where the yellowjackets were getting in. Scott came out to my house 2 days after I called him to take care of the problem. He called me ahead of time to tell me that he was on his way and he is very friendly. When he got to my house Scott noticed that I have a lot of trees, and even though he came out for yellow jackets, he checked all of my trees to see if there were any ant infestations on them. He didn't see anything at the time so he got his gear on and started treating my house. Scott didn't just treat my problem and leave. He sprayed down the entire outside of my house to help with any other creepy crawlies that I just may not have noticed or experienced yet. He then went back to my vent access and sprayed that area specifically with a different treatment. When he was all done and writing up the paperwork for this visit Scott spotted ants crawling along the tree he had parked next to. Scott took some gear back out of his truck and treated my tree for ants. It hadn't even been 24 hours since Scott had sprayed my house and cooktop vent when I noticed that all of the buzzing had stopped. Whatever Scott used worked wonders. As he suggested, I left the vent alone for a couple of days in case there were any stragglers that weren't in the immediate area when Scott sprayed. About 4 days later I went out and took preventative measures to hopefully keep something like this from happening again, but if I ever have another problem with invasive insects, I know exactly who I will call.
