When I called to schedule the service, I was told it would not be an issue. I paid $415 expecting professional, effective removal. What followed was a frustrating, ineffective, and misleading experience: The first technician walked around my house but did not spray the actual nest. The nest continued to grow. I requested a follow-up, specifically noting the need for a ladder to reach the nest near the roof's peak. Two weeks later, a tech returned--without a ladder. Still, I insisted he spray again and watched him do it. Wasps returned again shortly afterward. I informed Orkin that the underlying issue--a gap in the masonry--needed to be sealed to prevent the wasps from coming back. At first, they said this would not be a problem. Then, they quoted me an extra $1,500 for a scissor lift rental, despite initially promising comprehensive service. When I questioned the added cost, I was told it was because the nest was "too high." This height limitation was never mentioned during scheduling or on their website. After nearly 1.5 months, I still have an active wasp nest above my child's room. If you want transparency, follow-through, and actual pest resolution, look elsewhere. Orkin failed on every level. They told us during the first inspection that they found mice in the attic and basement when it is only a 1.5 year old house. They set up traps and we paid for them to seal up holes. The traps never found anything... Fast forward to last week when they showed up unannounced to check the status of the attic with the mice. They told us the problem was now worse and we needed to completely replace our insulation and were trying to charge us $10,000!! (This was after their "discount" off of $13,000). We've have 2 other pest companies come and inspect since and none of them have found ANY signs that there have EVER been mice. I asked them if they saw the holes that Orkin showed us picture of. The only holes they found they said were clearly made by HUMANS. No holes from mice whatsoever.

I am hopeful that my experience is an anomaly, but the way this company treats their customers is not ideal. To even get ahold of anyone here, you need to call an "answering center" that only takes your info and says the "office will call you back". The office ignored most of my calls after I became a customer. After waiting a couple days (although I made it clear the item was urgent), the exterminator comes out and does a shady job. They were late, never called when on the way (as promised), and they did not exterminate properly and thoroughly. The exterminator seemed to be a novice that was unable to answer any questions. Following this, they said the issue will be mostly resolved in a few days. A week later, the issue was not resolved... it was back to square one. After multiple non returned calls, and repeated false information, I am finally told they'll come back (8 days later). During that trip, the exterminator failed to call day of and de-prioritized the work. He ended up being hours late, then 45 mins to the last promised time... and then NEVER showed up. This is after multiple false statements made via phone. I would not recommend this company. They've caused costly construction delays, stress, and treated myself and my partners with complete disrespect.

He inspected the entire home and baited many areas. He also baited the outside to get the mice before they entered. He did an inspection to see if there were spaces where the mice could squeeze through. The spaces were sealed. We are totally satisfied with Target.. Mike did a great job and we will refer target to anyone who needs their wide range of exterminating services.
