He promised to mail to my home address an itemized bill for the session so I could claim insurance reimbursement. He has not sent me that bill despite my 2 emails to him requesting that bill. Nor has he replied to my emails. I Have also called him twice with no responses.Unless I hear from him soon I will not meet with him again. He is non responsive at best. If I get the bill soon I will modify this review. As of April 3 I have not received a bill. I Have terminated my relationship with the MD.

The resulting costs is to be an 80/20 split with patient cost of course 20%. The problem comes in if they (provider) exceed the Schedule Of Benefits as outlined by the insurance company, and they routinely do (it's all about profit). They start services BEFORE the insurance has fully verified coverages. This is where the problem comes in. The insurance responds to the submission that something isn't covered for whatever reason, they're not covering xyz, and Loudoun Periodontics tells you "oh, the insurance didn't cover this because..." and want you to pay the outstanding claim. I'm going through this exact scenario. My total bill was $2684, my cost $659.80. After services were rendered, they submitted to the insurance company (I thought they had a pre approval) the insurance denied the claim stating they performed a service they can only perform every 2 years, and it's only been 1.5 years. Now they want me to pay the entire $2600! Stay away from this group. You have been warned!

I had recently relocated from California where I had always had access to the most excellent chiropractic care so I was searching for a new provider. Even the one chiropractor that I had been to in the past, during my extended visits to Virginia, decided that I was a little bit too medically risky. This is from a very well-known big thriving practice in Fairfax, Virginia, and they essentially turned their back on me. They wanted to refer me to a surgeon. So I checked out some other places, including the franchise called the joint and they wouldn't touch me. Well, I might need surgery at some point in the future. I didn't believe that I needed it then I just needed a basic adjustment. And that brings me back to Fatima, who graciously accepted me into her practice and has continued to give me excellent care on every visit.
