I contact the Drs after leaving with follow up questions before I decide if surgery is best. No response. I later get a bill for her to look in my ear. I really think their goal is to just get money. I will not go back. You feel like you just a $ Sign and they want to just get money. Hence why they over book and extra charge you. Do not recommend.

I told her that I could come now but she said the might not have time for me. We made an appointment prior and then got the run around... this is the second time we have had issue with scheduling at this office. My daughter and my son both had a stomach virus and couldn't keep anything down so I called the office and notified them and asked if I could come and They said they were unable to see us so they rescheduled us. Later on I found out that the front desk had put in the system that we are a no show for that day. So when I was heading to our rescheduled appointment, I called to confirm the appointment, I was told my appointment is on another day - weird, but fine. I then showed up that day and was told our appointment was in fact the day I called in and not today.... They are so disorganized here and are not open to accommodating their clients. They wasted so much of my time and my kids both suffered while waiting to see a doctor.

I go to Advanced ENT Specialists and Advanced ENT FYZICAL Therapy for my defective hearing…read moredisorders. I started therapy there since 2021 and I've always gotten a lot of improvement. Both the ENT Specialists and ENT Therapist are at the same location, which is very convenient. I have a few conditions so different tests had to be done and vestibular therapy was prescribed. It really works! I think they have a super team of experts that work together very well. I've had issues with my hearing, tinnitus and imbalance for over 40 years and was never able to get a correct diagnosis from other Doctors I went to until now. Everyone at Advanced ENT is very caring, concerned and professional. Their ENT Fyzical therapy is definitely a big plus for me. It gets rid of pain, I have less dizziness and I can stand longer and walk better than before. They also prescribed a personalized Home Exercise Program (HEP) for me that is really helpful in between therapy sessions and appointments. I highly recommend them to everyone. M.A.

Extremely disappointing experience…read more After being a patient there for six months, I unexpectedly received a bill. I have no issue paying for services rendered, but I would have appreciated receiving statements along the way instead of one large bill at the end. When I requested a detailed bill so I could submit it to my insurance company, I was told the office does not handle billing directly and that I needed to call an 1-866 number. I left at least ten voicemails. Each time, I was told someone would return my call within two days. I never received a single callback. I then went back to the office in person to request a detailed charge history. I was told I needed to speak with the office manager. After leaving her several messages with no response, I returned again and was told she was in a conference call. On my most recent visit, when I tried to speak with her directly, she refused and shut the door to avoid the conversation. This is a facility I trusted with my medical care. The complete lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism has left me feeling extremely disappointed and disrespected. I will not be returning and would strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

She had great bedside manner and took care of him rapidly. He paid a $40 copay in office. Then were were surprised with a $110 additional balance as a SURGERY COPAY! So the visit's total copay was $150. Which they collected in two separate payments. For a minor cauterization!? Ridiculous. Also they use a third party billing service (Privia) that is confusing. Privia has continued to send us texts and bills after we mailed a check directly to the doctor's office. We even called to confirm the check had been received and our account was at zero. Unbelievable inconvenience to not be able to call the office directly to resolve such a quick question. How we wish we could still see Dr. Michael Mellis ENT, but he no longer does cauterizations and only deals with pediatric patients now.

Once I discovered he would need a little extra time in the bathroom, I kept running back to the waiting room to see if we had been called and to check in with the receptionist. I did this TWICE. I come back with my son to find out Himler has taken the NEXT patient. At this point I had waited over 40 minutes for her, yet she couldn't give me TWO minutes to take my son to the bathroom. The receptionist and other waiting patients told Himler we were there, but just in the bathroom. She ignored them and was with the "next" patient for over an hour. When my son was finally called in, she acted like nothing was wrong. It was now 4:10! When I confronted her, she claimed not only the receptionist, but the patients (strangers to me!) had not told her anything. Oh ok sure, yes like a stranger would just make up the fact they told you me and my son were in the bathroom. What a nice bold face lie in front of my 5 year old son, Dr Himler. The front staff said this was not the first time she had done this (ignoring the receptionist as to who is there and checked in). There aren't that many providers for deaf and hard of hearing kids, so this is extremely disheartening. And it feels like they are gaslighting you by trying to tell you you'll get better care because of it. I get that insurance providers are awful, but to cut your patients off from care is heartbreaking.

My sons areas of concern are a phonological disorder, language disorder, and motor planning issues/borderline childhood apraxia. Pooja and Katie are outstanding...they are extremely knowledgeable, passionate about what they do, and are extremely gifted with kids.
