The installation resulted in gaps under the tiles, misaligned tiles, grout lines that are a different width than the adjacent porcelain tiles, tiles that are chipped from leveling clips, and a transition that is a trip hazard. Seacoast Flooring has not been responding to any communications. Complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's Office. After 30 years of wear and tear, scuffing, bleach-spilling, piano-scratching, hand-sanding, mopping, etc., we have what looks like a whole new floor. I was extremely cost-conscious, so I got quotes from at least 3 other companies. Sam Floor Sanding gave me the best price, which was $500 less than the highest bid! Amazing. They are efficient, don't leave a mess, and are extremely polite. You'll have to get someone else to move your furniture, but at the affordable price they charge, you'll have extra money to have someone else do it. They gave my Mom's home a whole new look with that new floor. Now, I'll work around their quality to make the rest of the house match it! I'll post the photos once everything dries!

We couldn't move in without any floors! We spoke with another provider but they were going to charge us 6$/sqft of prefinished flooring which seemed unreasonable to say the least. I called Dung at 6pm at night not expecting much especially considering I'd had such poor experiences with other contractors. Well, I was really surprised. He was extremely communicative and we set up an appointment to get an estimate. He and his team showed up to that appointment on time and were very kind, respectful, and knowledgable. They were able to give me an estimate during the visit itself, and that estimate was spot on (and wayyyy more reasonable than either of the other two contractors we'd worked with). Actually, they finished a day and a half early!!!!!! 4 rooms took them only a day and half to do, and the job they did is a quality job. They even cleaned up afterwards. But best of all, Dung was consistently communicative over text and answered any questions I had really quickly. Also, they SHOWED UP ON TIME. That is so rare. Keep up the great work, Sam Floor! Jamie from Custom Concrete of Maine was definitely the right person for the job. He replied to my online inquiry and came to the house to check out the project within 24 hrs. He gave me a detailed cost estimate before he even left the house. The next day, he worked a 10+ hr day and completed the project. He communicated clearly with me about the extent of the work; he told me when to expect him at the house; and he gave me project updates along the way. Based on my experience with other concrete contractors in the area, Jamie's rates are very reasonable. In the end I was happy with the repaired floor. He's one of the good ones and I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again!

The grout was defective or mixed incorrectly. The grout could not be cleaned and started falling out after a few months. I tried working with Chris for weeks and weeks without any success hoping he would review and recommend a fix and take care or the issue. ( likely just redoing the grout) Chris and Quality floors were not professional enough to even stop by to inspect the problem. I strongly recommend using a different company.
