I had micro-needling done on my face for large pores, acne scars and wrinkles. After just one treatment I can tell a tremendous difference! Especially a few days out. My face feels softer and smoother. My pores appear smaller and it even helped my dryness. I also noticed that my skincare products seem to work better, including my moisturizer! Let's just say I should have at least gotten half off my Brazilian extended. After seeing some results, I decided to get my legs done, which the technician/manager talked me into getting a WHOLE other package bc it was "a better deal" for me. (my fault on thinking she was actually trying to save me money)! After my FIRST treatment on my legs, she burned me. Bad! This was over a year ago and there are still dark circles all over my legs.. it looked as though an octopus had wrapped around my leg and left suction marks all over. After telling me that she needed pictures and needed to make an incident report, I never heard from the doctor touching base with how my burns were. I took pictures daily and sent them to her. After she was "let go" (way after the incident) the new technician had no idea of anything, there was nothing filed.. I understand that there are "risks" to having laser hair removal, but I Definitely wasnt told anything about having permanent damage!.. another incident, to add to the list, I had an appointment set up, and when I showed up she told me we would have to reschedule because their files were showing I hadn't made a payment in months!! Which I then went to my bank to get a print out of proof, so they wouldnt overcharge me some more. They never have the same staff and you will always be going through the awkward just meeting someone who is about to see you naked feeling when you go. I haven't went back since, and I still haven't heard anything from them. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. I will be posting pictures

Mi experiencia fue increíblemente mala y escandalosa para cualquier lugar que se hace pasar por una clínica. La primera vez que quise hacerme el examen físico, me dijeron que no podía porque tenía el apellido de mi esposo en los documentos pero no en las identificaciones. Me dijeron que regresara con el certificado de matrimonio original. Aunque había perdido tiempo y gasolina, entendí su posición. Esta vez, sin embargo, me dijeron que no podía hacerme el examen NI SIQUIERA CON el certificado de matrimonio porque tenía que usar lo que estaba en mi licencia. Dijeron que solo tenía mi apellido de soltera en el certificado de matrimonio como si alguien en la historia de la humanidad se hubiera casado CON su nombre ya cambiado. La estupidez es simplemente asombrosa. Luego me dijeron que tendría que esperar el último decreto final del Dr. Uy sobre el asunto y que tendría que esperar una hora y media. Sin mencionar la actitud que tuvo la recepcionista durante el intercambio; debería haberme ido en ese momento. Cuando volví después de una hora y media, el buen doctor todavía no había regresado. La recepcionista tuvo la brillante idea de llamar al gerente, quien básicamente le dijo que podía tener mi nombre de casada en el papeleo. Uno se pregunta por qué no llamaron al gerente hace una hora y media, pero supongo que el sentido común no es algo que abunde en este establecimiento. Cuando todo estuvo dicho y hecho y había esperado cerca de 2 horas y 15 minutos, me llevaron y me pusieron en una habitación donde se realizarían mis análisis de laboratorio. Después de que me pincharan un total de 6 veces con 3 personas diferentes, todavía no había sangre. Decidí pedir un reembolso. Un día completo perdido cuando tuve que tomarme un día libre por motivos personales. No puede tener un personal que no esté bien informado, sea grosero E ineficiente. Como mínimo, elija dos de tres. I am new to the Amarillo area (from Washington) and was looking to find a local Med Spa, mainly for Botox. After doing some research online, I discovered that Awaken Med Spa was close by and had good consumer reviews overall, so I went ahead and booked an appointment. On the day of my appointment I checked in and was brought to a waiting room. Briefly after, I was greeted and led back to a treatment room by Kati, an NP, who is also the owner of the spa. We discussed the treatment plan for Botox injections in the common areas, (forehead, crow's feet and between the brow). Everything seemed to be going fine until she began working on my crow's feet area and nearly injected into my upper cheek. I have had Botox injections a handful of times and I had never had an esthetician make that low of an injection for crow's feet. This was also my first experience of having the esthetician jump right into doing injections without marking the desired injection locations prior. Despite feeling uneasy about it, I trusted that she knew what she was doing with her 12 years of experience, per the Awaken Med Spa webpage. After just 2 days I began to notice dimple-like impressions (as if someone were pinching my cheeks) underneath my eyes in the areas that were injected near my cheeks, if not into my actual cheek muscle. These areas had also begun to pull on the skin under my eyes to cause prominent horizontal skin folds. I called to make a follow up appointment and initially I was told that I need to wait a total of 10-14 days. I called back voicing my concerns and was able to set an appointment for that coming Monday. I felt reassured that I would soon be able to address my legitimate concerns/dissatisfaction, for which I was hopeful there would be a resolution. Monday came and I arrived for my follow up. Once in the treatment room, I showed Kati the depressions under my eyes. At first, she responded as though she had no idea what I was talking about. She even commented "I wish my Botox would look like yours." I expressed my (justified) insecurity and dissatisfaction with the way that the Botox had made my under eyes look and her 'solution' was to just let it wear off in three months. No empathy. No ownership of her miscalculated injections. No additional treatment offered. No discount. No refund. Nothing. I was not happy with that 'solution', so she agreed to put 0.5 units on each side of the dimples which made no difference. I understand that even people who are experts at what they do can sometimes make mistakes. However, I am very displeased with the lack of effort to rectify my warranted concerns. I feel incredibly insecure with the way that I look right as of result of these shoddy Botox injections, especially when I smile. If I could leave zero stars I would. I will not be back.
