I requested a Verification of Deposits -- a standard document I've received from this same branch before -- and she insisted that such a document didn't exist. I even showed her the copy I received on March 30, 2026, yet she still struggled to locate it and seemed irritated throughout the interaction. What makes this even more frustrating is that I've been served by other employees at the McGuinness branch in the past, and they were always polite, helpful, and professional. This experience was completely out of line with the service I'm used to receiving there. As I was leaving, she suddenly said she would print the document "no problem," but by then I had already decided to go to the Greenpoint Avenue branch instead. It was processed without a hitch this time! Little did I know there would another call with yet another set of "security questions" to answer before they would process! I found this out only after 6 days of the closing request when I noticed funds had not been transferred. The customer service is non-existent at this bank and they are haughty and do everything possible to make their customers' life miserable. Do not use this bank or you are begging for hell!
