I enjoyed this place! I got a gel French tip manicure and it turned out nicely! Pedicure was a pedicure. Prices are very fair!

Uneven acrylic on nails.

The only good I have to say about this salon is the way my pedicure turned out. If you need a pedicure, ask for Christina! As far as my acrylic full set, I think this is probably the worst and most expensive set I've gotten. My full set was $75 and they couldn't even apply the acrylic correctly or evenly. Not to mention that I asked for coffin (was charged an extra $5) and my nails look lopsided, was hurt by the tech MULTIPLE times, and was just uncomfortable by the service in general. At the end of the service, I noticed how much my final bill was and I was completely shocked after the horrible job and experience. I asked the front manager or whatever she wants to call herself for the receipt, and she mumbled under her breath when I asked. What's the point of that? I'm sure she would be upset too if she got a horrible full set and had to pay the amount I paid. Worst part about it is that I felt like I was being pushed out because they were so close to closing so there was no room and/or time for anything to be fixed. Now the other low reviews make sense. Avoid coming here if you need an acrylic full set.

Update: the dip manicure that wasn't cheap has not even lasted 3 days. I will not be back.

This new and conveniently located salon is absolutely gorgeous inside, with a high end ambiance and super friendly staff. I have been here a few times for gel on my natural nails, pedicures, as well as acrylic full sets and fills. While the pedicure results are fine, for the price point I wish they would make it more of a spa experience, as they don't really do much callous removal and the massage was more of just smoothing lotion on for a minute. The last couple of times I had a gel manicure, the gel looks uneven and I can see the variation in saturation even after 3 coats. They started chipping after 4 days. My 10 year old daughter received a gel manicure, clear with a small stripe of color on the tips. They charged $18 for a child manicure, $20 for gel add-on, and $15 for design. For $53 before tip, her tiny nails took all of 10 minutes to complete. While I understand that service add-ons are set, I think they should perhaps be at lower prices and rise as needed or lower for children/simple design. So really, my only complaint is the price point is not worth the quality of service being provided. I will probably give them another shot once they become more established and hopefully will be pleasantly surprised, but until then I will go to my less upscale salon and enjoy long-lasting polish, extended massages, and half the price point.

Second polish job chipped right away too.

This owner is clearly unwell, who would do something like that. Tech did not spend 20-25 minutes. It was a 10 minute service. Even she said as I was checking out that I should just be billed for a polish change. The tech filed 2 nails for 30 seconds. I scheduled and came in for a polish change which they told me would take 10 minutes and it did. owner insisted afterwards that i pay for a mini manicure which i did not receive per the tech who confirmed verbally with the check out clerk. no massage. no filing and buffing. no lotion, no cutting of cuticles. $33 for a polish change seems excessive and greedy. make sure you get pricing up front from them. aesthetics and interior design very low end, looks cheap and sloppily put together. I tipped the tech $10 on venmo because I do not trust the owner to give the tip to the tech. When I asked them to call the owner back to confirm I was being charged for a service I didn't receive, the owner didn't pick up nor text her worker back. After waiting for 10 minutes I just paid so I could leave. Not a good way to run a business.

I came in with almond shape and just asked to have them shorter, but the same shape. Every time they did it, the shape was not almond, the nails were not even in length, and all around, they could not get them right. The gel application was also poor quality, once it was so thick it looked like plastic and I had to push them to redo it for free, another time it started to peal after 3 days. When you pay a lot of money for a gel manicure, I expect a great outcome. I'm sure they have technicians who know what they are doing, but I want to come in, relax, and get a great manicure.

Let's begin with a confession…read more I am a grown man who gets pedicures. I refer to the process, affectionately, as "sanding my hooves." Now before the men reading this clutch their masculinity like a fragile heirloom, let me explain something. At a certain point in life you must confront the reality that the feet you've been ignoring for decades are attached to the rest of you. And if you live in Colorado, those feet are eventually going to end up in flip flops or sandals. Enter Etoile Salon, where professional technicians transform what can only be described as feral hiking hooves into respectable human feet again. They truly are superb. Gentle, focused, and extremely professional. No rushing, no chaos. Just skilled people quietly performing the miracle of turning your feet back into something you wouldn't be ashamed to parade around town. For the record, I usually go with The Classic Etoile Pedicure. 35 minutes, $50. It's the perfect amount of time for someone to politely and methodically restore order to your feet while you sit there contemplating life choices. There are also plenty of add-ons if you want. Scrubs, treatments, upgrades. The spa equivalent of "would you like fries with that?" Then something unexpected happened. I started adding color. At first it was tentative black. You know...safe. Masculine. The gateway color. Then came money green. A little flash. A little attitude. Fiscally responsible. And most recently...royal purple. If this continues, by summer I fully expect to be sitting in that chair calmly selecting something called "cosmic mermaid chrome." The owner, Nara, is an absolute rock star. She's been in the industry for nearly two decades and that makes you realize the person working on your feet knows far more about taking care of them than you ever will. But credentials aside, what really stands out is how she runs the place. Nara has mastered the rare hospitality skill of making every customer feel like a longtime regular. People walk in and greet her like family, and she somehow manages to keep everything running smoothly while making sure everyone feels welcomed and relaxed. Which makes sense, because the entire vibe of the salon is calm and comfortable, not rushed. A logistical tip: they get slammed early on weekends. My last appointment was 1pm on a Saturday and it was practically serene. Six chairs, three customers, zero chaos. Now here's the part that tells you everything you need to know. I live in Cherry Creek, which has roughly one nail salon per block. I could walk to several of them while holding an Americano and pretending I'm productive. Instead, I drive 15 minutes to Etoile. Because when someone is responsible for maintaining your toenails, you develop loyalty. So gentlemen, if you've been avoiding pedicures because you think it's not your thing, let me offer a perspective. You maintain your car. You service your HVAC. You sharpen your kitchen knives. Why would you ignore the two things that literally take you everywhere? Go get your hooves sanded. And if you're feeling bold, try royal purple. It's surprisingly empowering.

The first time (first two pics) I got a french tip and the second time I wanted a more nude and rounder look with the french tip aaaaannnddd two of my nails previously broke. Amka used a hard gel to fix my broken nails and also used a mix of really pretty colors to get the specific color I wanted. Her rounded tip is really well done and so pretty!! I made the mistake of going to a different nail salon and regretted it soooo bad that I came back to Etoile and they fixed everything They also give you tea, coffee or water if you'd like. The place is really pretty! I'm going to keep coming back here.

Recently, I got an acrylic nail set there for a decent price, but the application was horrible. They damaged my nail beds with the binder they used, and I ended up having one of the worst allergic reactions I've ever experienced (which is strange because I get my nails done often). Despite this, he continued working on my nails and insisted that nothing was wrong. Overall, the atmosphere turned sour very quickly. The male technician working on my nails was also LICKING the tip of the Q-tip while applying the gel. On top of that, the gel they used stained my nails GREEN even though it was supposed to be black. When I asked him not to lick the Q-tip while applying the gel, he glared at me and had someone else take over. I eventually had to get my nails removed at another salon because my nail beds were so swollen that I couldn't soak them off at home, and I was terrified to go back. I hope they replace that technician ASAP, and I will be filing a complaint with the health department.
