Carlos was wonderful!! We witnessed his work a couple years ago when they photographed our friends wedding. When we booked with Carlos it was so easy. We told him what we wanted and he created a picture package for us. Carlos met with us at our venue about a month away from the big day and went over all the places we (planned) on taking photos. On our wedding day Carlos was there promptly at 1pm, I wasn't even there yet, he got started taking all the little detail shots until arrived. It was pouring rain for most of our wedding day so Carlos really had to get creative, all our photos had to be inside the same room because of the weather. 3 weeks later now and Carlos emailed us the link to our private galleria last night. They're perfect! I love them all! It's so nice to have the online gallery to be able to share with people. Yes, that is my wife and I as his current default business photo ;) I met Carlos originally because he had bought a couple cars from a previous co-worker of mine and he ended up also being the photographer for his wedding back in September 2013. My wife and I later hired him as our wedding photographer for our wedding in March 2015 because his photos were amazing and he is genuinely such a nice guy. He came to my work for me to sign his contract, and was okay with us paying him once every 3 months instead of all of it at the end. Wedding day came and went! Of course, it rained... but thankfully I had bought some umbrellas at Target earlier that morning and he was able to use them to protect his camera and take some shots even if it was nearly pouring outside. Our photos came out stunning and we've been able to put a few of them up in our home! For an event that means so much to so many, a great photographer with reasonable prices and good communication can be hard and sometimes stressful to find. Our wedding was June 29, 2013. It has taken me a while to muster up the words to express how sad and disappointing our experiences were with this vendor. He did not complete the stipulations as stated on our contract. We paid for two photographers to be there for 8 hours and he sent the second one home immediately after the ceremony. We did not get any pictures from our cocktail hour nor did we get many pictures from our reception. Next, our wedding video was sub par. He provided us with an edited version of our day that did not include many of the special events of the wedding which included the father daughter dance, mother son dance, cocktail hour. When we requested to see the raw unedited video. We did not receive it in the mail as promised. He sent a second edited video. When at last we did receive the raw footage, it totaled one hour of our 8 hour special day. Most of the video was of my husband getting married. The ceremony had no sound! Many important parts were out of focus. After watching the video I completely fell into tears! I couldn't believe that I was unable to see the most special and important day of my life. It was as if he did not understand the importance of shooting certain events during the wedding. When I emailed him about my sadness and disappointment, he was unwilling to work something out. He did not take responsibility for what had occurred. I filed suit against this vendor and won. I would not recommend this vendor at all due to not following the contract, not understanding what is important during a wedding, and an unwillingness to take responsibility for his mistakes. read more
