I left a review on Google and the owner accused me of writing a fake review, and I checked and it wasn't visible on their Google page at all anymore. These are concerning business practices. My husband booked me a massage at this spa. I received a massage from the large male masseuse Jeff and it was atrocious and excruciating. I kept asking for lighter pressure and the masseuse basically ignored me and refused to listen because then it wouldn't be "deep tissue". I was in tears most of the massage and it felt like the longest 90 minutes and I should've just walked out but how do you when you're in that vulnerable state! Here is proof I was indeed seen by this Jeff sir. I do sincerely hope they hire better massage therapists. A client should never leave what should be a relaxing experience traumatized and in tears from 90 minutes of torture. read more

Dylan is more than a massage therapist. He is an exceptional body worker, health specialist, and knowledgeable practitioner. This was by far the most painful, and in-depth deep tissue massage I've ever had. Dylan took the 1st 15 minutes of our session to really get to know me and my issues so he could properly address them during the session. And instead of cutting our hour session short, he made sure I got the full 60 minutes. By no means is a massage from Dylan for the faint of heart, he definitely heard some choice language from me, but it was worth it for the relief and mobility I experienced after the fact. This is, and will be the only massage studio and therapist I will recommend to anyone looking to take a serious approach to their health. I have been receiving massage from Ben, the owner, bi-weekly for the past few months. I wanted help rehabbing my lower back after an injury a year prior. I tried to make a same day appointment but it's not possible because it does get fill up quickly. Kristin was amazing. She listened to me as I walked in and before my massage. She listen to my story to see where I got hurt and how. She also gave me some tips on how to prevent this injury and suggested some work out routines. After my massage I felt so much better. Had a really strange and uncomfortable experience here. I booked a 90 minute sport massage with Jeff. The first thing that was odd to me is that on arrival, there is no one to greet you. You stand at a run down appearing reception desk in silence by yourself. Once I was taken back into the massage room I immediately noticed makeup stains on the headrest and a grease stain on the bed. I became increasingly uncomfortable, but was also uncomfortable complaining with only myself and the single therapist in the entire office. I am a long distance runner and undergo sports and deep tissue massages with decent regularity - I am aware that some discomfort is to be expected. The pain from this massage was like nothing i have ever felt. There was no communication about pressure, sensitivity, or really anything at all during the entire time on the table. I was near tears and finding it hard to breathe from the pressure and the pain. Finally, after asking for less pressure, with no warning Jeff stopped the massage 30 minutes early and basically shrugged and said "yea I can't do anything for you come back and try a different therapist". This was incredibly unprofessional and took my discomfort up by one more notch. I couldn't leave fast enough and felt even worse than when I walked in the door. At other places, I would consider giving a second chance, but the lack of professionalism and cleanliness made me feel like this place is beyond redemption. read more

Could not talk this place up enough, if you are looking for an amazing massage, just stop this place will work. My gf and I we're here on vacation and we opted for the 100 minute blue water signature couple's massage and this was by far the best massage we've ever had. We've had several massage's before but this made us start to question if we needed to find some better places to go to by the time we were finished. Dylan was able to quickly determine where to target after talking a little bit about my job, lifestyle, etc. He was also very considerate asking if I was alright after noticing that my ankles had started turning red and swelling slightly checking to see if this was some kind of health concern. I would have to say this is one of the top three BEST massages I've ever had in my life! I got the signature massage for 100 minutes, and it went by so fast... I feel so much better. Dillon was really understanding and respectful when I mentioned that I hadn't ever been in any state of undress with any guy except my husband. The area was relaxing and nice. And they had online scheduling and are staffed well enough that you can find a time that works best for you. Dillon was friendly and knowledgable albeit a bit more deep tissue than I could handle. But, he became more gentle when I asked him to take it down a notch. We came here for a therapeutic and deep tissue massage. My therapist was great and I truly enjoyed the therapeutic massage she gave me. She asked a couple times if the pressure was ok, and she paid special attention to areas that were bothering me. For the negative -- I wanted to take a star off for this, but who am I to decide that this warrants a one star deduction..... There was an extremely loud woman holding a lengthy and loud conversation in the room directly next to mine. Her laugh absolutely ruined the tranquility of the massage. I even stopped the massage to ask my therapist if the laugher's conversation could be moved and that's when she said it was actually someone in the room next to us (not in the hallway like I thought) Perhaps asking therapists and patrons alike to keep their voices and laughs to a minimum would provide a better experience for others in the future. read more

Mistee is awesome! We were new to the area and I really needed an Eyelash Fill and Brow Wax. She didn't give me attitude because I didn't pre book an apt weeks in advance --- she gladly worked me in! I had Volume Lashes but we switched them out to a more Natural looking single lash. I'm super happy w the Natural look and have been back for 2 fills and Microblade. To begin: a friend and I went at the same time and we had two separate therapists (I had Ben and she had Dylan-- and she was more than happy with his performance) and I can't think of anything to even complain about. After signing up for a half marathon a few weeks back, I decided to keep my eyes open for a good deal on a massage for the same day to speed up the recovery process from the run. I stumbled across a special for Blue Water Bodywork and I'm extremely happy that I did. It was a $35 for $70 voucher and the prices listed on the website put that at exactly the price ($70) for the 60 minute massage. Already a killer deal. When I went to book an appointment the prices on the scheduling site were a little different, listing $79 for a 90 minute massage. A difference of only $9, I went with the 90 minute massage. Previously I had only ever had 60 minute massages and I was excited for the extension of time. Getting to the location (3900 S and 700 E) was a little tough as a result of the marathon route that was on 3900, but once around that parking was very easy. The massage office - two rooms, was very simple but also an extremely relaxing atmosphere. And then there was the massage! Obviously, I went in for a Deep Tissue/Sports Recovery massage. In the past my massages have ranged from pretty good to pretty week sauce and light. Ben did an excellent job of being very thorough across all the different muscle areas. Very consistent and very broadly pressured massage. I felt great after and my recovery from the half has been very fast, being two days past and at about 95% normal. I don't go in for massages very often, but if I need any more here in Salt Lake, I'll definitely try and make an appointment with him. read more
