been on a bagel binge…read more and that craving did not subside when i landed in zurich. a quick search and this business listing popped up. a manageable walk later, i liked what i saw! a specialist bagel shop with a wide array of craft bagels to choose from and a menu that cater to all inclinations. the menu wall, full of photos and clear descriptions, leads you to the ordering counter with friendly staff behind beckoning. and behind that counter is the bagels wall, choose your poison on display. i initially wanted their pulled pork on onion bagel with a big greek salad and their soup of the day which happened to be a piping pumpkin pot. but their proactive staff was concerned i had over-ordered and suggested that i can make it a meal with a discounted side salad and soup instead. i think it was a perfect call and i went with what they suggested! there were three types of dressings for the side salad and i opted for the more refreshing seeded vinaigrette, collected together with my pumpkin soup whilst they prepared my made to order bagel not long after, the bagel with chips was served to me at my window seat. both indoors and outdoors seatings are available. a pleasant environment, neat and clean with a self help counter for different cutleries and napkins. one sip of the soup, one crunch of the salad and one bite of the bagel later, you will want to come back! all quality ingredients, made from scratch and well balance. definitely well worth the walk over from my hotel! needless to say, i polished it all up as clean as a whistle. a simple tray return setup makes it easy for the next patron as you vacate, followed by easy ingress to clean restroom for those messy eaters! bagelboys for your bagel binge!
