Let me start by saying I've spent countless hours searching the internet from coast to coast for a…read morebreeder that had everything I was looking for. I reached out to about 11 other breeders. If you're searching for a Whoodle raised with love, intention, and the highest standards, that's Moccasin Creek. This breeder, Wendy, is truly exceptional--responsible, compassionate, and deeply committed to the well-being of every dog in their care. She also answered countless questions I had-and quickly. At Moccasin Creek, breeding isn't about numbers! Oh my goodness, some breeders I found have litters constantly with a lot of parent dogs. Maybe too many? While it's nice to have photos shared, and she does,it's not splashed all over Facebook. Her parent dogs are chosen from a select group of healthy, well-tempered dogs, with the goal of raising puppies who will thrive as cherished family members that will be healthy. How do you know this? Embark results are shared so you know what health, allergies, weight,...each parent dog has. She was upfront and shared and gave us all this information. (Not just saying she had results). The puppies are nurtured and socialized from the very beginning, and treated like part of the family until the day you're lucky enough to bring one home. They receive the best possible start in life--physically, emotionally, and socially. They also have the whoodle look, the faces are sweet and almost look like a stuffed animal.

From the owner: Raised on a 60-acre Christmas Tree Farm in Central Wisconsin, our dogs are a part of our family,…read moreand they live with us in our home. We have five children, and we delight in our puppies, so they are guaranteed to be well socialized and loved on right from the start! We take pride in breeding healthy, friendly puppies that will be wonderful family dogs. Check out our web page for information!

Cora would make an amazing dog for anyone without kids, not wanting kids and absolutely no pets. None. Issue 1: I was told it was $150 on the phone. At time of adoption I was told $300. My paperwork was clearly sitting in eye view and said $150. After pointing out I was told it was $150 I was charged $150. Issue 2: Our 10 minute dog meet and greet, 10 minutes...(Cora and our dog went well enough, one lunge incident that we thought was playful, damn were we wrong). Issue 3: During the 2 minute sign here, initial all these spots. I didn't even think about this but....if they give and offer 6 weeks free professional classes offered for "reactivity" why haven't they given Cora this class on there own? Issue 4: No where in Cora's profile did it state: -She food guards... -She toy guards... (Paperwork from prior surrender stated this.) -She even crate guards... --- in home our dog couldn't even walk near the crate while she's in it. Snarled, shows teeth, growls, barks, side eyes, snaps at air, lunges. -Shes biten multiple (not 1) young children according to the documents. Photo attached of document. ***Apparently this facility does not test these things. They're not important things for them to test or disclose up front.*** Issue 5: this baby lost weight in the care of CRHS... She's probably hangry. I clearly just thought, She'll put that back on at my home and dismissed it. Issue 6: only discovered today a week after this review originally posted but this CRHS has a facebook post about Cora that says absolutely NO dogs. This bit of information, I most certainly know they most certainly indeed did steal my money and knew it. *1 Star review because* -The above undisclosed information. -They will not refund (contract) and/or would not pick up Cora and consider my money a donation covering Cora's adoption fees. I gave them both options. -Cora's white ear was disgusting. See photo ****"My precaution: Please do not have kids period or any kind of pet in your home. No cats, no dog(s), nothing that you love.***** Period.
