Absolute 10/10 experience. Very friendly and helpful service in an adorable shop that sells ice cream along with many other cute trinkets. We tried their "ice cream nachos" loved the concept! Choose a scoop of the Vermont Maple and a scoop of the Golddigger - both were delicious!! They had a nice variety of topping and sauce options for the nachos. We always look for ice cream places when we travel. Stopped for a light lunch and decided we needed ice cream too. Probably would not have know just by walking by this was an ice cream shop since it is combined with a cute store as well. Ice cream flavors were a good selection. I always like to try flavors that are typically local for the area. Blueberry and maple were delicious! Flavor was very good, not artificial at all. Prices pretty much in line with other premium ice cream shops. Seating inside is very limited. Definitely would come back again. read more

This was my first visit to Brattleboro, and we had just finished having dinner when we saw the line of people waiting to buy ice cream so we figured we go inside and see what all the fuss was about. I'm glad we did because I felt like I had a real treat here. They had maple nut ice cream. The worker there explained that they get locally sourced seasonal items. It tasted amazing, and I'd gladly get it again. So not only was it great ice cream, but the shop inside is like a cosignment boutique. Some stuff was kinda pricey but other things seemed reasonable considering most shops in downtown Brattleboro are expensive. Grab some ice cream, do some shopping; have a great time! read more

This isn't just about ice cream. There is a whole store of various things from jewelry to kids' clothes & chocolates to beverage coasters. They were pretty busy & the way it's set up makes it hard to get by. The tables & the counter are in front so walking by is hard when people are ordering, so logistically could be better. Other than that this place has all kinds of cute things to buy for yourself or someone else. I'm more a frozen yogurt guy, but I ended up at Blueberry Haus after walking to a Froyo place (that ended up being closed). I don't know much about the place, but everything seems fresh and homemade. I had Cookie Monster in a m&m dipped cone and was super impressed. It was worth the $5 for the small (junior) size. However it appeared that each additional scoop was 50 cents, which is very reasonable. From my brief impression, this is about all you can ask from this type of independent ice cream shop. read more

While vacationing in the area, we had tried the sister location and been amazed by the delicious cheesecake key lime pie flavor. We were actually going to head back after we roamed around the downtown for a bit to pick up some to take home when we turned a corner and found this second location. What luck! It was ice cream fate at work. The shop is lovely. There's a gift shop section (also at the sister location but we didn't go in on that visit) with really nice, quality home made gifts and other baubles. We ended up picking up a bear playing hockey who we named Zook 'Five for Fighting' Bear and he's a treasure. Great price too. We chatted with the woman behind the counter and found out her husband creates all the ice cream flavors. He's a genius! We got a small cheesecake key lime pie in a cup to go and ate it within probably five minutes. We were pigs, I admit it. We almost went back but behaved. If you love interesting, well made flavors then you have to try this place. Even if you don't go with the best flavor ever made aka cheesecake key lime pie, you will find a delicious flavor guaranteed that will make you a fan of the Blueberry Haus! read more

This is a cute little spot to pick up a scoop or two in downtown Brattleboro. There is super convenient parking in the back of the place. Nearby to many restaurants and shops, it's definitely an ideal location. I ordered one scoop of Mississippi mudslide and one of Cookie Monster but they messed up my order (placed over the phone) and gave me only the mudslide flavor. It was good but that misstep is the reason I took one star off the review. The ice cream was rich and creamy and I could tell it was quality. It was just too much of the same flavor to eat two whole (giant) scoops and I ended up throwing half away. Probably best to be there in person when ordering. Definitely curious about the blueberry flavor so I'll likely be back if I'm in the area. read more

Me and my husband went to Vermont for the first time and while we were there we went to this cute little place with our friends, we got our ice cream and sat outside on a beautiful night and the view was gorgeous we saw a Mountain View while eating delicious ice cream.
