I brought my boys here yesterday afternoon and we had a blast. The owner likes you to call first to make sure there are plenty of berries ripe for picking, but he has thousands of bushes so I can't ever imagine that would be a problem. We found a whole area of bushes that hadn't been touched in awhile and filled up our buckets quickly! Cost is $10/gallon and you use the honor system when the owner is not in the office. Just a short drive from Auburn, Blueberry Havens offers a fun way to spend the afternoon. Drive up, say hello to the friendly owner, grab a few buckets and start picking! I went today with my mom and we gathered three buckets' worth of our own-picked and then an extra gallon of the cream of the crop picked by the owner himself. There was a slight drizzle which meant not too hot. The owner recommends you call ahead to make sure there are plenty of ripe berries ready for picking and today was perfect. There is also a collection of Rare & Used books for sale as well as some local honey. Be sure to pick up some great blueberry recipes when you pay. Great for kids! read more

Acres of blueberries, sampling encouraged, very nice berries. Call first, but it's a great way to get high quality blueberries. Wear boots and/or take bug spray. There can be chiggers. There are plenty of berries to be picked. They will pick and deliver, if you arrange it. read more
