We ended up with a giant brownie, a generous slice of sweet potato cake, and two cupcakes - brownie and apple pie flavored. All those items were only an extra $10 and some change. I travel a lot for work and when it came time to do a tasting appointment, I was struggling to find the availability. No problem for Cakeitecture though, I sent my Sister-In-Law in my place and we did a FaceTime consultation while I stood on a job site. When it came time to discuss my cake, I wanted it to be very simple, tasteful (in more ways than one) and classic. Let me tell you... it was all of that and more. The cream cheese filling and Swiss meringue buttercream frosting melted in the mouth of each guest as they indulged in this delicious creation I was honored to call my wedding cake! With the trend these days of having cupcakes at your wedding, I saw on Pinterest where someone did an outline of their last name initial using cupcakes and I immediately fell in love with the look. I suggested it to Carie and team and once again, no problem for Cakeitecture to execute my vision. She dropped that design right into AutoCAD and it turned out just as I imagined it to (see photo attached). My husband graduated from Auburn so his Grooms Cake had to have some AU flare incorporated. No problem, Cakeitecture baked the most creative Grooms Cake I've ever seen (and I've seen a LOT of Grooms Cakes- see photo). The cake portrayed a detailed replica of a Toomer's Corner Oak Tree, decorated as they are after the win of a football game. My guests couldn't get over how each ounce looked so meticulous and thought out to match the theme. Everything from the tissue covering the branches to the mini replica AU sign that sits in front of Samford Hall looked perfect. Each creation they made for us truly was a piece of art. On top of this, Carie was 9 months pregnant at the time of my wedding and order delivery. Once again, Cakeitecture came through and drove our cakes from Auburn to Bremen (104 miles one way), coordinated the drop off and setup with our caterer and drove back to Auburn. I didn't have to worry about coordinating with her, she was in and out and everything looked amazing when we arrived for our reception. We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and of course, due to the cake being so good and our guests eating every crumb, we needed a new cake top layer to eat and celebrate with, per tradition. I called the ladies up, they had it ready for me in a day and I was able to enjoy all of the goodness once again! I will now be a customer for life!
