My whole family looked forward to going there every year on our way to Assateague. But it's closed now! We went by today and it's been replaced by the most depressing business ever -- build your own cookie. Who wants a cookie on your way to the beach?? Snowballs. People want snowballs. You don't want to be covered in melting chocolate when the Assateague ponies make a run for it. Hoping that Cool Runnings reopens somewhere else -- it was a gem.

Owned and run by Ms. Kim and her sweet goddaughter, the hubs and I were super excited to run into this place while we were in OC. It was super hot, so we wanted to cool down with a Snoball - we chose half lemon-lime, and half blue raspberry - this was absolutely refreshing and delicious! Not too sweet, and the syrup tasted like it was homemade and it was just the right amount to flavor the ice! If those flavors aren't your thing - no worries! They have a chalkboard that lists an overwhelming number of flavor choices! We also noticed some ice cream made from a local farm, so we purchased 3 tubs to-go (which ended up being super delicious!). There is even a little 'beach' area where you can sit down and enjoy your cold treats. Great cute place to check out when you're in town - I highly recommend them! :D +Snoballs :D +Lemon-Lime & Blue Raspberry combo Snoball :D +local produce and ice cream available +ask for Ms. Kim :D +private lot for parking

The layout here is the same as just about every other ALDI I've shopped - dry goods, produce, frozen, beer and wine. Prices were clearly marked and they're great. Like other ALDI stores, you need to bring your own shopping bags or buy them at the register. You can also take their cardboard boxes if that's your preference. And you need to have a quarter for your deposit on the shopping cart, which you'll get back when you return it. [Review 18147 overall - 664 in Maryland - 1669 of 2022.]

This location is larger than the one I shop near home, the interior warm and inviting one to spend! And, it wasn't crowded. Meaning, this place hasn't caught on with the locals. Larger stores can mean items you may not find in all stores. I got what I needed and $140 later I was done. I also know some of these groceries will be going back to Baltimore with me. In this age of Bidenflation, I'm grateful for Aldi. My home for everyday essential items. And, the staff is friendly enough as their display the spirit of the Eastern Shore. Stop by en route to the beach. It's right off EB 50 and six miles outside OC. If you're heading to north OC, get there by going WB on 50 and turn right on Racetrack Rd and follow to 90. So easy.

We don't need 6 earring/jewelry vendors at some of these tiny markets, save that for craft fairs. This one is nothing like that! So much food and local businesses to support galore. It's definitely worth the trip even if you're not in the area.

It's open every Sunday May - September 9-1 pm. We got there at noon, so most of the produce was sold and some vendors were packing up and taking down their tents. The variety of vendors is amazing. Baked goods, booze, plants, veggies, and craft goods to name a few. I didn't see corn (too early) or peaches which is what I would have liked to purchase. Then... one vendor had left and returned with freshly (yes, just picked within the hour) picked strawberries. They were the sweetest and most delicious strawberries I have ever had in recent years. People were scooping up the limited supply four at a time! I bought one pint, but should have bought more. My friend bought two, and she bought some flavored olive oil for her budding chef husband. One of the plant guys sold her a large mint plant for $5 because it was the end of the day, and he was out of the small ($4) size she wanted. Plants were cheaper here than my local farmers, market just outside DC. I'll have to make a special plan to stop here the next time I'm at the beach.
