Driving and looking for Smoothies we saw a sign that indicated City Organics had smoothies. We were disappointed when entering that they had none but directed us to another place. This is my favorite organic store for multiple reasons! Fresh organic produce, organic cotton clothing, the bulk spice section is incredible, environmentally friendly household goods and cleaning supplies, organic wines, quality supplements...I could go on! Their new addition - The low tide lunchbox - has delicious healthy grab and go options! My favorite is the peanut noodle salad and the power house sandwich - YUM! I've tried most of their smoothies and love them all but the coffee smoothie ranks #1 for me! Also, I have to mention their homemade vegan GF brownie is to die for! Check it out! read more

This is one of the best health food stores that I've been in to. This place has everything from herbal supplements to organic/local meats to teas and gluten free/ vegan products. This truly has not only an extensive inventory but they hold the BEST brands. My boyfriend has Lyme disease and the herbal supplements his doctor recommends are available in stores. I saw one complaint about the prices and I think some things were a little high but most were right in the mark. Many of the things were the same price on amazon, in fact some things were cheaper. I love this store so much I can't wait to get my groceries here each time I'm back. read more

Friendly staff, great produces and high-quality, organic produce/items you won't find anywhere else on the Shore. It's great to see them supporting and lifting up so many local businesses, and it just feels "right" to come in every time I'm in the area and buy like 15 things when I'm only looking for five, haha. Too bad there isn't any place like this in Salisbury... Hubby and I try very hard to eat healthy whole grain items without a lot of added sugar and processing. I've had to come here for things I can't find anywhere else, like barley, spelt, and buckwheat pancake mix. They also have a vast array of "whole food" vitamins and supplements. OC Organics is very granola-ey, and it will make you feel like a hippy just walking in. But like I said, you will find food and environmentally friendly items here which you just can't find elsewhere. The people here are very friendly and extremely helpful. If you can't find something, chances are they might actually have it and you just don't know where to look yet! Simply ask! Also, they seem open to ordering things, so feel free to ask them about that as well. Today they gave me free samples of skin care products :) read more

Very over priced organics store (Dr. Bronner soaps @ $18.00? Seriously? ). Snappy, borderline rude staff. They pretty much have a monopoly in the area due to a lack of similar type natural stores, and it appears they fully take advantage of this fact. Ho hum selection of products, good store if you're desperate in a pinch for something you need, not a good store for regular weekly shopping unless you recently won the lottery. read more

If you are from out of town and can not good produce, they have it ! Amazing selection of FRESH organic fruits and veggies, they get local whenever they can... (tomatoes, kale, honey, kombucha) They also have JIMS ORGANIC COFFEE, shade grown and fair trade, plenty of whole foods to make you very happy and healthy read more

I have been visiting this health food store and watching it grow for over ten years and I am truly impressed by their commitment to the community and their effort to provide affordable produce and organic products to the people. Here in Maine, the prices are much higher at my local health food store and they don't even offer the wide array of high quality products that Ocean City Organics offers. You can tell that they put a lot of effort into researching the products that they sell. I have heard that they even offer discounts on produce or store credit in exchange for working a couple of hours a week. I cant say enough about this store, not to mention the lovely paintings on the walls and cozy, small town feel. I personally love this store, they have a great inventory with a little bit of everything! I find their prices to be comparable to every other small health food store I have shopped in, maybe if you go to those BIG BOX STORES like Whole Foods and Trader Joes you could very well find items at a cheaper price....but aren't we supposed to be supporting our local and small business....? isn't this the new fad?... no I find that when it comes down to it everyone still wants the cheapest and couldn't care less about supporting the small and independent business, they just front that they are all into it.... When it comes down to it they would rather go to the Walmart of Health food industries. Oh and just an FYI, you can't buy nuts cheaper anywhere, I have researched online and found O.C Organics prices to be pretty darn good....and Target is selling Tea Tree Dr. Bronners for $18.00. read more

I used to shop at OC Organics often, but I rarely do now. I agree with C.S.'s review wholeheartedly. With very little competition on the Eastern Shore, their prices are over the top. I now order almost all of my supplements online, costing considerable less, and they're delivered within a few days. OC Organic does offer a fair amount of organic foodstuffs not readily available elsewhere, and I used to eat almost entirely organic, but, like the supplement industry, I think the organic food industry is also raping health conscious consumers with outrageous prices, only because they can get away with it. I'm 1000% for taking control of our health by what we put into our bodies, but I'm not looking to make others rich while doing so, nor do I think it's necessary. I'll buy from OC Organics occasionally, when it's convenient for me, but definitely not on a regular basis. read more

This is 1 of my favorite places! I was visiting after 9/11 from New York ,and came across this hidden "Gem" of a store in its beginning ! It was a true" Oasis" to my healing, healthy foods ,fresh produce, & a staff that gave so much attention to my health needs & getting me well "Naturally"! I felt as if I had come home to my family! I have visited throughout the years & have watched the growing of a local health food store to provide to locals ,along with visitors. I was very impressed with their BIG Hearts donating to the community, & making it possible for all people to have" True Organic" & affordable products! A must see and shop at from the cozy surroundings of local artists,to the newest and up to date for your health needs. I can not empathize the caring staff with Skip leading his crew of Healer,s!
