Finally got to stop by after watching Facebook for a year and moving to Florida. We came in on a time crunch and the the ladies were very friendly. We browsed briefly and they let us make an ornament. I was thrilled as I had never made one. I will be sure to allow more time next time we are in Virginia. read more

Went in to look around for some Christmas gifts and started talking to the lady about the shop. She mentioned to us about the classes they offer such as fusion class. We asked when they had the next class and she said that night. We mentioned about not being able to attend and she's like well if you like you could do it now. We were excited that we were able to make an ornament. Looking forward to seeing our finished products. Thank you for being so flexible to allow us to make our first fusion ornament. Whether you are foil and solder or lead came, they have just what you need and great advice to make your project the best it can be! I can't say enough about Stessie (forgive me if I got that wrong) and Coleen. I saw another post from someone who was not impressed and all I have to say is you can't please some people and there are those who expect another to solve an impossible problem that they have gotten themselves into. It's a shame they lash out at good people instead of looking at their own poor design. I first visited this place back in late May 2018. I wanted their help in making a stained glass pattern... I wanted to do the stained glass work. I was told for what I wanted... I was responsible for making a form to support the shape of the stained glass for the wrought iron chandelier I made. I brought the form back the first week in June, 2018. I was told it would take a few weeks. I told them I was in no rush. I come back two weeks later and they hadn't even started on it. I was told another few weeks. I come back and Stessie (Shop owner?) was out with shoulder surgery... Okay... Stuff happens. I go back a month later... Still nothing. OCTOBER rolls around... Stessie tells me she is having a hard time with the pattern transfer. I make suggestions as to what I want... She says she gets it and NOW she should have no problem. I stopped by in early November 2018 and she said she should have it finished up in (guess what) another few weeks... I called last week instead of stopping by and she said it would take another week. I stopped by today, 12/8/18, and she just handed me my form saying she doesn't know how to do it! So... I ended up WASTING SIX MONTHS of my time with this business. I will badmouth them wherever I go from here. She didn't even TRY to apologize! This place is absolutely terrible! Don't waste your time! read more
