Worse care center ever Notice I did not call it a hospital?…read moreMy wife was in ICU for 29 days. If I had notbee there every day, I have no doubt what so ever, she would not have made it out alive. Every day I had to tell them what to do and what not to do. She suffered an internal decapitation. The neurosurgeon was the only competent person I saw. There has only been 7 cases of her injury ever survive. That is EVER in the history of the record keeping. pe do have to learn somewhere but all the did was play games with there iPhones Her bill was $386,000 dollars. I told them to stick it. I paid the neurosurgeon for his services. He was a professional . thank GOD

On September 7, 2024, I was a victim of an active shooter on interstate 75 near London, Kentucky…read more I was taken by helicopter to the UK heath care Albert B. Chandler hospital. My care there with only one exception was fantastic. The trauma team, emergency department, nurses, technicians therapists, dietary and housekeeping personnel were all friendly, conscientious and great at their jobs. One nurse named Barbara who worked on discharge planning, was the only exception to my excellent care. Barbara works a nursing job that does not provide bedside care. She was going over her discharge plans for me. I have a bullet hole in my left upper thigh. I cannot see this wound directly. While in the hospital, one physician and several nurses packed this wound with saline soaked gauze. These people are trained to pack the wound. They were standing behind me and using TWO HANDS to pack this wound. "Nurse" Barbara's solution for acceptable home wound care was to have me hold a mirror in one hand and use the other hand to pack the wound. As stated earlier, trained doctors and nurses require TWO hands to safely accomplish this task to maintain sterility. Preventing infection is paramount in this situation. In the weeks since my discharge, my opinion of "Nurse" Barbara is that she is out of touch with good patient education. I also believe she is lazy and did not want to take the time to help set up out of state discharge care. The name of my primary care physician in Indiana was well documented on my chart. One phone call to Indiana would have alerted my doctor that I needed additional care. Shame on this nurse for being so negligent.

This building has an ambulance only entrance and another entrance in the back. They do have metal detectors and do bag searches if you bring bag/purse in. My keys were held because I had pepper spray attached to it. Going to the front desk it moved quickly beings I have a mybaptist chart. I was taken to a room and triaged quickly. It did take some time to be seen by a provider. I was seen by RN for vitals and to be swabbed for Covid/Flu and strep. After that seen by registration. It did take some time to be seen by a provider. Once seen an initial exam was done and my swab results all came back negative. I was prescribed some strong cough medicine and went to nearest 24 hour pharmacy. When checking out, that's when I had to pay my co-pay vs paying up front. I did get my keys back and checking the time. I was there for only over an hour. I read other reviews where people waited longer. I guess it depends on how many people are there and if you're there for urgent care/ER visit. ER is 24/7 Urgent care 7a-9p. I had an excellent experience and couldn't ask for better quality of care. I'd definitely come back here.

This is for the pharmacy and for the pharmacy only…read more I will no longer be a customer at another CVS in my life. I am an extra care member and will be switching over to Walgreens. No joke today I got B*TCHED out by the main pharmacist. Guy was completely unprofessional and was yelling at me even through the store while I left. Story below: I have Covid and pink eye in 2 eyes. I don't live here I'm out of town for a trip. All I wanted was my prescription for eye drops so I could drive my three hours and go home to bed. It was 1:24. He said I can't help you we are closed at 1:30. I said no it's 1:24. MAN STARTS YELLING AT ME. I tried to explain how terrible my day had been and he proceeds to say all these insulting and unprofessional things in the store. While I was leaving he CONTINUED to shout out me through the store. Went over to Walgreens and the pharmacist there saw I was upset, even offered to open their pharmacy up 5 minutes early to help me and offered to help me find anything I might need in the store. Complete different customer service model. I am never considering another CVS again in my life. I am in awe by the things a PHARMACIST was saying to me over a basic conversation. He could have been polite and explained that he was busy or whatever but instead was cursing and yelling throughout the entire store.

All the group is is a bunch of doctors found a way to triple dip into your insurance and your pocket. This sort of practice should be illegal. Seems illegal
