The total was close to $70 for a two-person meal. I could no understand how the meals alone were a bit over $50, it did not feel like 2lbs per person, but then again I did not pay attention to the scale. The food was not very hot by the time we sat down to eat, and it was very crowded at 11 AM. The employees were meh but then again, it was a holiday so I appreciate their presence. We still had a good time, the food was good, but I am not sure if I'd return (mostly due to the cost). It reminded me of sprouts or whole foods, just smaller.

One of my friends was quick to point out the micro cilantro. Then it dawned on me, I remember Simply Seedlings mentioning on IG that they supply those greens to Mintons! I wasn't positive about it, so I later confirmed that they were in fact their seedlings. Before I could go back and rave to my friend, she'd already shouted out the greens in her five star review of Mintons. I too had the Huevos Rancheros, and I can attest, those Simply Seedlings were more than simply, they literally made the dish! Kudos to Mintons for using those locally sourced greens. Genius! They also make custom blends and offer live trays. Look them up and reach out on Instagram. The owners are a pair of Transy grads, passionate about good quality microgreens.

The store had a well-curated display of a seemingly endless amount of hot sauces, barbecue sauces, spices and other culinary products. The environment was enjoyable as well. Kim showed us a ton of different flavor profiles. She was able to use what we told her we liked to give recommendations for other sauces and products. She also made sure to help us get the best deals available and to sign us up for the rewards program. All in all, we are hooked now that we have experimented with some recipes. This morning, we used the apple cinnamon barbecue sauce to make a spam hash in the air fryer. It was too good for words. We will definitely be returning to this store!

The woman working, I believe her name was Kelly, was so helpful in helping me select an olive oil and vinegar pair which was great because there is a huge variety to choose from! I was able to sample a few and you honestly cannot go wrong. They also offer a seasoning mix called "olive oils best friend" that pairs so well with most of the olive oils. I will be back!
