The large white ceramic horse and lovely bright flowers strewn across the front door are an instant giveaway to what is inside, not to mention one hell of a welcome to Ada & Lo. I am instantly reminded of the sit com "Designing Women" pretty much instantly. From the owners (what a nice couple!) and the staff and friends in the store, I am instantly made to feel like family through friendly conversation and laughter, suggestions on new product and a non-pressuring ease to walk throughout the store. This store is loaded with cute things to by for self or others....or self....or self. Earrings with big glitz that I can wear them in Vegas. Derby/horse themed housewares and hats. Functional handbags/clutches. KU items. Pet gifts. Childrens items. And not just lots of things to buy for self or others....or self....or self..... the store is large, well lit, well laid out and easy to navigate around. On the day of my visit, I walked out with two pairs of earrings and a small clear round bag with a black/white patterned strap that I am absolutely planning on bringing to Raiders Games in Vegas because it is stadium compliant, not to mention simply darling. Recently she told me a new shop had happened, and she took me to Meraki and Moon. I was instantly in love! This shop offers art, home decor, clothing, jewelry, bath salts, crystals, accessories, wine, and so so so much more! We ended up purchasing several items, and we were both so happy with our purchases that we can't wait to go back! Plus, they offer classes and hands on art experiences, and you can purchase wine by the bottle or glass and enjoy it while in a class or while shopping! And, on top of all of that, the shop owners and employees are awesome! You can read about their story on their website, and in person they are so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed meeting them and talking with them during our visit. This is the perfect shop to check out for yourself, or for gifts. The atmosphere smelled amazing and the handcrafted jewelry was beautiful! They have great gifts for kids all the way to the the adults! The staff was very nice and helpful. I ended up buying some sea salt caramel popcorn(delicious just like the staff recommended it would be), some body butter in the light scent of seaweed and sea salt, and a 90's music trivia game. Overall, I loved all the scents of the body butter, the candles, and bath bombs! The sea salted caramel popcorn was phenomenal! I don't cook, but cookbooks are everywhere! I will visit this place again. It's a Lexington hidden treasure.

They have a huge inventory that changes daily and an amazing Instagram feed full of good finds (act quickly, sometimes things sell in seconds). You can visit over and over and will always see something new. This is high level stuff, and the prices reflect that, but there are also many modestly priced pieces, and everything is fairly priced. Jeff and his crew, as well as the other dealers, really have an eye for design. I can't recommend this place enough, over and over.

I have bought modern glass tables a set of three which I mix with my transitional furniture style. I enjoy shopping here because the vendor booths are so interesting to explore. I like mid century modern and they often have just stunning pieces in this style.
