Great, spacious rooms, with comfortable, high quality beds. Each apartment-style room has two separate bedrooms, each with a personal bathroom and bath/shower area. The en suite living area consists of a spacious living room with beautiful windows and decent view, as well as a small dining room partition and a large kitchen. Whether staying briefly or for an extended period, this place meets the needs for many different types of parties. Definitely not bad if you aren't the one paying. When looking at the average nightly rates, however, I cannot say I would ever book this place. The person in my party who organized the booking has a timeshare agreement with Bluegreen. Parking is limited, and getting around the property and to your room may be a bit of an extra hassle. Overall, it wasn't too taxing for me; but I can see those who would deign it not worth it. Another great Bluegreen experience. I am a Bluegreen owner and have been to a handful of the resorts at this point. I really enjoyed our stay at this location. We reserved a two bedroom suite for 2 days. The master bedroom had a private bathroom, a jetted tub, and a king size bed. The second bedroom had 2 double beds which was just perfect for my mom and children. The living room and kitchen combo was also perfect for us to enjoy breakfast. We also had wonderful views of Hershey Park. There was a beautiful indoor pool, which we did not have the chance to use. We intend to visit this resort again in the future so definitely next time we will. It was very close to the park, and we could literally walk to the outlets if we wanted to. The only negative was the train that we sometimes heard that was located nearby. read more

The Suites at Hershey are a great location, and everyone at Bluegreen Vacations was pleasant to work with. We would stay here again. The location is outstanding. The room you get is functionally an apartment, sold as a time share system when not rented through sites like AirBnB. That means you not only get a kitchen fully stocked with all the equipment and amenities you might need to prepare a full meal, but you also have unlimited paper and utility goods like paper towel, dishwasher soap, and sponges. They also provided detergent for the in-suite washing machine, along with the usual soap/shampoo/conditioner toiletries in the bathrooms. We traveled with two adults, a 2 year old toddler and an 8 month infant - in other words with a whole lot of stuff. There was plenty of room for everyone, even with 2 cribs (though the toddler got to use the bed because he was good about it). The kids are on different sleep/nap schedules and having 2 bedrooms allowed us to successfully accommodate them both with multiple trips per day out to see all the Herhsey stuff. Even when one kid was crying or noisy in one bedroom it didn't wake up the other kid in the other bedroom. Similarly, we were also insulated from the train noise because we were in building 3. CHOOSE BUILDING 3! We were also not bothered by noise from the adjacent rooms, which were also occupied with small children, so between-suite sound insulation is probably quite good, or they were perfect angels for 4 days. Little details made the newly renovated room truly pleasant to stay in. They provide a mix of soft and firm pillows in abundance. Plenty of both in-room and beach towels (8) for a family of 4, even with toddler spills and a water park trip. Both 110 volt and USB outlets are thoughtfully sprinkled throughout in abundance, we never had to move any furniture around to plug in a white noise machine or something. The kitchen appliances are all a step up from bottom rung commercial, so the dishes actually get clean, the blender can mix a frozen drink to the proper consistency, and the ice maker works well. HVAC cooled the room quickly. Everyone on staff was great. Friendly and lots of suggestions for local fare and fun and answers for every question. No unnecessary waits or problems at all. Note that there was no housekeeping during our stay. We didn't anticipate using the resort amenities, but the infant ended up enjoying the indoor pool and I (dad) really liked hanging out at the fire pit with the other visiting dads after the kids went to bed. The indoor pool was consistently full of children of all ages, throughout the opening hours. Overall cleanliness was good to excellent. Room was thoroughly cleaned, includuing the refrigerator, cabinets, and appliances. Public areas are well-maintained. Indoor pool was as sanitary as they ever can be. As an example of their committment to cleanliness, they've replaced all the TV remotes with a model that is trivially sanitized. Despite this being a very positive experience we would gladly repeat, it was not without a couple of bumps in the road. The biggest problem we experienced was WiFi, which was out for the first 2 nights of our 4 night stay. Before kids, this was just an annoyance. But we travel with internet-connected crib cams and other stuff (Disney+) that are crucial to a smoothe travel and sleep experience. Not having this severely complicated our schedules for the first half of the trip, and made dealing with the kids while we had to get stuff done far more taxing. In the arrival documents, Bluegreen provides the tech support number for their ISP, which I called several times during the outage. I'm not sure if my persistence helped stimulate the fix, but it probably didn't hurt and I appreciated the direct line to people who could actually do something about it. And once the WiFi was restored, the signal was strong, and even the freebie bandwidth package was sufficient to watch the crib camera feeds and a Disney stream at the same time. Totally solid connection and easy to login. And it works well at the fire pit, too. One issue we had to work around was an apparent safe temperature limit to the water in the kids` bathroom. While the water to the master bath and the kitchen is piping hot, the water to the kids` bath is just barely warm enough for a bath. We assume this is a safety measure, but it meant that the kids` baths were bit abbreviated and cooler than at home. The other problem was a communication issue. We reserved 4 nights here, but then Bluegreen sent us an email confirmation for 2 nights. Panicked, I messaged the host account and they confirmed via AirBnB that we had 4 nights, and to expect the other 2 night reservation soon. It never came, and when we checked in they gave me a 2 night parking card for the car. I had to go back and get it fixed (just took a second). I was kind of afraid our room key might stop working halfway through the trip but it didn't happen. Recommended! read more

The unit is in walking distance from the Tangier Outlets for shopping and the Dorney Amusement Park. We could literally see everything from the view of our room. Our unit was a two bedroom suite for 4 people. We had plenty of room without feeling like were bumping into each other. The kitchen was equipped with the essentials to cook. A dining room with a table to fit six. A living room with a fireplace. A washer/dryer combo as well. It was like being home. Everything was clean, up to date and comfortable. Grade: D- From the beginning, parking under building spaces are tight but there's enough parking under and around building. Carts not readily avail to get luggage upstairs, odd smell on floors, rooms are decent and acceptable space wise. Unacceptable is how close it is to highway that the noise is a nuisance even with windows closed it's loud and horrible trying to sleep . Non working electric fireplace in room. Basketball court insanely small, gazebo in parking lot, fire pit on a hill all ridiculously small Great for outlet shopping right across the road and Hershey park short trip down the street but USELESS if park isn't open or off-season. Pool medium sized - but when it's 30 degrees outside and it blows freezing cold air inside pool area and water is Luke warm it's not a pleasant time. Front desk USELESS - when asked to turn heat on in pool area got told hvac broke (weds) and maintenance guy isn't HVAC certified to touch it and no one can touch it until Saturday !!!!!!! Are you kidding!!! Rendering pool unusable. Don't they have a company to call in emergency ? Gave this place a fair chance but if Hershey park isn't open then it's not worth it- won't be returning read more

The Suites at Hershey is a Bluegreen Corporation property that is a time share, but it also rents out some rooms through various travel booking sites if the rooms aren't taken up by time share owners. It is an RCI "Gold Crown" resort. What they don't tell you when you book a room is that it is directly adjacent to the train tracks and trains rumble through at all hours of the day and night and blow their horns loudly. We spent a week in a suite in Building 1 that faced the train tracks. We were miserable. Even earplugs couldn't block out the loud horns. We asked to be moved, but no dice. The rest of the rooms were taken. Another "selling point" was that it has an indoor heated pool, so if the weather is cold or not condusive to using the outdoor pool, you can use the indoor one. Except they left out the fact that the indoor pool is only connected to some of the rooms, so you may have to walk outside in the cold to get the the building with the pool in it. Walking outdoors is fine during the summer, but when it is below freezing outside, walking along the parking lot on a windy day is not fun. The other odd thing is that despite staying here a week, we did not get any fresh linens or cleaning service. Fresh towels were $10 and getting the trash taken out was extra too. You could leave the trash outside your door before noon every morning and they supposed to pick it up. Sometimes they did and sometimes they didn't. The employees here also push the timeshare thing really, really hard. If you don't consent to going on a tour, they keep calling and asking. We almost gave in just to stop them from bugging us! Pros: I don't own a time share here! Big suites with full sized kitchens. Located across the street from the Outlet mall and down the street from Hershey Park. Cons: Trains prevent a good night's sleep. Spotty service. Pushy sales people. read more

Love it. Rooms are spacious. The standard is 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, kitchen, eating area and family room. Room includes free parking. Complex has 2 pools - one indoor and one outdoor - both of which are impeccably maintained. In addition, they also have a game room and fitness center. Rooms are above basic - they have a huge kitchen with pans, plates etc. They supply paper towels, dish and laundry detergent. Table in the main room seats at least 6, probably 8 with kids. TV in the main room is large as is the gorgeous fireplace. With a flick of the switch u have a beautiful fireplace to watch. The master bedroom has a kid bed, closet, jetted oval shaped tub, and a walk in shower. It has a separate sink/toliet room. The second bedroom has 2 double beds, closet and second bathroom with shower. The unit has a washer/dryer combo. The hotel is within walking distance to troeges, the outlets and the park. read more

Buyer beware! Hotel cancelled reservation less than 48 hours before arrival. Booked hotel over 4 months ago and paid for the stay in full. Received a call less than 48 hours before arrival stating the owner was not responding to them and they did not have any other availability but they would refund our money. We checked in mid week. Receptionist was helpful and courteous. The assigned room was in terrible need of updating. Dark, gloomy and worn furniture. One of the original timeshares (15 years old) After some time our suite was changed to building 2. Rooms were in better condition. Many of the dishes were not checked when they came out of the dishwasher. Caked on dirt. House keeping was nowhere to be found on Saturday when we needed supplies in the room and vacuuming behind the beds. Trash was left in the hallway for the weekend. Never again! The rooms are fine except when your stuck sleeping on the pullout in thf living room. Then you have to walk through pther's bedrooms in order to use the bathroom. Rooms are very poorly designed. Also its right next to the train tracks so, so I kept getting woken up by the train horn. The two room villa was amazing! It was very spacious. I was easily able to get ready for my wedding there! We are locals who stayed one night after our wedding. The staff worked to get our rooms ready for an early check-in. Everyone was kind and helpful at the front desk. You can park in a garage and there seems to be plenty of spaces. You also need a key to use the elevators to enter the building, which I thought was a nice safety feature! I read other reviews that complained about the train. I use a white noise app anytime I stay somewhere new and that seemed to cover up any train noises for us. Additionally I saw complaints about having to take out your trash and strip the beds. We only had to run the dishwasher and take out any recycling or trash. I didn't see that as an issue considering it is a time share and that it helps to get visitors in the rooms faster. I'd stay again .... or recommend it to friends. read more

Despite the train noise (we were, luckily, on the quter side of the building - there are 3 buildings), we enjoyed our 2 bedroom, 2 full bath suite. Blue Green is not a great time-share company but we got to stay here for free(which was great) from our friends who have a Blue green membership (No way I would buy into that!). 2 pools - one indoor, 1 outdoor in summer only. Firepit. Game room. A big full kitchen in the suite (great!) and a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. We had a great 3 day/night stay. But yes, the train comes rumbling through every hour or so. read more

The resort itself was great! The rooms are open and spacious with gas fireplaces and comfy beds. The only real complaints I have are that the wifi in the rooms is horrible and the rooms don't have balconies. The pools are clean and the kids had a blast in them. read more

The rooms were very nice. They were comfortable, spacious, and had plenty of amenities however we ran into a few other problems with the Hotel. First off, they are currently renovating the buildings. This isn't a huge deal but we were stuck waiting to get inside out of the frigid cold while they unloaded furniture from stairs and elevator. We also ended up being stuck in the parking garage as they blocked the exit. This wasn't fun. We also ended up losing money that was never refunded to the vending machine. Also not fun. Finally the biggest problem I had was being charged for an extra night, despite us checking out on time. This charge didn't come in til well after 10 hours had passed. Thankfully my credit card company caught on and contacted me, declining the authorization. (Thank you AMEX!) All in all, I have to say I am disappointed with how things were handled in some aspects, but in others I'm satisfied. Would I go back again? It's possible. I always tend to give more than one chance. Could easily have been a rough week for them! I will update my review if I go back! read more

The suite is very nice. It has a nice kitchen with tile flooring, a dining/living area with a fireplace and rug. The room I stayed in had a great view of the Tanger Outlets and Hersheypark! The place was very updated and had a nice chandelier. Both bedrooms are nice and having good, clean bathrooms. Lots of closet space and storage. Lots of Hersheypark-related picture frames, and the couches and chairs in the living area are nice. The bathroom has a nice jacuzzi tub. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, with updated cabinetry. The bedrooms are beautifully layer out with a television, and wooden cabinets, with natural lighting from the window and in addition a few modern-looking lamps. The jacuzzi tub has jets which is nice, and each bathroom includes updated countertops and a huge mirror in each. The room is provided with the normals (soaps, towels, etc.). There's a shower in each bathroom and lots of lighting. There is a dishwasher and a coffee maker in the kitchen, with nice countertops. All in all, the room itself has a beautiful layout and is extremely updated! I would recommend this place to you to stay in! read more

Overall I had a wonderful vacation spending the weekend after Christmas here. First the bad: They do not have a tea kettle in the rooms or anywhere at the resort. My girlfriend was very disappointed in this because she never go out with out her morning cup of tea. The resort doesn't recycle - which I believed to be against the law. The kitchen is a wonderful addition to have. However, I didn't find out till the last day that they store the pots and pans underneath the oven Overall the resort is a really nice place to stay at especially if you are visiting Hershey. The room is spacious and clean. It can fit a large family comfortably. But it would not be a place that I would invest in. Blue-green was not very helpful. They do not give you any clear instructions. For example, we found out after we checked (on a piece of paper in the room) in that we have to strip our bed and take out the garbage, otherwise they charge a cleaning fee. From experience with my own timeshare, I have never had to do this. I was very surprised by this. You never see any staff member of the resort on the premises and if you contact the Front Desk they are not very helpful. There isn't even a front desk bottom on the phone - which makes you want to believe they do not want you to call them. There is also a loud train that comes by multiple times throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper, you will wake up. Positive Notes: This place is minutes from hershey (I actually think it is closer to the Park than the Hershey Hotel) , in walking distance from the Outlets and even 15 minutes away from the Local Casino. The hotel is kept very clean and neat. Has two spacious rooms, 2 bathrooms, a nice fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen! It is a great place to run away to for the weekend! read more

We have two small children and two teenagera enough room for everyone to run around and have their own space. My family and I stayed here on our trip to Hershey Park and other area attractions. I was very happy with everything. We stayed in building 2, or Chocolate as it is called. From check-in our stay was great. Rooms are spacious, a master bedroom with king size bed, jacuzzi tub and bathroom with shower. A sink in the bathroom as well as one just outside of this. TV in the bedroom and two closets and a dresser. Living area was roomy with pull out couch and two chairs. Another TV and a gas fireplace. Full kitchen. Second bedroom has two beds, closet space, dresser and another TV. A second bathroom and shower. Hotel was very clean and quiet. Some reviews complain about the train next door. We only heard it a couple of times and was not loud or disturbing. Gas grills are available and clean as well. We did not use the fire pit, but a gas one is available. Two pools, one indoor and one outdoor with late hours. (open until 10-outside and 11-inside) This resort is only minutes from the park and about an hour from places like Turkey Hill and Gettysburg. I would recommend this to anyone. read more

It's a decent enough place as far as accomodations and the help but OH MY GOD THE SPIDERS! No joke, in the 4 days I've been here, I've seen at least 1,000 spiders. It's disturbing. To be fair, I'm a smoker so I'm outside more than most. I also detest spiders. That said, there are literally hundreds of spiders right outside every doorway going outside. On the hanging light fixtures in the garage, there are so many spiders that it's significantly dimmer than it should be. Like I said, it's a nice place, but if you're squeemish about spiders, I would recommend something else. read more

We had a great visit at the Suites at Hershey. We were on an RCI timeshare exchange, so we had it for a week. Our 2BR suite had plenty of room for us, daughter, son in law, and 2 small children. The kitchen was nicely equipped with many conveniences not always found in timeshares, like a blender and a toaster, along with coffee maker, service for 8, etc. There was a full size washer and dryer, which always is nice, especially when you have kids. The train does go right by the windows. Most of the time it did not disturb my sleep, but the whistle is very loud and they run day and night. The unit was clean, but there were stains on the rugs and the sofa cushions. The staff could not have been more pleasant or accommodating. They allowed my daughter's family to check in ahead of our arrival, and they gave us a linen swap mid-week when they left and my son came in with his family. We had a problem with the air conditioning condenser. It was leaking, wetting the carpet around the unit. They sent someone up right away to fix it. Coffee and tea are available in the clubhouse throughout the day/evening. There are 2 pools and one hot tub, all very clean. The outdoor pool is a little small for the size of the resort. Even with only 3 or 4 families in it, it seemed crowded. There were plenty of pool lounges available. There is only one kiddie pool, and it is in the indoor complex. Also in that same building are a game room and a fitness room. There is a computer available at the main lobby to print out boarding passes, tickets, etc. The resort is right across the street from a large Tanger Outlet Center, and very close to Hershey Park. You can easily leave the park for a rest, swim, or meal and return back to it the same day. I would definitely recommend this resort. read more

On-line, clicked to book room, but had question. Called Bluegreen property, and front desk was not aware of reservation policies. Seriously? (strike 1 for Choice hotels) Directed to call Choice reservation center, which is apparently in the Philippines (strike 2).. held for several minutes, by the time I could get an answer to my question, room was booked. (1) Why aren't front desk personnel at the properties versed in reservation policies? (2) With unemployment and food stamps usage at highest levels in our country, why is Choice not bringing jobs back to the US? Answer: Greed. Will not choose to stay at a Choice hotel in the future. read more

We had a very enjoyable stay at Blugreen Suites at Hershey. My parents are owners at a Myrtle Beach property, and booked this for us with their points. Check in and check out were a breeze. Our suite was spotless and included many useful things, and supplies such as trash bags and laundry detergent. Ample supply of towels. Fresh coffee in the lobby every day. If you need more of anything, just go to the desk and it's no problem. The gym and game room were nice too. I didn't notice the train that much, we were in the center building. They even tell you what restaurants will deliver if you want to eat in, which we did. I went shopping to the outlets next door several times, I just walked over there while my family was swimming. I have no complaints and would definitely stay there again. My only complaint was the Wifi, which was weak at best. They may need to update the tech with all the devices being used by guests. read more

We booked a room at this resort through Hotels.com on January 8, 2018 (for a stay June 20-June 23, 2018). On March 5th the hotel took another deposit on my credit card, when I called to question they told me they needed to split my reservation into two segments but not to worry, I would not need to change rooms during my stay! I was a little worried but soon they refunded the extra deposit, I was all set...until June 8th when they again refunded my deposit, little did I know they were cancelling my stay! On June 24th, when I was already on my trip in Gettysburg I received a call from Hotels.com informing me of this cancellation! When I called Bluegreen they told me it was a Hotels.com mistake, if I would have booked Bluegreen directly we would not have had a problem! I think this is totally wrong, Bluegreen accepted the reservation, took my deposit, acknowledged my rooms in March when I called them just to tell me in June that a third party reservation system made the mistake. They also told me if I had used Kayak instead of Hotels.com the reservation would have been honored!! Hotels.com has always found me rooms on my travels and also tried to find me an alternate resort on this trip, Bluegreen did nothing but point a finger towards an industry booking partner. I would have given Bluegreen no stars if this review would have allowed it, the same thing they gave me and the FIVE other bookings they cancelled this week. Someone there made a HUGE mistake! I would advise any traveler to BEWARE when booking this resort, they do not honor reservations! read more
