Well, when I took my laptop to him, I had a cooling fan issue. The fan needed to be replaced. He told me that it would be about 3 weeks to get the part in, fine I leave it with him. After a day, I started looking the part up and found it on Amazon. So, at this point I felt like this guy is incompetent or does research for sourcing his parts. So, at this point I call him up and informs him that I was coming to pick up my laptop. Two hours later, I go to pick up the laptop and he has it taken apart (the back cover is off) he starts to put screws in the back that are not the ones that came from the back panel. He then tries to give me a cord that was not mine. I get home and the screen is not working. First impression is everything, I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, with him being former military, but I should have followed my instincts. Do not use this computer guy.

He was able to retrieve ALL my data, applications, photos, and music from the old computer and create a recovery file.
