We were able to decorate and rehearse on a Friday. Have my wedding on Saturday and pick up everything and leave by Sunday. We rented out all 3 homes that are offered. The houses were beautiful and extremely homey. Had everything we needed. My family , bridal party and I were all able to get ready the day of the wedding. The photos are beautiful right by the pond. You can tell Concorde center takes great care of the land. I will say this venue would be best for weddings under 100-110 people max. It's the not biggest. We had 95 people and it was perfect with enough space for a dance floor and photobooth. A few downsides that could be worked on is you have to choose their preferred caterers. They give you only 3 options. First option never got back to me. I called and emailed them multiple times and never heard a word back. I would advise Concorde to take them completely off their list. Second place was pricey and out of our budget. The woman who owns it was very busy and seemed uninterested in our event. The last place I had no choice but to go with was 31 North. Which we were dissatisfied with their food. I also wish they would allow you to go into the homes a little earlier than 10 am. Considering it can take hours for a bridal party to get ready the day of. Other than that everything went very smoothly and I'm glad I choose this venue close to home.

They have a great outdoor patio with a working outdoor fireplace and our guests enjoyed walks on the paths overlooking the pond. I have to say the vendor list could be better- we ended up using The Caterist which was outside the vendor list without a fee. Overall a great location for a memorable wedding and flexible staff.

I never even knew this was a possibility but stumbled upon it, thanks to the power of Google, when I was looking for a venue that would accommodate 50-ish people for my son's baptism reception lunch. This place definitely won't break the bank by any stretch of the imagination. The only downside is that it's not much to look at. The hall is nice and airy, 2 walls of windows let ample light stream in, and a wall of floor to ceiling mirrors reflect the light. The floors are wood, and the walls are cream, which provide a nice neutral palette for decorating without worrying about clashing. There's a tiny little kitchen in the back corner, complete with microwave and a full-sized refrigerator. Obviously they don't cater or anything, which is both a plus and a minus. They don't even have a coffee maker on hand, so be prepared to bring your own. What they do supply, or at least claim to, are 6-8 tables and 40-50 chairs. What we found when we arrived were 3 tables and about 20 chairs. We never did locate the rest of the tables and chairs, but we made due with what we had. This place isn't fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but if you're looking for a nice facility to hold a lunch or a get-together that isn't in your home, Algonquin's Historic Village Hall is a great option. We will definitely keep this place in mind for our next party.

You buy tickets in advance by zone..A,B,C. We purchased the C zone which was just fine. Seating is open in each zone and the sound was perfect. The string quartet were very talented musicians that played about 15 Beatles songs in a little over an hour. There was no intermission and no food or drink options. Parking can be a challenge in the area as it is mainly street parking. The architectural of this building has a unique and 20th Century vibe. I came here on tonight for the Fever Candlelight Christmas Pop Classic Concert. Beautiful decorations for the Holiday's. LED candles brightly lit on stage and around the the auditorium. I enjoyed the performances from varieties of Christmas Songs. Magical, stunning and intimate ambiance. The ushers were nice and escorted everyone to their seating Zone. The seats were hard and a bit uncomfortable. FYI - Out of respect for others to enjoy the show and to the performers. There is no recording or taking pictures during the performance. But, towards the end of the show, they will announce you can record. There is street meter parking along Lake Street in Oak Park. The quartet was phenomenal.
