It's amazing to me how man "IT" companies there are out there that hire incompetent technicians and lack professionalism. This was the case with my last two IT companies. We run a law firm in downtown and time is precious. Our systems and internet connection is vital to our everyday operation. After countless unresolved issues and being stood up by my previous IT company we decided to give BlueTech IT Solutions a try after another firm recommended him. This was one of the best decisions we made in 2011, they have been a godsend. Rick and his staff came in and reassessed our entire infrastructure and pointed out issues we were having with our router when we thought all along the problem was with our internet provider. This had us going crazy for months and no one could solve it and they came in and got us fixed and have been running relatively trouble free since June of last year. Also, BlueTech comes when they say they will or at least calls us when they are running late, a welcome change from other companies we have had before. They are not only professional, timely and knowledgeable but they know how to explain techie talk in terms a human can understand. I needed someone to help with a large Mac networking project. A friend suggested Rick from BlueTech. At first, I was hesitant to use a company I never heard of. Also, add to this that we are a windows and UNIX environment. It was essential that I hired someone I could trust since it would be difficult to gauge how well or poorly that person's skill set would be without knowing Mac's and the way they connected. However my friend insisted that Rick from BlueTech knew his stuff. Well I asked my friend if he was willing to back up his recommendation. So we made a small wager, if Rick was everything my friend said I would buy him lunch if not he would treat me to lunch. Well after giving BlueTech the project I am sad to report that my friend received a free lunch. Rick was able to complete our project quickly and cost effectively compared to other companies out there. For some reason when you mention you need someone to work on Apple anything the price doubles. This was not the case with BlueTech. I had to post here as I have to pay it forward even though this is something I usually don't do. However, BlueTech IT Solutions did such a wonderful job with our network that I want to do my part to generate as much business as I can for them (besides word of mouth of course). I am not technically savvy but know enough to get by and just want things to work. In short we had major issues with our Macs in the office and our internet connection. Rick came in and assessed our issues, provided a quote and we hired them to try and solve what the other 3 companies couldn't. I was skeptical but low and behold I don't know what he did exactly but we have had a smooth running network and no internet issues since the day he finished. I can't tell you how much this has meant to our company after months of annoying issues on a daily basis, we can all work without interruption and time is not wasted waiting around for the IT guy to come in. I'm skeptical to put 5 stars as all my yelp friends tell me it tends to get their reviews filtered but it is what it is. Found these guys through a Yelp search and after talking on the phone with Rick decided to give them a try. I've been through 4 IT companies already for my graphic design company. We use Macs and apparently not too many "IT" companies seem to know them well. BlueTech finally came in and solved some problems we were having for months that were driving us crazy. They also suggested some equipment to speed up our file transfers which take long due to the large file sizes we use. Now my designers can work a lot more efficient. We called BlueTech for help with some Mac issues We were having after upgrading to Mavericks (what a nightmare) and contacting several companies who said they only worked Windows. Well they came out right away and assessed our issues and recommended what we needed to do to solve the problems. We went ahead and hired them to take care of it and we have been issue free ever since. Rick was very professional and we were confident in what he was recommending since he proved so knowledgeable. Found these guys on a yelp search and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. Called them on a Monday morning with major server issues at my staffing company and they were there within 3 hours. They really understood the seriousness of my problem as I had an office of employees who couldn't really work. Rick came in and determined what the issue was right away and had us back up within a few hours. They also took care of a pesky wireless issue we had been having for some months now.
