What a nice pool area! I went yesterday with my infant and some friends and we had a great time. My…read moredaughter loved splashing in the fountains and I enjoyed the warm therapy pool. Absolutely looking forward to my next visit!

I picked my daughter up from daycare early specifically so we could make it to Parent-Tot time in…read morethe therapy pool. I was thrilled when I pulled in and saw the parking lot almost completely empty, thinking we had finally picked a quiet time to swim. Unfortunately, those hopes were quickly dashed when we were told we couldn't enter the pool because it was already "at capacity" based on the number of lifeguards on duty. Given the nearly empty parking lot, it seemed to be a staffing issue rather than the pool actually being crowded. Unfortunately, this is just one of several frustrating experiences we've had at this rec center. My 6-year-old's lips turn blue after spending more than about 20 minutes in the main pool because of how cold it is. The only area that is really appropriate for him to practice swimming is adult-only for the majority of the day, with only a very limited window for children--and during that window, we're now being told the pool is at capacity. We've also had multiple negative interactions with both front desk staff and lifeguards who have been unnecessarily rude and unhelpful. A previous reviewer made an assessment that I now completely agree with: if you're an older adult, this rec center may be a great fit, as the programming and pool schedules seem heavily geared toward adults. If you have a young family and are looking for a place to work out and swim with your children, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Our experience at Waterworks has been exceptional from the start. After trying other swim programs…read more(what a waste!), the difference here was immediately clear. We've enrolled our children in both private and semi-private lessons and have been consistently impressed by the instruction and the progress they've made. The instructors are patient, calm, and truly attentive to each child's needs. Our kids are excited to come to their lessons, and as a parent, it's incredibly reassuring to see how thoughtfully the instructors handle different personalities and learning styles. Even during semi-private lessons, each child still receives meaningful, individualized attention. Beyond the instruction itself, the environment makes a huge difference. The facility is always clean and well maintained, and it's such a relief that the building and water are consistently warm--even in the dead of winter. We also get great use out of the play pool while siblings are waiting for their lessons, which makes scheduling multiple kids so much easier. Tyler and the management team are always responsive and supportive, and it's clear that everyone here genuinely cares about what they do. We're so glad we found Waterworks and would recommend it without hesitation.

Look no further.... Go to Waterworks!…read more My granddaughter had a traumatic experience in water at a very young age. This caused her to have extreme anxiety in and around water. Waterworks was my third and final shot for swim lessons. To say Tyler is a godsend is an understatement! Tyler worked on building trust with her and making her feel safe in the water. No matter how much she cried, Tyler never gave up on her. Without Tyler's patience, kindness, and support, our toddler would not have made the progress that she made. Fast forward six months, Tyler has taken her from a frightened baby to a toddler that loves to jump in the pool and swim under water. We can't say enough good things about Waterworks and all the staff. They are genuinely invested in the progress of your child and it shows with every lesson. Tyler, there are no words to express our gratitude for everything!
