I was in need of a locksmith to unfreeze a lock on a sliding door and adjust the front door for proper closing. I called Bluewater, reached Josh who told me he could be here within a half an hour, which was what first impressed me. I asked if he could make it an hour and he was at my front door 2 minutes early. As I watched him worked and spoke with him, I was impressed by his professionalism, knowledge of what he was doing and his honesty about what needed to be done. The lock was frozen and corroded and very difficult to remove. He took it apart, cleaned it, put it back together and reinstalled the lock, which now works perfectly. He very easily could have told me I needed a new, commercial grade lock and I probably would have gone a long with buying an expensive mechanism that I did not need. He showed me the problem and put it back together.
I had similar problem for an outside gate lock at a second house we own and it took me days to get a locksmith out to the house, who then was incapable of solving my problem, charged me heavily for work that was not completed properly and left me with a gate I could not exit.
Consequently, my experience with Josh at Blue Water Locksmith was exceptional and I intend to personally recommend him for any lock/door work that needs to be done, whether fixing/installing locks and knobs, re-keying a house or simply unfreezing a lock to allow you to get into your house.
