After driving 4+ hours I drove here to get the disgusting bug splatters off my car windshield and front grill. It was awful. Service was decent and the attendant was polite. There was a long line of cars, but it moved fairly quick. I stopped to use their free microfiber cloths to wipe down my car. That's when I discovered my drivers side mirror was scratched. Unfortunately there was nothing I could do. Moreover, running your car through an automated car wash isn't sufficient enough to remove the bugs stuck in your grill. You need a power wash to do a good job. I paid $25, which included a sealant. If you just want to get the bug splatter off your car, I recommend finding another car wash to do that at a much lower cost; and maybe you'll be lucky enough to leave without a scratch. read more

All though I do love bluewave because of their car washes and good prices. I do not recommend this location as far as customer service. I don't know if the issue I am experiencing with my membership for 2 vehicles is an over all bluewave thing or what but this location offered no solutions or any recommendations. They gave me a bogus business card with a 1 800 number that we ALL know doesn't work. Even as I'm typing this review I am still on the phone with them for the 4th time this week at 40minutes. When the membership goes well and everything it's a good experience but if you start having issues like me with their system or whatever then it's a horrible experience. They have no customer service experience and they don't offer any solutions. Their 1800 number is ridiculous and they don't have any email to reach out to. Horrible experience. Do not subscribe for membership.. emailed no response. Can not access online membership to request cancelation and I've been on hold for the last 33 minutes to request cancelation. Looks like you have to go to office to request cancelation. Reason for cancelation the ceramic wash package is so bad not worth the value. I was so glad to find this Carwash! The attendant was so kind and friendly. There was a huge line to get into the carwash- in fact I had to wait on the street. But it went quick - my poor black Car was in great need of a bath! I did not want to do a carwash with the quarters and Stand outside and wash it myself- yuk. This was so nice. My car was being directed into the car wash by the attendant and as I came in he motioned that my car was off rail. i reversed and corrected the alignment according to him. As I was almost finished I heard a slight thump. I parked my car to see what happened to cause a thump. The blue cloth rollers came down and because I was not on the rails correctly, the rollers on both sides of my car pulled out the panels above each tire and slightly scratched my car. I then noticed the evidence that their rollers did the damage was because several pieces of torn blue cloth from the rollers were lodged in between the small gaps of panel. I also noticed the corner of my license plate was bent upward. I immediately filed a claim and this is where it got shady. Their "claims" department consisted of one untrained female employee who didnt return my calls until the fourth time. According to her review she stated that the blue cloth on the rollers cannot be torn and my claim was denied. I then asked for her name because I wanted to escalate this with an attorne...I asked for her name and she had the nerve to say it was private! What kind of company withholds names of employees, especially if your title is director of claims. I said to her the one thing she should have said was "I'm sorry this happened to your vehicle" but unfortunately she had no professionalism.I'm not satisfied with this so I am definitely escalating this. She had zero empathy for customer. the fact that her voiced was raised to me and talked over me with a loud angered voice definitely told me to take this further. Be careful with your vehicles there because they will not fix your vehicle even if it was their fault. lastly, I asked for her name and she just said just call me Liz and I'm like that's not the name you left on my voicemail. If I could give this place zero stars I would. They have the worst customer service ever. My antenna was broken passing through one of their carwash and when they said corporate didn't accept the claim I was pretty irritated. Corporate doesn't have a number I can actually call and the Harlingen managers can't help me out because it's their decision. They said my antenna was already lifted which lead for it to be broken off. The car is new. I've never taken it anywhere else besides BlueWave to get washed. My car also has scratched all over it which is very noticeable. Now that my antenna is broken my radio doesn't work now since all the chips got wet. If I was you I would save my money and go somewhere else or pay a little more for someone to wash it and actually care for the way it comes out. DO NOT GO THERE. read more

I pay $29.95 a month for FULL SERVICE including Wax. I can wash my car anytime I want but I drove up in a RENTAL today and was denied service and would have to PAY for car wash with my rental!! I'm looking for another place that may have better customer service. I was out of town a few months ago in Beaumont, Texas and had to get a rental for a month while car was in body shop. The Bluewave in Beaumont allowed me to wash my RENTAL as much as I wanted! I guess you have to head NORTH for better customer service. For about the cost of a full tank of gas, you can get unlimited car washes for that month. The car wash itself is not bad (much better and faster than what I would do myself) but there seems to not be so much care from the staff about the vehicle. When you drive up, the staff is suppose to place blue tape on the rear windshield wiper. This is so the mechanical brushes do not snap your rear wiper off. Fifty percent of the time, even though the staff stares at my rear windshield wiper without the obvious blue tape, they choose to ignore it. I have to remind them to please place the tape as to prevent damage to my vehicle. That is a rather unsatisfying and disappointing task that I have to do. When they do place the tape on the windshield, the tape falls off 30% of the time, and I have had to purchase replacement wipers at $18.00. An online market sells them in bulk for discount. If you are not familiar with BlueWave, you drive up towards the tunnel, drive on to the tracks, place your vehicle in neutral, and the tracks will push your vehicle through the different stages of the carwash. This is funny because upon entering the carwash, a staff member will tell you "be careful." How one is to be careful when you relinquish all control of your vehicle to a moving track still boggles my mind. Now upon entering this tunnel, you have a person wearing a blue polo shirt and black slacks inside of the 100+ degree humid tunnel "maneuvering" you in. Their job is to make sure your tires align with the track and will tell you to turn left, right, etc. A majority of the time, this selected person is waving you to drive in, but not even looking in your direction. It is not until the vehicle bounces or slides down the railing and into the track that you are truly noticed. This has caused some alignment issues with my vehicle, and thanks to a shop in McAllen, I can get my vehicle aligned for the price of two large Starbucks Coffees. Going on, once you have bounced back in to the track and told to continue to drive forward, you must watch out as to not rear end the vehicle that is in front of you. It seems that Bluewave wants you as close to the vehicle in front of you so that they can keep the line moving. It happened to me at another Bluewave location, but the person ahead of me decided to break, thus causing me to tap her brand new glossy black vehicle from behind. And as you know, if you hit someone from behind, you are automatically at fault. And it is not just the ones ahead of you that you need to worry about. As you exit the tunnel, your wash is concluded by a tire shine. You are to let the tracks continue to push you through the exit to ensure you get proper shine on your treads. However the weight of the vehicle, that is partially exiting the tunnel is not the same rate as the vehicle behind you that is moving at a slightly faster rate. I have never had any negative experiences at this point, but it is never a good thing when the person behind you honks at you. So, if you want a cheap car wash that will last you a while, I would recommend this. Just go when it is not peak time - like when it is raining. And you will not have to worry about any damages. read more

I don't think it does a good job of drying the car. If you don't get off and dry it with your own towel, you will end up with a bunch of spots. I also blame their blowers when my T-Top mechanism broke on my 2013 F150. Cost me $1,400.00 to fix it. Every time I would take it there and and the blowers would blow on the roof something would pop really loud by the sun roof. It's not really Bluewave's fault, I think it was just how my truck was built and the blowers were hitting just the right spot. read more

Quick and easy car wash and vacuum cleaners are included in the price. I would feel more comfortable if it was a touch-free system, but the padded scrubbers seem to do a good job. Yesterday got inline at Blue Wave in Harlingen and when got to run my cards, the machine was different, wouldn't take my VIP or Express card (which I just changed less than a MONTH AGAO AND LOADED UP WITH $50). So after 3X attempts and holding up a long line, I pulled out my discover card and paid $9. I immediately went inside and was told no longer have the VIP program and would change my card! I told them as a business there was no posters, signs or flyers stating program was going away and was told we "told people". I've been there 2-3 times a month past two years, that is unacceptable. I will not utilize this business who is unprofessional and does not respect their customers and just take whatever free car washes they earned and change PROGRAM with no prior notifications of their customers. As for the saved washes on VIP, I guess that is your business and will save a few washes, but believe me, you will lose customers read more

Our family pays monthly membership fees. We are disappointed, however, that the public gets free use of the vacuum cleaners. So, every time we try to use the vacuum cleaners, we aren't able to because the people are freeloading. That is very unfair to the people that are paying to get the cars washed and especially to individuals that have memberships. Management needs to look into evaluating this. Also, cars that are coming in & out of the carwash & vacuum areas are traveling at a high rate of speed and could pose dangers. The areas is full of standing water so you get your vehicle all splashed when you drive out with clean car! read more

Many people hating on this place. It's so cheap and affordable. Some people complained about car antennas being damaged...any car wash would to the same, there is a sign that says to remove it beforehand. Well I almost always get good service here except today. This guy Alex was so slow at expediting customers before entering to pay then they moved him to control the flow of the line before entering the actual wash he forgot to out bug spray in my vehicle and well I ended up with a clean but full of bugs vehicle. I was not a happy camper so I went to advise the manager on duty and he said he would talk to Alex right now instead I wanted my problem fixed !!!! I was hoping he would take care of my issue immediately instead he was going to talk to Alex right now. Very dissatisfied on how the manager on duty handled the situation with a customer who has been coming here since you opened. While writing this review the manager came back and said he checked the camera and found Alex had in fact not sprayed the bug spray on my vehicle and I was welcome to run it again. Really ? So he didn't not only believe the customer but had to go check the cameras to find out I was not lying wow ! Now I'm VERY dissatisfied. Blue wave corporate I hope you read this and see how your customers are being treated but it might not be important to you I see you have long lines oh well . read more

We have been there several time, at first because they mailed a free card with $15 worth of washes then won another at a local baseball game. Car goes in and gets a good wash and the free vacuum. Two downsides, one is gift card is hard to use in the pay station and two, the bugs do not always get removed. Other than that, worth the price. read more

Bluewave carwash caused $359 worth of damage to our 2016 Jeep Patriot. It bent our antenna over chipping the paint and bending the fender. Their response you should have removed your antenna. They did not inform us to remove the antenna but they did tape down the rear window wiper. Even with that our jeep was not clean still had bugs and road grime on it. read more
