This Blue Wave Express Car Wash is the closest one when I visit my in-laws. It's unfortunate that it's the farthest from my house, as it is the one I prefer from all the Blue Wave Express Car Washes currently in the Rio Grande Valley. This RGV area is surrounded by lots of good restaurants nearby and a few shopping centers. However, the Blue Wave Express Car Wash stands out because if it's speedy service. The times I've been here, even when there is a long line of cars, it has only taken about 10 minutes tops to get my car in and out of the machine. The organization of the staff is such that every car gets serviced quickly. Some vehicles, like my jeep, need blue tape on the back to protect the back-window wiper. The staff here don't delay the line by putting on the tape. When there is a line, everyone spreads out and your vehicle usually gets tape before you even reach the wash area. Bluewave Express Carwash keeps charging your credit or debit card if you sign up for their membership on a monthly basis. When you call the 1-800 number, you get put on hold for ever and they keep saying that they are busy to hold the line and they'll get to you as soon as they can. B***S***. They never answer. I got there at 6:05pm on a Monday and the female who usually waves people in decided to all of a sudden close the entrance right in front of me and 4 other vehicles just because they want to go home early. They are supposed to close at 8. They closed at 7 the last time I showed up so I decided to show up today around 6. Very good drive thru car wash. The basic wash is only 5 dollars and does a good job. They tape your rear wipers so to not be damaged

Weslaco is a great store... BUT, lately they are having trouble keeping the equipment (brushes, entrance readers, etc.) running. Yesterday, Saturday, June 29th I had a meeting where I had to have my vehicle clean. I drove to BW Weslaco only to find them "Waving" people away from the drive in entrance. They told me to come back later. "Something is wrong with the Wash. It keeps shutting down inside!" I do not want this to reflect negatively on the Weslaco personnel. They are always very friendly, courteous and professional. Harlingen store... I then rushed to the BW Harlingen store. "I wish they would have "Waved" me away! During the wash 2 passes the rinse shutoff 2x's on my vehicle midway through. Plus the spot free rinse was not mixed properly. This left the Front-Half of my vehicle all spotted and the Back-Half spotted and soapy! BW both locations failed me on this one!!! Sad but true, Grady (571) read more

I have been a customer for almost a year. I visit the location on FM 529 in Cypress, Tx. I first started noticing water spots on my vehicles after wash. I would have to reclean the windshield and also notice spots on my hood and side windows and roof. I believe they stopped adding the spot free rinse. Something has changed and I'm now looking for another carwash service. read more

Extremely disappointed in the service I was given at your Weslaco location. The location in my opinion is not handicap friendly so I advice you not to use their facilities if you are handicap. I was allowed to purchase a carwash and after I paid was told I could not use the car wash. Seems that 2 floor mats in the bedvof a truck can be used to decline service. I was told to get into the bed of the truck and remove them. As a handicap person I was unable to do so and asked if the CCD could remove them for me, he declined. Then I was not refunded the charge on my card immediately. Seems they have to send the claim via the internet. In all I was extremely dissatisfied with their service. Worst management ever! I was vacuuming my car and they turned off the vacuum, as they clearly saw me still working on my car. It was past 8, but I was there before it, and to top it off the people there seem to be laughing at what they did. It was Simply horrible service and LACK of professionalism. I tried this place out today for the first time and LOVED it! First off, they take credit cards, so I didn't have to struggle to get quarters from super shady machines that sometimes refuse to take my dollar bills. The vacuums are free, which meant that I could actually clean my car completely without spending an arm and a leg. This is seriously a lazy person's best friend. To be honest, I try to see how long I can go without washing my car because the struggle is real. Maybe it's 'cause I'm weak, or maybe it's 'cause I hate any form of manual labor, but somehow, I always end up exhausted after having to scrub my car down at do-it-yourself car washes. This place didn't have much of a line, probably because I went on a weekday morning, and only took minutes to wash. My car was way cleaner than when I do it myself, so I was thrilled. Especially since I didn't even break a sweat. Getting the mechanics down was a learning experience, but I told the attendant (after I paid) that it was my first time and she broke it down for me. (I thought you just drove through, but you're apparently supposed to put your car in neutral and let the machine do the rest.) Anyway, I was extremely pleased with the service and the cost ($6) and am actually considering getting a membership. (A bird pooped on my car about two hours after I left the place. Sadness.) I'm definitely returning and telling all my relatives and friends about it. I do hope they expand though. It's one of a kind and I'm really hoping it doesn't start getting crowded anytime soon. read more

As far as a carwash goes, the machine washes your car well but maybe too well. I was a member when it first opened but the machine damaged my car insignias and brake light panel. I actually had to ask attendants for it back and they found it on the floor next to the scrubbers. When I complained to the management (Margarita) she claimed my car was already damaged and refused to have it repaired. I complained to corporate and they said it was the local managers decision.
