I can deal with poor customers service, but I can't look past the fact that we would pay $2,100 in rent. These apartments describe themselves as luxury apartments but that is not the case. Our apartment was a three bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. The bathroom in the master bedroom had black mold growing. I let management know, they sent in a worker to look at it. He explained to me that they usually have it cleaned and then paint over it. I was in shock because black mold you can't just clean and paint over it. They proceeded to get professionally cleaned, changed the fixtures ( which a month later still rusted), and replaced the fan. The problem persisted no matter how much you cleaned it. The appliances are the original appliances from when they built the apartments. The fridge spoiled my food in less than a week. The manager said it was because it was packed, lol I had only a few things in the fridge. My fridge in my RV works better than the one at the apartment. Not to mention when we were moving out, my friend's SUV was towed as we were inside packing to move the things into her vehicle. When we approached Connie her response was "I didn't know you were going to be moving and it's not my responsibility to tell you to have your hazards light on so you don't get towed." Manco Abbott is a terrible management company. They truly don't care about their residents or they would have better property managers.

Look somewhere else.  There are a variety of problems with this place.  First, the customer service…read moreis terrible.  Connie, seemed more like a "Karen" to me, is horribly rude and unreasonable.  If you ever plan to have a guest at your apartment there is absolutely no parking within the complex.  The maintenance guys are great and agree to let you briefly park in the red because they understand there is no parking.  Don't let Connie catch you in the red because she will aggressively have you towed and then deny responsibility and treat you terribly.  I went to the office seeking an explanation for towing a car that was parked in the same spot maintenance had previously approved and she threatened to call the police, refused to speak to me, and kicked me out of the office.  Mind you, I was calm.  What a miserable human being Connie is.  Stay away, at least until they get a new office person.  Consider yourself warned.

Beware!!!! Management here is a complete joke. The police are constantly here - at least once a…read moreweek. Maintenance is overworked and over staffed. Take forever to respond. An employee told me this place was thrown together and the maintenance team is overwhelmed with work orders. Management allows residents to let dogs roam the property freely..even on the kids playground!! They have ignored several complaints from myself and other neighbors. They have also ignored the two pit bulls who are on a balcony located in building 8 that bark at any and everything walking by!!! There are little to no cameras on the property even after several issues with car theft. The amount of the times I've seen the police is disturbing. I've seen private detectives, helicopters and a few months ago the police an entire building surrounded and part of the property blocked off. Management has done nothing to enhance security. Thomas from the row admitted the security company is terrible and has a high tun over but Katrina, Trent or anyone else has done nothing to improve this obvious issue. Parking is also an issue. Management allows one of its maintenance employees to park a fleet of cars that he brings him from the junkyard. Just pathetic.

My wife and I lived at Cedar Common Complex for a year and a half since July 2021 and I start with…read morethe conclusion that I do not recommend this complex mainly due to its unsafe area and poor management. Initially, we moved into this complex because in July 2021, there were very few one-bedroom complexes available for our move. However, I wish we had paid a bit more and chosen a better complex. I had a $500 foldable bike that they cut the chain during the daytime and stole in front of our unit (see the image below.) They have some cameras around. But that is a joke! It is only active with motion and only saves maybe 2-3hrs a day. So they could not find whoever stole our bike, and management did not care about it, as if this was so common. If you wash clothes in their public washers, you have to stand by them. They steal clothes very frequently. You can not dump the trash in the trash can late at night. We have seen some homeless people sleeping in the trash can rooms. It can be scary at night to go to the trash can room. We sometimes leave food or unwanted stuff for them. Many addicted people are around the complex at nighttime, especially on weekends. There is a school and a parking area right behind this complex which makes this complex very unsafe. One night a drunk girl with all vomit around her was sleeping in front of our complex. This complex has four entrance gates, and almost always, one is broken. Therefore, it makes it easy for anyone to get into the complex. After many complaints, they added a security person to walk around the unit. But it was useless. Still, homeless and strangers are in the unit, especially on weekend nights. He is a lovely guy. But he is not always there, and as he told us, one person is not enough for such a large complex. The manager, Gina, only respects you when you move in. After that, she is a different person! They never address our issues. At our move-out, she charged us $300 for no reason. $90 painting, $100 for general cleaning, $80 for carpet cleaning, and $20 for drip pans. When we moved out, we made sure the unit was spotless. Be careful of this management. I wish someone had written these reviews before we moved in.

Repeated follow-ups, excuses, and lack of urgency have made this an extremely frustrating experience. Small businesses and contractors are expected to meet deadlines, carry insurance, pay employees, cover fuel, materials, payroll taxes, and operating costs -- but apparently this company does not feel the same responsibility when it comes to paying vendors. If you are a contractor or service provider considering doing work for this company, I strongly recommend protecting yourself with clear payment terms and deposits upfront. No business should have to repeatedly chase money they already earned. Professionalism goes both ways, and unfortunately that was not my experience here.

I called again yesterday for kicks and giggles and she literally says "I'm in the middle of something and have to call you back". Of course I didn't receive a returned call. If this is the service that I'm receiving prior to even moving in, I'll definitely pass! I believe I've been treated unfairly borderline discriminated.
