I was planing on moving in on June 1st, but due to a tragic house fire, that date got moved up to May 17th. I have never been to Clovis nor did I know anyone here. Cheyanne and Levi made my move in so smooth. I drove up here with a Uhaul trailer hitched to my truck, I have no experience on how to back one up. Cheyanne took it upon herself to park the trailer for me to unload, then she parked it over night for me and the next day she moved it again so I could go return the trailer. Levi helped me move all my stuff in and he also got me the most amazing chocolate shake! I've been here 5 days now and I have met so many of my neighbors. Everyone seems really nice and friendly. I absolutely love my loft and this whole area is safe. I am very grateful to Cheyanne for all her hard work in making me feel welcomed. I highly recommend Woodbridge Apartments.

Management should get a 0/5 stars. They talk down to you, make it a very hostile environment, i understand if there are matters to discuss but it can be done in a respectful way. Honestly i have read the reviews and seems like a lot of people of color are having issues with management... maybe something for them to look out for. Nice complex but you'll always feel like you're being watched or even get harassed at one point or another. Update: I received a notice to get rid of a service dog within 3 days or I'd be evicted out of the apartment. Since this review, the attitude of the front management changed drastically but just like everyone said, you see NONE of your deposit back plus I owe more after cleaning the house to the best of my ability. Thoughtful touch: there was a little present left for me on the counter upon move in that included a card, some snacks, and a few household items. Just as with any apartment there are some things that are more and less advantageous: * Great location of the complex where you feel safe taking a tranquil run on a Sunday morning or walking to your car at a late hour * Gated 24/7 * Mostly friendly neighbors. Good energy in the complex. * Clean upkeep of the complex, including garbage areas. Although the grass from the gardener has remained over my walkway for two weeks now. * Good condition of the unit. Evidently, the complex has been built fairly recently. * Bigger fridge than in some other apartment complexes. It also has an ice maker. * Washer and dryer are medium size but are included in the unit. Heads up: the dryer buzzes harshly at the end of the cycle, but dries clothes well. * Wish there was more storage available in the kitchen and bathroom. * Kitchen has great amount of counter space. * Wish there was more counter space in the bathroom. * The sink in the kitchen is positioned slightly further off the edge of the counter (my lady hands stretch to reach) and does not appear to be very deep. Something to watch out for if that is of matter. Overall, there have been no issues so far. Will update if more detail occurs. Recommending this complex for those who want to live in Clovis conditions/atmosphere but have smooth access to Fresno.

My old manager? meh... didn't really care, made me feel like I was losing money and it was all on me. Chambers kinda changed all that. Vacancies dont drag forever anymore, tenants actually pay on time, treat the place decent... sounds simple but after what I went thru before it felt amazing. Tenants seem way calmer too. Less drama, fewer complaints... stuff actually gets handled. Chambers takes care of the communication, maintenance, all that stuff without turning it into a headache. Tenants know who to call and stuff actually gets fixed lol. I also like that I'm not just left guessing anymore. New applicant? I know. Lease signed? I know. Something pops up? After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. The grounds are very well kept, it's pin-drop quiet at night and very safe. The rent is reasonable for the area and we're grateful we found our home here. Managers are the heart of any complex (if you've ever had a bad one, you know!) and ours (Susan) is friendly, efficient and absolutely awesome at her job. We are very lucky to have one that listens, responds quickly and is on top of everything. Our maintenance man, Felipe, is also wonderful & is always available for anything we may need him for. During that time, I was able to participate in monthly events such as wine tasting, raffle baskets, and pizza nights. They do whatever that can to accommodate to their tenants and employees. I NEVER had any issues at my apartment complex, and I always felt safe. The location of this apartment complex is amazing! It's next to so many gyms, grocery stores, and shopping outlets. I also enjoy the fact that it's right off of the 168 because my commute to Fresno State was only 8 minutes! I was incredibly impressed with the timeliness of Granite Ridge's manager and maintenance team. We submitted a request during winter when our hot water decided to stop working out of nowhere. Luckily, their team was able to address and fix the issue on the same day. So, we didn't have to take any cold showers. We were also having issues with our fridge with a recurring problem of over-freezing. Eventually, we received a brand new fridge, straight out of the package! I would have loved to stay, but it was time to move onto a house. Thank you Granite Ridge for making our transition to the Fresno area a pleasant one!

However the lease was already signed and they insisted this wasn't an issue but that the apartment had been sitting. They have pest control but I've lived here three months and have called pest control three times and the issue still exists. You even see the water bugs dead outside your front door often. Waking up to use the restroom in the middle of the night to see big bugs on your floor or in your cabinets is not comfortable. No matter what I do, these bugs are showing up everyday. You also have to pay for pest control now. If you don't care about bugs you'll be fine. The appliances in the kitchen are old for these being luxury apartments. The gym is old and lacks equipment. Maintenance is very fast and office always answers calls. For the people saying the office people are never here, it's because they are at the sister property across the street but you can always go there or call. The units are also spacious and garages are a good size.

Also they are PET FRIENDLY! most apartments, condos, and even some homes aren't and they are here. I'm glad we moved in. The apartments are well insulated and you don't hear the planes as often as you think you would. I am able to do my voice over work inside without any problems. It's walking distance to Winco and Costco and the gas station is right there. No problems at all with neighbors or noise they have been awesome even when they were playing music loud they turned it down when it got late and when I closed my door I couldn't even hear the noise. Very respectful. Parking hasn't been bad at all I seem to always grab a space right in front of my apartment. Also the laundry room hasn't really had anyone there when I went to take my laundry in before I got my own washer and dryer. I will mention there are times during the weekend maybe even at night when people come in and go through the dumpster looking for recycling but they don't cause any trouble. I was taking out the trash and just told them hi and they were very nice. If you ever have trouble there is security so you shouldn't worry. TLDR: Love the place! It's a perfect size even coming from a big place. Quieter than you'd expect and everyone is friendly and helpful.
